  1. I have a colleague who has Halion. He is totally unaffected by GAS. He says he has everything he needs with Halion. I don't have a clue what Halion actually is and what it can do though.
  2. I just checked the current freebies that they have at Beat magazine. Here they are (you can choose one): So, if you think about getting the Zampler bundles, consider getting a Beat subscription instead. You'll not only get a cool magazine, but also all Zampler expansions, tons of GB of samples, and one of those great gifts of your choice. The Beat subscription for a year costs 89,80 € and is thereby more expensive than a Zampler bundle at APD, of course, but almost the same price as two bundles. (Link to subscription: https://www.falkemedia-shop.de/sound/beat/dauerbezug/jahresbezug?#premiums) Oh yes, I forgot to mention: Every month Beat magazine also has a nice freebie for its readers. Some better, some worse. Some of the full versions that I got from Beat magazine are D16 Nepheton, Waves Codex, Lifeline Expanse Lite, lots of stuff from IK Multimedia (a few Syntronik synths, Orchestral Percussion).
  3. I got ALL Zampler expansions with a Beat subscription. I don't know exactly how many I have but it must be over 130. The subscription doesn't just give me the printed issues and access to the downloads for those issues but I can download all back issues as well as the samples, workshop files, software and Zampler expansions for all issues. Plus, you can choose a great freebie with your subscription. I don't know what the current freebies are, but they've already had Shreddage Hydra and Phase Plant. Zampler is great, by the way. It was developed by Synapse Audio, the people behind Dune 3. The expansions are all of varying quality and quantity. Some have rather experimental sounds, some very usable, some have many, some less.
  4. Yes, they still sell the Sounds Download Reactivation Credit: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/index.php?Q=Credit&pkey=sounds-download-reactivation-credit
  5. Btw. I just found out that Synths DX has already been free a few years ago and for $3 a few months ago. So it's not even their best deal on that.
  6. Oh, wow, that's really bad. I've never heard of a company do that. Almost sounds illegal to me. Like, how are we supposed to know which coupons we may use and which we may not? If they have coupons that are only meant for certain people, they should program it in such a way that the coupon codes are personalized and only work with their accounts.
  7. https://vstalarm.com/product/weekend-fm-for-serum-by-patchmaker-limited-time-free/ I bought this as part of a bundle once. I really like many of the presets. It has 70 presets for Serum. Demo-Track:
  8. Any update on this? I can imagine that it's KONTAKT, because KONTAKT crashes my DAW a lot.
  9. Btw. you can find coupons for their shop on couponbirds.com. Some are even stackable.
  10. https://karanyisounds.com/shop-on-sale/ Up to 70% off according to their banner, but some are even reduced more, like Synths DX for $5 instead of $39. I have no idea how long their sale lasts.
  11. Thanks. Yes well, I guess it's not for me then. I'm actually middle-aged. I'm 50. Just into more modern music.
  12. I got Retromania at the intro price. I think it was $15. It's not bad, if you don't mind that it's a Rompler. All the presets are usable, very genre-typical sounds for Retrowave/Synthwave. There's also a free Lite version with less presets: https://www.audiolatry.com/retromania-lite/ YouTube demo of the full version: https://youtu.be/Bfuhl1DFRs4?si=YdvplMXOlo26SP7I
  13. It's one of the many products that I got with Total Studio 3.5 MAX. I didn't pay it much attention because that type of instrument sounds so old school to me, like it's got this 70ies TV quiz show background music vibe, I can't imagine it in a modern production. What kind of genres does one use it for? I see it's very popular here, so I guess I underestimated it's potential.
  14. Aren't they all a little early to celebrate 808 day? ? ADSR has plenty of 808-related offers: https://www.adsrsounds.com/software-developer/limited-time-bundle/ Like this little gem from Black Octopus, if you like buying sample packs: https://www.adsrsounds.com/product/presets/black-octopus-bundle-808-day-8-packs-for-8/ 8 packs for just €8.65. Probably among the cheapest items you can buy on ADSR to get the freebie.
  15. Now that I have the Everything Bundle I've only tested a tiny fraction of all the new presets, but so far I like quite a lot of the presets. I added almost every preset from Bluffmunkey's expansions for Synthmaster 1 to my favs. Big Tone's Analog Basics 1 and 2 for Synthmaster 2 has plenty of gems. So true. The demo tracks and descriptions give quite a good impression of the expansions, since they're only made of those presets, except for the drums usually. What I like about the expansion demo tracks that they have on Soundcloud is that quite a lot of them have the names of the presets that were used in the track comments, assigned to the track timeline where they're used. That's astonishingly little. Have you really tested all presets? After having read what you wrote I had another look at the factory presets and actually found quite a lot usable. There's a Soundcloud playlist and a YouTube playlist with demos of the factory presets that they've made for Synthmaster 2, with tracks demonstrating their use across various genres: Expansion playlist on Soundcloud for Synthmaster 2: Expansion playlist on Soundcloud for Synthmaster 1:
  16. $9.99 at thenatan.store with TAWUS999 But might still be worth getting it at ADSR Sounds for the Melda Production freebie.
  17. Oh. Of course. ? Seems so obvious, now that you mention it.
  18. But that's not even their best offer. I've got 24 of those plugins that are in the $29 list and have paid roughly $6.50 per plugin in average. It's best to wait for their Megasales, make use of dynamic discounts with 6 or more products, wait for their no-minimum spend vouchers.
  19. All the Samples is currently on sale for $59. You can get 10% off with the coupon code "SNACKS". If someone has one of those upgrade coupon codes and doesn't need it, I'd love to have it.
  20. Those prices are 70% off?! ? Money must be funny in a rich man's world.
  21. Crazy. I just realized that as an owner of Synthmaster 1 + 2 I could use the Upgrade to the Everything Bundle for $99 and with the coupon code YMLP10OFF I could even reduce it to $79.20. Holymoly. $79.20 for 52 expansions plus an upcoming new version of the synth and apparently also all future expansions, that's not bad, I would say.
