Can we please have the ability to rename a track by double clicking on a track name in the PRV Track Pane.

How can this have ever have been $US299.00 when it has just been released..... In some countries (including Australia), adding a crossed out higher price that a product was never offered for can attract hefty fines. Try that stunt over here and the ACCC will be all over this..... This must be allowed in the US. Note: the $US199.00 looks like the true price.

What happens if you rename your "%AppData%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core\AUD.ini" file? (While CBb is closed)

I am pretty sure WRK files do not have WAV file embedded, but are linked to by the WRK file. (Someone please correct me if this is not the case) I believe you would have to find the original wave files. I would expect that if the wav file was embedded in “WIPEOUT.WRK” then the file size would be much larger than 274KB If you are able to open the file in Cakewalk Pro Audio 5 or 6 you may be able to save as a Bundle file (if that version supports BUN files). Then open the BUN file in later versions of Cakewalk or Sonar.

I have V-Collection X and Pigments. $US149.00 ($AU232) for an upgrade to V-Collection 11. Nothing in the V-Collection 11 is really lifting my skirt.. Maybe Augmented Mallets I downloaded the demo of JP8000 V and had a brutally honest looks at the controls. When you break it down, it has all the controls of many other synths. (Osc, filter, ADSR, amp, effects). I think I will wait for a sale - and even then , for Augmented Mallets.

I purchased V Collection X on March 21st for $US99.00 As of 1:18:27 PM Thursday, 24 April 2025 France time, my Arturia log on still shows “Upgrade from V Collection 9 to the V Collection X“ for $US299.00 (I probably have another Arturia product that qualifies for another update to V Collection X.

Many Arturia instruments already support MPE. I just tested MPE functionality on the OP-XA V from Cakewalk and it works fine. Which specific Arturia synth are you referring to?

You are going to have to give us more information. Which audio interface? Have you updated the drivers. When you say “I’m using ASIO drivers” , are these native ASIO drivers and not a wrapper (like ASIO4ALL, Magix Low Latency, etc) What Samplerate, bit depth and buffer size are you using. What are your PC specs? (Cpu and generation?)

Maybe the JP8000, Synthx V, MiniBrute V, and Augmented Mallets Full will be added..... and a few existing synths will be updated..... Just my Fan-dangled speculation.....

For the Prochannel stuff, save as a preset. Then load that preset into the another track’s Prochannel For the effects rack/bin, temporarily create a FX chain. Then Drag the whole FX chain to the other track. Hold CTRL and drag to copy the FX chain to the other track. When done, extract the Effect Chain plugins of the source (if copied) and destination.

I do this all the time with GM MIDI file tracks and have never had an issue. Works every time with any VST2 (Or VST3 for that matter). I add the instances of soft synths that I need, without the MIDI tracks. Then I route the various MIDI tracks to the respective soft synth. If I was getting no sound, I would check things like MIDI Channels and/or note ranges. With the SI-Bass Guitar , make sure the notes you’re sending are not too high. I am pretty sure the MIDI channel does not matter for that synth (receives on any). Each MIDI track of a GM MIDI file is usually set to a specific MIDI Channel, rather than none. Maybe your VST2 plugins are set to receive on a specific MIDI Channel rather than any. Depends on the VST2 plugin. Any chance we can see a screenshot of a vst2 that is not working - including the Inspector for the MIDI track - showing the MIDI channel, etc.

Yes, routing a synth's MIDI out to another Synth's MIDI in to would work. The issue I have with this is that you have to remember to keep input echo enabled on the destination synths MIDI track for the routing to continue to work. It's all to easy to inadvertently disable that input echo (especially when using global input echo)- and then left wondering why the routing stopped working. This is where MIDI sends that behave in the same way audio Sends do for audio tracks would be handy. The has been feature requested for a while now, but so far, nothing. When I would like single MIDI track to trigger multiple instruments, I create multiple parts inside a single instance of a multitimbral plugin (like Kontakt, UVI Falcon/workstation, IKM Sampletank, etc). Make sure all the parts are set to receive on the same MIDI channel.

No there is not a CAL split command. You would have to write the code to do the splits. To split all selected notes at measures, you would have to shorten the duration of any notes that cross at least one measure threshold. Then use the INSERT command to add any subsequent notes until the duration of the original note. If course you would have to account for notes that cross more then one measure threshold. There would be a few Beat , MakeTime and a Do While loop in there somewhere... Does this CAL script do what you are after? Split Notes to Measures.CAL

Other than a new GUI and the fact that this combines El Clapo, Das Boot, and Le Snappet, is there anything new in the sounds themselves.... any optimisations. Any Change log? Also, I have El Clapo, Das Boot, and Le Snappet and it was not free (after logging on) . It was $US10.00

Can we please have all menus that follow the current theme? The Simple Instrument Track and the effect menu in the effect rack do follow the theme. Can this also include the main menu, the Track View menu, the Piano Roll View menu, the Staff View menu, etc

One would have to be written. However, I am pretty sure the resultant notes would end up being in the same clip. Note: CAL scripts operate on MIDI events only.

What happens if you uninstall and reinstall (update if necessary) your audio interface drivers?

Regarding the MIDI track that is routed to the Korg Triton plugin, what MIDI channel is that MIDI track set to?
