  1. I've got Native Instruments Komplete, but from what I'm finding out, it's not really compete! They are missing tons of unusual instruments, or the instruments don't sound good enough. Sampletank seems to be along the same thing?
  2. I somehow over looked your suggested banjo. I'll have to look at it! Some recommended instruments like guitar and drums, I don't need as I have more than plenty. It's the really odd instruments that nobody really uses goes into the kind of Western type of music I'm working on. I'll let you listen to a shorten version of what I'm working on... it's a unlisted link. It's only 1 minute and 47 seconds. It's a Collab between me and Unfinished Songs. It's not listed yet, but I think it's okay for this forum. Try to keep it on the down low. https://youtu.be/MDDP8393rco?si=KutEaTmPvGMRi_Fk You can tell how it needs more instruments to build it up some more. I'll have to see about adding different instruments and I'll even give y'all a link of an update. I've added a church bell to my most recent version, but it doesn't sound right. I'm still looking for a great church bell (not bells); but a single strike of a large church bell (not bong). I think it would help this song. I plan to release my instrumental versions to the Unfinished Songs members only after I've completed the song. Please post your thoughts here and not on the YouTube
  3. Wow! You've scored me two great instruments That awesome Honky tonk harmonica! Thank you so much for showing that great find! That banjo, will have to add that too!
  4. Nice, Bucket bass and washboard! I didn't even think of those! Thanks!
  5. Loopcloud doesn't have Western genre based sounds I'm looking for.. I've checked their sound library online.
  6. Don't get Western mixed up with Country. It happens allot! You know, church bell, piano, trumpet, horse, whistling, harmonica, cow bell, ticking clock, whip, banjo, gravel being smashed, fist hitting wall, etc.
  7. If you've got Melodyne, you can already do this. Just put your audio file into Melodyne, export it as a midi file, drop the midi file into a instrument track, and there you go!
  8. Urmm... I'm waiting on the sale for Blue Cat's PatchWork or Blue Cat's Plug'n Script, but more leaning towards PatchWork. ?
  9. Oddly the most used plugin from Melda I use is MUtility and it's free
  10. It's in sale for $55.99 at Guitar Center https://www.guitarcenter.com/Mitchell/MU40C-Concert-Ukulele-Natural-1500000035679.gc?storeCode=&source=4WWRWXGL

  12. Does anyone have Focusrite drivers working in Debian Linux?
  13. Curious if cclarry's account was hacked?
  14. Install it on VMware Virtual machine with Windows on it.. then you could copy the snapshot to any computer and it's "sandboxed" inside a virtual machine!
  15. If they would just make it easier on the eyes, it would be less of a headache to learn. ???
  16. Plugin creators can create any price they want for plugins... I'm thinking of getting Blue Cat's Plug-in Script, creating plugins like HorNet does for a low price, and run with my ideas on new ideas that people haven't yet created. Or I was thinking of hunkering down, using Delphi and building mine from scratch. There's a GitHub of a Delphi wrapper I forked https://github.com/War3Evo/RMSVST3 I was playing with that VST wrapper, which currently only example is how to create a instrument and not an audio effect. I also forked CLAP https://github.com/War3Evo/CLAP-for-Delphi Which, I have not tested yet. I have just been wanting to create plugins, but haven't given myself enough push to do it. The main issue I'll have is, in order to create Apple/Mac plugins, I'll have to own a Mac/Apple computer to compile it on. Delphi would do it, but still requires I own that. So, I could write one code and create Apple/Mac, Linux, and Windows plugins using Delphi 11 Enterprise. Anyhow, would creating new plugins be worth the effort or ?? What's your opinion?
  17. 2 years ain't that long..
  18. I don't like to throw all my eggs in one basket. That's why I don't do subscription plans with Audio based programs or plugins. So I avoid Waves Audio subscription, Pro Tools subscription, Adobe Subscription (music videos) I use outdated adobe software, or anything else subscription. I have given thought to subscribe to Loopcloud for the TimeShaper plugin, but in the end...it's the subscription that kills the deal for me! OFF TOPIC: I was using Reaper for about 6 months, and I've recently updated Cakewalk and switched back. I like how much more productive I am when I use Cakewalk vs Reaper. Plus, Pwr-3 makes Cakewalk audio files sound better than Reaper for my genres. On my HS5s, when I dither a file from 96khz-24bit to 48khz-16bit, the file is more transparent with Cakewalk than with Reaper. The dithering for Cakewalk sounds more true to the original file vs Reaper's dithering ability. The most important feature is the ability of Cakewalk turning a clip into a tempo map convenient! Which is being able to drag the audio clip up until it turns blue then release it. Cakewalk will start Melodyne which will analyze your clip for a tempo map and sets the tempo map for Cakewalk based on that clip. That's time saving. *** In Reaper, I would have to open up Melodyne Studio, drag in the file, let it analyze, export the tempo map, open Reaper, drag and drop the tempo map. *** Cakewalk just makes this a no brainer, easier and more productive.
  19. I just don't get why all the fuss about Tape plugins.
  20. Even though for complex chords it's not accurate, I'll still use it whenever I don't want to break out Celemony Melodyne for quick reference!
  21. Any discount for Komplete owners?
  22. White Sea Studio says "Better than Fabfilter?"
  23. Did that deal include TimeShaper 3? ... Cause that's my main interest in loopcloud. LoL
  24. Saverio is practically God here on these forums All plugin developers should strive to create plugins at reasonable prices like he does with good solid updating.
