  1. Sorry, I have already uninstalled the demo of the Triton VST. But I made sure the MIDI channel of the SIT was set to Channel 1 rather than “none”. The bank select method was set to “Normal“ (Under the words “Patch Browser” down the bottom of the MIDI track inspector) In the MIDI track Inspector (press “ i ” to show), under where you set to the MIDI channel, is where you put the bank and patch number (By default, they both say “None”) For the bank, Just enter the number numerically rather than drop down. The patch can be entered from the drop down or entered numerically. To insert a patch change - Menu item > Insert - Bank/Patch Change. Same deal as above. Bank number numerically, patch number from the drop down or entered numerically. Bank Select Method is “Normal”. Apologies for lack of screenshots.
  2. For the Korg Triton in Cakewalk, you can use the standard patch change command either in the MIDI track settings, or as a patch change MIDI Event in the track itself Bank 0 to 3 corresponds to Bank A to D patch number corresponds to the patch number of the given bank. I am not sure how to get to the EX8PCM banks as entering a bank greater than 3 just selects Bank 0 on the Triton VST. (Maybe someone else can enlighten us) Note: This worked on both the VST2 and VST3 version of the Triton plugin.
  3. 84.4GB? (Even SDS Edition 18.6GB). Yeah....nah! I think I will stick with Arturia Jup 8 V4
  4. With Arturia’s MINI V3, sounds like a square wave with a duty cycle of around 25 to 30% mixed with a sawtooth. Glide at 7.44. Mod Wheel mapped to the LFO AM and the LFO mapped the the VCO123FM - Amount 0.0002. LFO rate around 9 hz.
  5. Wouldn’t you be wanting to be unchecking those boxes?
  6. If you are sure it's not a plugin in demo mode - try increasing your buffer size. If using a sample rate higher than 48K then try it at 48K.

    New model & pricing?

I feel like waiting and seeing.....
  8. Worked here (tested it before posting). Maybe I have set a keybinding. (Just checked - I have) To delete a marker, while keeping the left mouse button pressed on a marker, press delete.
  9. Sounds like VST3 versions are now being used instead of VST2 versions, which may not be able to load the presets. Under Preferences - Files - VST settings, check “Hide Related VST2 Plug-Ins” or “Replace If Possible on Project Load” under “VST3 Migration”
  10. Let's just wait and see.............. Yes, there will be "price points" (according to the FAQ) - but until there are official announcements, everything else is pure speculation. Happy music making!
  11. Some synths respond to portamento. For Instance, for GM/XG synths and TTS-1 CC5 = Portamento time. CC65 > 0 to 63 = Portamento off. CC65 > 64 to 127 = Portamento on. For other synths, this can be mapped through MIDI learn.
  12. Many things. For example. Convert channel aftertouch to poly aftertouch., Add controller ramps (up, down or up then down). Convert controller linear ramps to curves. Change a contour of a controller curve Create a controller linear ramps between first and last selected events. Convert a series of notes to a single note and pitch bend (to convert to legato) - this only works with GM/XG modules and TTS-1. Use a slider to move a split point between notes. Position the now pointer to the nearest measure, but of offset it by how far the left marker is from its nearest measure. (good for capturing notes that start start slightly before a measure when copying and pasting). Many of these functions I have made as buttons on Studioware Panels. There are many more - too many to list.
  13. CAL (Cakewalk Application Language) allows one to write code to manipulate existing MIDI data that is in your Cakewalk project. CAL also allows changing of selection markers and the now cursor. It is not applicable to audio data.
  14. Personally, for any given MIDI track or Simple instrument track, what I do is I add an arbitrary volume event (CC7 and/or CC11) at the beginning couple measures ( before any note events.)
  15. What I do is set RechannelMIDI=1 in the Cakewalk.ini file - done in Preferences - File - Initialisation File (Advanced). Then, for the MIDI track the clips are on, set the MIDI channel to a specific channel (rather than the default “none”.) Then when you bounce MIDI clips, the MIDI channels of all events of those clips will change to match the MIDI channel the MIDI track is set to. I have key bound “B” to bounce clip.
  16. Self created CAL script and Studioware panels..... (because they still work in CbB)
  17. Does this buzzing sound occur even if nothing is being played?
  18. What I did is picked up an old HP DC7600 SFF and a side bracket......
  19. I have used a 2nd PC with Windows 7 32bit to use my SW1000XG (MIDI). CbB is in a Windows 10 PC and it is connected to the SW1000XG via a Roland USB to MIDI adapter. I use MIDIOX to do the MIDI routing on the Windows 7 PC I have worked this way since 2015.
  20. Looks like a permissions issue? What is the exact path to where your recording is saved to? Does that path actually exist (maybe a drive has gone AWOL)?
  21. Could you not set up your one instance of Kontakt, do the routing of multiple MIDI channels and then save as a Track Template?
  22. I'm with the “plug-in is in Demo Mode” theory..... If it’s not that, then something must have changed. What have you tried so far?
