Except the Tuesday prices are no longer available. Still some bargains but not the ones I wanted to buy.

    Yeah... grump...
I got my Thank You coupon this morning but price change made it worth less (not worthless, just diminished its value)

  2. Just found my copy of the newsletter - extracts...
    About Albino-3 Legend:

The resurrection of a legendary and groundbreaking software synthesizer from the past!

Originally released in 2006, Albino-3 was the result of a collaboration between Virtual Instrument designer Peter Linsener and Dutch sound designer and musician Rob Papen.

Now reborn as Albino-3 Legend and with our in-house programmers now at the helm we have added VST3 support, different GUI sizes, and compatibility with the latest PC and Mac operating systems

Albino-3 Legend will have a price of 99 bucks and the upgrade from Albino-3 to the Albino-3 Legend will be 49 bucks. More information will follow very soon of course…..

    Other info:
    Exploxer 9 upgrade: Upgrade cost €  74-- | USD 74 (Oct/Nov 2023 special price)

Customers purchasing or upgrading to eXplorer-8 now will get a free upgrade to eXplorer-9!
The free upgrade to eXplorer-9 also includes eXplorer-8 purchases made during September 2023.

  3. Re Albino: Papen and the plugin designer LinPlug had a parting of the ways.

    Quote

Sound designer Rob Papen has announced that Albino 3, his collaboration with Linplug, will be discontinued at the end of 2012:

As you might know, a few years ago I asked LinPlug do build a custom synthesizer, with my specs and ideas added…. and last but not least my presets added.

Since a few years I formed a own team with Jon Ayres (RPCX) and together we build some great products which I also fully can backup.

The other products reflect far more the direction I wanted to go (sound wise and feature wise).
Therefore I decided to stop this product which was build in conjunction with Linplug.

With LinPlug having designed the Albino audio engine I wonder how different the new version will sound.

Also wonder if you buy Explorer 8 if there's a grace period update to Explore 9.

Steven , am i crazy or the vauchers was supposed to be still running ....

    depends on the voucher...
My Thank You voucher had an expiration date of 11/1 and it's still there.
My UADTuesday one is gone - don't remember if it showed a date.
If you had a voucher 'fixed' by support those have expiration dates and aren't tied to campaigns.

But in answer to your other question - yes, you probably are crazy. ?

If they reset my UADTUESDAY coupon a 3rd time and if I get the $25 thank you today I'll pick up UA 175B & 176 Tube Compressor Collection.
Not really counting on it though, as I've had to request help from support almost each time (but they've delivered).

Still it's been a great sale and I now have a collection that I never planned on.

Was too slow this morning... when I dropped it in my cart price updated to $149. :(
Oh well, was sale was great while it lasted...

Guys beware that your purchases don't lower the price of other bundles like Ultimate.

It always showed 799 for me.

You can double check what I am saying in the uadforum.

I myself don't care, since lots of plugins within the Ultimate bundle don't lure me in.

Yeah not for Ultimate, it's considered an Apollo/Satellite bundle - not owning either I can't even place it in my cart.

However, but they do discount for UAD Diamond Edition (if you have ordered an included plugin). I wasn't paying attention to the other bundles so not aware if they were dipping in price as I purchased the singles.

  7. Audio Damage Enso updated to v1.2.6 (not a deal)

    ENSO CHANGES

    V1.2.6c (Oct 3rd, 2023)
    >> The fourth (!!!!) attempt at a macOS installer that we didn’t mess up in some way. A brief editorial: Apple has made it so comically complicated to deploy our particular species of product at this point that mistakes are not only likely, but nearly inevitable. (Also, we may be using that previous statement as a beard for what is quite obviously our own ineptitude.) Apologies, and this one is absolutely, definitely, almost certainly probably correct.

    V1.2.6b  (Oct 3rd, 2023)
    - no info

    V1.2.6 (yesterday)
    >> A bug was found where Enso was not loading audio files that weren’t in the native sample rate of the session. This has been fixed.

Check your email for update notice containing download link.

    Edit: added V1.2.6b & c info (thanks @Brando)

I wanted to ask for another thank you voucher but I guess they won't be able to solve it before the sale winds down (since it takes them about 2-3 days minimum) :(

Ask.  I just got mine and it's good till Nov 1st.   Who knows what the next sale is going to be - might come in handy.

  10. I'm assuming that you clicked on the ellipses on the right side of the post and clicked on 'report' to report post/poster?
(before you go DUH, that's obvious - not everyone knows about that feature)
Forums admins pay attention to reports they don't care who's blocking/ignoring who.

  11. At $10 this is a great deal, even if you have others it's worth picking up.

Personally I've found that the variations by different devs have different flavors/mojos so I like to have a variety.

Check out the free offering of Bitter Sweet by Flux.

NI's Transient Master is also nice one.  While it may not appear as flexible as Softube's Transient Shaper there's been a time or two when I was more impressed by the results.

There's quite a number of others

This situation is made even worse as IKM refuse to sign their Windows installers (saving approx $10!).

Actually between $179 USD to $499 USD a year, cheaper if you buy multiyear packages.  Apple certs run around $100 per year.
(maybe $10 if you consider splitting that cost over their numerous products)
I've seen some cheaper Windows certs but they're issued per person not per company.
But do 100% agree that a company IKM's size really should have their products signed.

It seems this is a real regression to their old authorization system! It's getting worse and worse! I'll pass and just use what I have.

I was really grumpy at first too, but turns out it's not that bad - you submit the email address you used to purchase with and it immediately sends you your info.
Turns out a single serial key unlocks all my purchased amps.
It's nice in that it holds the all the amps and you can switch between them.
Assuming you own more than one it's easier than loading/unloading/loading different VSTs to switch them.

What concerns me more is their response to that. I don't know if this is a fad since Linus Media Group, but companies seem very eager to literally wave off user concerns and just say "trust me bro," as if they were buddies you can rely on rather than a business providing you a service you're paying for.

Yeah that attitude creeps me out too.
