  1. This worked here. Remember these custom automation lane names are saved with projects and any Project Templates. They are not global.
  2. Holding CTRL while clicking node sides adjusts simultaneously Allow invert by crossing the edges. (both horizontal and vertical -horizontal would reverse) When holding CTRL while clicking centre node moves all affected CCs with rectangle
  3. Can we please have the ability to rename CC lanes in the PRV (When the name is visible)
  4. Currently, Instrument definition files only function for external synths and external sound modules. It would be good if we can add Instrument definition files for VSTi plugins. Mainly for CC types so the correct names show up in the CC lanes in the PRV. I know these names can be configured globally. However per plugin would be nice. Yes, I know I could “just use Automation lanes”. But PRV CC lanes are, currently more flexible (transform tool for exampel),
  5. Sorry, you never mentioned that. My crystal ball is still in getting repaired.

    Blue Arp not working

I gave Bluearp a quick try and I was able to get it working here (uninstalled it now) Steps: · Load SIT of Bluearp - enable MIDI out and input echo. Set to MIDI channel 1. Set MIDI in to MIDI Controller (PRC-800.) input echo on · Load SIT with VST that I want to control (Rapture Pro) - input echo on. Point track’s input the Bluearp (Should be present on MIDI in list) · Load preset on Bluearp · Press Space bar - to make Cakewalk by Bandlab play. · Play keys on PCR Pattern from Bluearp played using Rapture Pro.
  7. Always start your projects on Measure 2. Shift your entire project along by 1 measure. Starting everything on the absolute 1st measure does not really give anything time to initialise.
  8. What were you using for the drums in the original Cakewalk project before you did the export to the MIDI file? If you used a drum VSTi, then that is the issue. MIDI files can not have the VSTi configuration in then - these files simply contain MIDI data.. If you don't have an external sound module (like a Roland Canvas for example) that has drums, after you load the MIDI files into Cakewalk, you will have to reload the drum VSTi and then route your MIDI track to that VSTi. You will need to keep the Cakewalk project file as CWP files to keep that routing intact.
  9. Last reply nearly 2 years ago. You might want to start a new thread..... Note: I have yet to have this issue.
  10. I just gave it a try. I downloaded and installed Vital (never used it before) and set up an basic patch with a low pass filter. I mapped it to CC74 (could have been any but I usually use CC74 for a LP filter) using my MIDI controller (Vital has MIDI learn) I recorded about 4 measures of a chord rift. I opened up the Piano Roll View and added a line on CC64. The filter opened as expected. No promises, but if I get a chance I could do a quick video for you. Of course, the other option is to use Automation. Open the automation lane, enable write. Move a knob while recording vital. The automation lane will be created for you to edit.
  11. I would map a MIDI CC to the filter control. Then in the MIDI track controlling Vital, simply draw a line in the Piano Roll View (PRV) controller lane for that MIDI CC.
  12. According to Producer Loops FAQ: https://www.producerloops.com/faq.php ------------------------------------------------------- Are your Sample Packs Royalty-Free? YES! The products we sell can be used in your releases without paying any additional royalties to the rights owners. If there are ever any exceptions to this rule then the terms of the exception will be made very clear on the relevant product page. -------------------------------------------------------
  13. I use single Controller view. Under the PRV view menu, I always have “Show Multiple lanes” deselected. In fact I resisted the change from CPA9 until this view option was added to Sonar Platinum. (and CbB)
  14. An alternative method. In the PRV, select the notes you want to make the same duration. Then, while pressing SHIFT, adjust the duration of one. All of the selected note’s durations will match the one you’re adjusting.
  15. Care factor zero. All it means is they have not tested those plugins with CbB. Does not mean they will not work. Most have not been tested in CbB and yet they still work extremely well in it.
  16. For Omnisphere, see https://support.spectrasonics.net/manual/Omnisphere2/25/en/topic/browser-operation-page05e For any other instrument, see the user guide for that instrument to see if it an be configured to respond to Patch Change MIDI events
  17. Did you copy your aud.ini file from your original PC or did you do a fresh install of CbB. Do you still have that file from the old PC (or a backup)? If so, then rename the version that's on the i7-12700K PC and copy the one from your old PC. See what that does. This file is in the following folder %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core Just to confirm, you did disable C-States and Intel speed step in the new PC’s BIOS, right? If still having issues, then you might want to drop a note to CW support (mentioning what you’ve tried so far) https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  18. I am sure there a users on here with a similar configuration as your new PC and are not having any issues. You mentioned your MSI drivers - are these for your onboard audio? If so, then (and this is a long shot) what happens if you disable all audio devices except the Focusrite. Do you happen to have an Nvidia card? Disable the audio on that as well (using Device manager - under System devices , High Definition Audio Controller)
  19. Haunted Strings requires the FULL version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or above.
  20. I did try this on an audio clip to make sure this worked on my system. It did..... We need more information about your system. See my signature for the type of information we would need. I am assuming that you have updated all of your hardware drivers. Do this using manufacturer's websites rather than Windows updates. While you’re at it, you might as well check you are using the latest versions.
  21. Select the audio clip then Process - Transpose
  22. Which you can prevent by following the advice here: See: https://www.techilife.com/exclude-drivers-from-windows-quality-updates/
  23. Does the Roland Fantom XR transmit Patch changes via MIDI when you change a patch. Maybe you can use Cakewalk to record what the Roland Fantom XR transmits so you can get an idea of what the XR expects. In Preferences - MIDI - Playback and Recording, make sure Patch Changes is selected under “Record" You could also use an instrument definition file for the Roland Fantom XR. https://www.roland.com/global/support/by_product/fantom-xr/updates_drivers/caae31ad-be3a-4735-a7a7-a28370c24e97/
