I am sure there a users on here with a similar configuration as your new PC and are not having any issues. You mentioned your MSI drivers - are these for your onboard audio? If so, then (and this is a long shot) what happens if you disable all audio devices except the Focusrite. Do you happen to have an Nvidia card? Disable the audio on that as well (using Device manager - under System devices , High Definition Audio Controller)

Haunted Strings requires the FULL version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or above.

I did try this on an audio clip to make sure this worked on my system. It did..... We need more information about your system. See my signature for the type of information we would need. I am assuming that you have updated all of your hardware drivers. Do this using manufacturer's websites rather than Windows updates. While you’re at it, you might as well check you are using the latest versions.

Select the audio clip then Process - Transpose

Which you can prevent by following the advice here: See: https://www.techilife.com/exclude-drivers-from-windows-quality-updates/

Does the Roland Fantom XR transmit Patch changes via MIDI when you change a patch. Maybe you can use Cakewalk to record what the Roland Fantom XR transmits so you can get an idea of what the XR expects. In Preferences - MIDI - Playback and Recording, make sure Patch Changes is selected under “Record" You could also use an instrument definition file for the Roland Fantom XR. https://www.roland.com/global/support/by_product/fantom-xr/updates_drivers/caae31ad-be3a-4735-a7a7-a28370c24e97/

What format are the “karaoke files”?

Try disabling C-states and Intel Speedstep (This is done in the PC's BIOS and the method varies between PCs) Try Start + run "control powercfg.cpl,,1" (without quotes) and set CPU Min and Max to 100% (Under Processor power management) In preferences | Audio | Configuration File try adjusting the following: EnableSetThreadIdealProcessor = False MixThreadCount = {number of cores minus 1} You might like to exit Cakewalk by Bandlab, go to the following folder and make a copy of the AUD.INI file before doing this: %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your hardware drivers (Not just for your Audio interface). Do this using manufacturer's websites rather than Windows updates. While you’re at it, you might as well check you are using the latest versions. You might want to update your Vdist runtimes. Requires the full retail version of Kontakt 5.6.8 or later.

If you want the tempo to remain at the “uniformly slow speed” though out the “approx 12 measure section”, you need to delete all of the existing tempo changes and then insert your own.
-
Just do the insert a blank measure at the beginning of each MIDI track, and then copy the MIDI set up data info in the vacant space that you created.

I use direct MIDI commands to do this. But how you would do this depends on how programmable your MIDI controller is. Mine is a PCR-800 and this is easy. I will give you my example of how I do it. Your method will vary - see the user guide for your MIDI controller In the keybinding dialogue box, I use MIDI for the “ Type of Key”, CC119 for the shift command and then the real low notes to do the actual command. If I want to assign the lower Eb-2 key to play, I map this in the keybinding dialogue box. Then set “MIDI shift define” to 119 Then for the relevant transport control, I program the PCR-800 button to send the following: B0 77 7F 90 03 DT B0 77 00 (Where DT is the value of the button) The “77” above is 119 in hexidecimal When I pless the programmed button, the project plays

I stay way from 32 bit plugins these days.

Have you checked the tempo track (In Track view, press ALT+T to open tempo track) to make sure there are no tempo change events throughout the track? If Tempo change events are present, you might want to offset the entire tempo map (right-click the Tempo track and select Offset Tempo Map) Note: When I create MIDI files, I do add tempo changes throughout for realism.

That's why I said there may be others..... CC74, cc73, cc72, cc71.....

Look for sample rates. Look in every possible place were this can be configured and make sure they match absolutely everywhere.
-
Just tried it here on a PC configured as per my signature - worked fine here. Started with Rapture Pro - Strat sound. Replaced it with Arturia Pigments 3.5 - custom patch Then replaced it with Massive X (VST3) - custom patch Was able to play synths immediately after the replacements. May need some info about your PC set up and version of Cakewalk and what VSTi plugins you are using.
-
Are there any MIDI CC events in the track?: For Chorus > look for CC93 events. For Reverb > look for CC91 events. For Volume > look for CC7 events. For Pan > look for CC10 events. There may be others. Also, check for MIDI automation nodes (These are different from those in the PRV or Event List View)
-
Input echo on. MIDI Channels set correctly? List what you have tried so far.....
-
Pitch bend still glitches my CPU with Chromaphone 3. Mind you, My i5 is slight under the minimum specs. That being said, no other synths glitch (Including Melda Msoundfactory full version and Massive X, Pigments 3.5
-
I have to confirm this from personal experience. In the time Sampletank 4 has been around, I have had two specific issues that were fixed (and acknowledged in the change logs) in subsequent updates. One was to do with attack times at high velocities and the other was to do with pitch bend ranges not being what was actually dialled in.

like exposing that text colour in the Theme Editor perhaps?

Hell to the no!
