True. I listened through the presets and after a while I felt silly marking my favorites because I felt like it would be easier to mark the ones that I don't like instead.
-
Damn, I didn't see that. When where how?!

I can relate. I have so many of HoRNet plugins but haven't even used most of them yet. Except for Multifreqs. That's super useful for visualizing the frequencies of multiple tracks at the same time to see where the frequencies clash together. And it's easy to use. I'd probably use more of my HoRNet plugins if they came with a manual. Instead they just have video tutorials. Better than nothing but I really prefer a proper manual.

In case anyone bought some u-he synth(s) and is new to u-he: They have plenty of free soundbanks in their Patchlib. It's easy to miss. They're a little hidden, because they're currently reworking their patchlib and you have to navigate to the old patchlib. There you can select your synth and will find plenty of soundbanks, most of which are free.
-
Well that's good news. I would have loved to get my Komplete Kontrol A49 but didn't really expect to receive it. But at least I can keep my u-he synths. Yay! ?
-
Really, it's a rompler? I always thought Usynths were softsynths with a user interface for dummies.
-
If you have an active Loopcloud plan or get one now you get Usynth Core for free. It's probably a generic code which will be found on some forum sooner or later, but I'm an honest guy. I think one month of Loopcloud isn't asking too much in return for a free Usynth.

Me neither. I hate this uncertainty. I guess they're discussing the issue with their legal department/attorney/lawyer and fear to make a public statement that could be held against them.

I'm no expert but I guess the point is to sell soundbanks. ? Besides, it does come with some free sounds and I think some of them sound quite nice.

Hive and Repro for 49€ each and Komplete Kontrol A49 for 66.67€. But I doubt that I'll receive the latter.
-
I've only bought Repro right now (because I already have Diva), so I haven't tested it yet but Diva has a much better reputation and is always listed as one of the top soft synths, so I would go with that. But as I said, it's very CPU hungry. An issue that I underestimated when I bought it. I can only use very few instances at the same time without getting performance problems.
-
Diva only if you have a fast computer. It sounds great but kills your CPU

I ordered a Komplete Kontrol A49 for 66€ but instead of an automatic confirmation mail I got an email telling me that they're "checking your order, and to clarify the next steps. This email is not a valid order confirmation." I guess I won't get it ?
-
It's still listed with 49.92€ in my browser: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/nks-partners/u-he/hive-2/
-
I bought it right now, for 49€. Along with Repro, so around 99€ for both together.

Up to 88% Off Izotope Upgrades and Crossgrades
audioschmaudio replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
The autocompletion of my browser entered the credentials for Native Instruments because it's now hosted on their site and that didn't work, but when I replaced them with the ones that my browser had saved for Izotope.com, I was able to log in. -
Beat Magazine offers Chordjam Lite from Audiomodern for free with the latest issue. The English issue isn't out yet but I have the German one already. If you're a subscriber you'll find it at www.plugins-samples.com/downloads. I couldn't find a comparison chart of Chordjam and Chordjam Lite but when I compared the Lite version to the trial version of the full product, the only difference that I could find was that the Lite version doesn't have a sequencer. But you still have all the options for configuring the chord generation, like scale, chord type, inversions, number of notes, randomization, arpeggios and so on.

SoundSpot Union Synth Month Flash Sale (Exclusive) for $10
audioschmaudio replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Last year around the same time they had it for $5. I still had some virtual cash on PB and got it for €2.14. I hardly use it. It's okay, but nothing great. Instead of buying it for $10 one should save the money for a better and more expensive synth, imo. -
UVI Synth Anthology 4 is out - Discover your upgrade offer!
audioschmaudio replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
How is Synth Anthology in comparison to Syntronik 2? Are they very similar? Is one better than the other in some way? -
Tracktion Labor Day Sale and New Player (Attracktive)

Depends on the plugin, of course. Many are cheaper in bundles. Like, I got Renaissance Maxx for 40$, that's 4$ per plugin. I could've upgraded to Platinum for around 70$ or so, that would've been less than 2$ per plugin.

Thenatan EVERYTHING IS NOW $5 ? 72 Hours Only?

In the end I did buy Tape Piano 2. Haven't spent much time with it yet, so I can't say much about it. I think you can get some nice sounds of it. But in the end it's still just a rompler. So, for 5$ I think it's okay. You can hardly get a soundbank for that money and if you have enough space on your hard drive, it can't hurt to get it. -
