Damn, that's been on my wishlist for a while, and the price is sweet, but I've already spent too much ?

What's wrong with Guitar Rig? Why don't you like it?

iZotope Music Production Suite 6 is here - update from V5 for $41.16
audioschmaudio replied to ralfrobert's topic in Deals
On KnobCloud the admin posted "PLEASE! NO ongoing sales post". With no further explanation. Was it aimed at people who sell the new Izotope products? It seems they were all removed from KnobCloud. I've never seen that happen before. -
Plus you also get "Cinematic Drums Vol 2" free with any order at the moment. So with LD60 I just got "the BATTERY Kit Bundle" + "Cinematic Drums Vol 2" for $8. Nice ? But you have to be careful. The site kicked the coupon code out of my cart after logging in and I had to add it again.

Today (I think). Along with the other updates, Ozone 11 and Nectar 4. -
Is Loopmix worth getting? I know close to nothing about it. And what's the difference between Lite and full product? I'm tempted to buy something from Plugin Boutique to get it but I'm not sure if it's worth it. I like the other Lite versions from them that I have (Playbeat Lite and Chordjam Lite). They don't offer upgrades from the Lite to the full version, do they?

I think it's currently an intro-price, so that would make it a deal. There'll be a special offer in Japan, meant for Japanes people only, but maybe one can use it from abroad too: https://store.minet.jp/category/_PROMO_IZOTOPE2/ Translated by Google Chrome: -
Aren't they both exclusively for drums/percussion/beats? I bought Atlas a week ago and haven't used it much yet but I believe it filters out all long samples like loops and vocals and such. I don't think it's suited to be used as a general-purpose sample manager. Maybe ADSR Sample Manager or Waves Cosmos would be better for that.

Oh, I always used the HoRNet Downloader. Thanks for the tip, I'll download the individual zips now then.

Usynth Core Free with LoopCloud -two points.
audioschmaudio replied to Reid Rosefelt's topic in Deals
Nope. I only have two free months and I still got it. It's all within the same plugin host but you can only use the sounds from the versions that you've paid for (except for the free DRIVE, of course), or use the trial period. You have to download additional Usynth titles, can use them for 14 days and after those 14 days you have to buy it if you still want to use it. Here's a screenshot from within the plugin's Usynth title selector:- 1 reply

Holy moly. You win the dealio-award. ? How does one get a 50% off coupon?
-
True. I listened through the presets and after a while I felt silly marking my favorites because I felt like it would be easier to mark the ones that I don't like instead.
-
Damn, I didn't see that. When where how?!

I can relate. I have so many of HoRNet plugins but haven't even used most of them yet. Except for Multifreqs. That's super useful for visualizing the frequencies of multiple tracks at the same time to see where the frequencies clash together. And it's easy to use. I'd probably use more of my HoRNet plugins if they came with a manual. Instead they just have video tutorials. Better than nothing but I really prefer a proper manual.

In case anyone bought some u-he synth(s) and is new to u-he: They have plenty of free soundbanks in their Patchlib. It's easy to miss. They're a little hidden, because they're currently reworking their patchlib and you have to navigate to the old patchlib. There you can select your synth and will find plenty of soundbanks, most of which are free.
-
Well that's good news. I would have loved to get my Komplete Kontrol A49 but didn't really expect to receive it. But at least I can keep my u-he synths. Yay! ?
-
Really, it's a rompler? I always thought Usynths were softsynths with a user interface for dummies.
-
If you have an active Loopcloud plan or get one now you get Usynth Core for free. It's probably a generic code which will be found on some forum sooner or later, but I'm an honest guy. I think one month of Loopcloud isn't asking too much in return for a free Usynth.

Me neither. I hate this uncertainty. I guess they're discussing the issue with their legal department/attorney/lawyer and fear to make a public statement that could be held against them.

I'm no expert but I guess the point is to sell soundbanks. ? Besides, it does come with some free sounds and I think some of them sound quite nice.
-
Hive and Repro for 49€ each and Komplete Kontrol A49 for 66.67€. But I doubt that I'll receive the latter.
-
I've only bought Repro right now (because I already have Diva), so I haven't tested it yet but Diva has a much better reputation and is always listed as one of the top soft synths, so I would go with that. But as I said, it's very CPU hungry. An issue that I underestimated when I bought it. I can only use very few instances at the same time without getting performance problems.
