  1. If you have the Smart Tool enabled, holding ALT while single clicking in the Controller Lane will place a single controller event.
  2. No WHEEL events in the lead instrument MIDI track prior to the start of the first verse? (can use Event list view to check) I usually place a WHEEL > 0 event in each set of MIDI initialisation events at the start of all project’s MIDI tracks.
  3. Try Start + run "control powercfg.cpl,,1" (without quotes) and set CPU Min and Max to 100% (Under Processor power management) I am assuming that the first thing you did before installing CbB that you installed all Windows 10/11 patches. I am also assuming you installed the latest drivers for all of your hardware (Not just for your Audio interface). I am thinking you did this using manufacturer's websites rather than with Windows updates. While you’re at it, you might as well check you are using the latest versions. In preferences | Audio | Configuration File try adjusting the following: EnableSetThreadIdealProcessor = False MixThreadCount = {number of cores minus 1} You might like to exit Cakewalk by Bandlab, go to the following folder and make a copy of the AUD.INI file before doing this: %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core This may not be as important these days, buy it’s worth a try. See if disabling C-states and Intel Speedstep helps (This is done in the PC's BIOS and the method varies between PCs) What Sample rate, bit depth and buffer size are you using? Other users might have better suggestions than these.
  4. I think it depends on what graphics card one has and how the Pigments patches are programmed. I have a Pigments patch hat uses the sampler engine (with granular active) and the analogue engine (3 oscillators active), and random modulation of the granular engine’s start time. I have that running through Pigments multi mode filter and the format filter. The filter’s is also modulated. The task manager CPU hovers around 10% when playing a 4 or 5 node chord in Pigments standalone. This is on a PC configured as per my signature.
  5. Or put another way. Is there anything sonically that MiniFreak V can do that Pigments 4.01 cannot?
  6. Have a look in your vouchers on your UVI account. I didn’t get the email from UVI, but my voucher is there on my account. Note: I have WS1 and WS2 https://www.uvi.net/en/discount
  7. Have you tried in non linear precision mode? (Under Expert settings)
  8. Oh well, that works for me. I hope you find a way to start playback with the patch browser open.
  9. I did it from within Amplitude 5 itself. Clicking “restore Purchases”, brings up the IKPM, which finalises the activation. Once that is completed, the MESA Boogie Mark II stuff appears in Amplitude 5.
  10. I just MIDI Keybinding . Preferences - Customisation - Keyboard Shortcuts (Advanced) For Play pause I bind the Eb-2 note to Play/Pause. Controller to 119 Of course, I select “Enabled” Then, on the button on the PCR800 I want to program, I set it up to transmit the following MIDI events: B0 77 7F 90 03 DT B0 77 00 where: BO 77 7F is the CC119 > 127 to shift on 90 03 DT is the note on (DT is the button value 0 or 127) B0 77 00 is the CC119 > 0 to shift off A note off is note required. How you would do this with your keyboard controller would be covered in your MIDI controller’s user manual.
  11. I don’t use the PCR800 with ACT, but as a straight MIDI controller. Hopefully someone using their MIDI Controller with ACT can chime in.
  12. Using my MIDI keyboard controller (PCR800), I was able to start Project playback while the Patch Browser was open. (PC configured as per signature) I have used a MIDI controller / note mapping to create the key binding to “Play”.
  13. Select none, then do the export. If you want the whole thing, you don’t have to select anything. Just make sure “Entire Mix”is selected (under“SOURCE CATEGORY” ) on export dialogue box.
  14. Then you are probably looking at a project specific plugin causing this - trial and error I’m afraid.
  15. "fully patched" means are all the Windows updates installed.
  16. Sampletank, UVI Workstation, Kontakt are example of vstis that are Per-Output. In these examples, a single instance can have multiple parts, with each part responding to a specific MIDI channel. Also, each part can be directed to a specific audio track. Because of this, I can see why "Per-Output Instrument tracks are unsuitable for MPE instruments". For me personally, I am looking forward to the greater controller resolution that MIDI 2.0 can potentially offer. Instead of 127 discreet values, we could benefit from 16384 (like you get with WHEEL events). Mine you, with some parameters, 127 discreet values is enough and does not cause audible stepping. For MPE handling of parameters on individual notes, we have already had the ability to do this via poly Polyphonic Aftertouch (even though editing is a pain). Some Arturia V Collection synths do actually respond to Polyphonic Aftertouch MIDI events (CS-80 V is an example)
  17. What have you tried so far? I am assuming you have rebooted, updated your Focusrite Clarett drivers and that your PC is as fully patched as t can be. I am also assuming that the Focusrite Clarett is not on a non powered hub. Rather, plugged into a powered hub or ,preferably, on a USB port on the back of your PC. Also, on some PCs, it's better to have your audio interface on a USB2 port (black rather than blue). However, my Focusrite 2i2 is on a blue USB port and I have never had this issue. Also, it could be a plugin that particular project uses..... Probably unrelated but have you disabled all USB power savings in device manager.
  18. While this will not “disable them altogether”, you could use the Cakewalk Theme Editor to make them invisible by using a colour that has an opacity of 0%
  19. Only my system , there is a file called Roland.ins. This is an instrument definition file for various Roland synths I opened up this file in standard text editor and I did indeed find references to the XP-80 in there. Looks like this is the instrument definition file to use. This file should have the patch names and controller names. Then you need a way to get the XP-80 into Cakewalk - this can be via an audio signal to your audio interface. See, page 1309 of the latest PDF Cakewalk by Bandlab for more information on Instrument definitions

    Track Zoom Issue

Maybe drop a note Cakewalk support here: https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000025633

    Track Zoom Issue

Whoops apologies , yes, I meant zooming..... it’s damn hot here..... 36C here...... ALT+Mouse wheel zooms here.....

    Track Zoom Issue

Holding ALT while using the scroll wheel consistently horizontally scrolls for me.

    Track Zoom Issue

In the track view, to the left (where it lists the track names), move your mouse point to a line separating the tracks, you will see the mouse cursor change. Drag this up and down will zoom that track’s height. Holding down SHIFT while doing this, will adjust all selected tracks to be the same height. Holding down CTRL while doing this, will increased/decrease all selected track’s height. To Zoom horizontally, mouse over the ruler until the mouse pointer looks like a magnifying glass. See the Cakewalk Help file for more information.
