I'm trying to decide something.... Nuemann NDH 20 - 150 ohm (will keep my old Scarlett Solo Gen 3 because it can handle up to 200 ohms) ... OR ... Beyerdynamics DT 770 250 ohm with Scarlett Solo Gen 4 (which can handle up to 300 ohms) upgrade?

Cableguys Shaperbox / Bundle products don't ever go on sale... lol. Just waiting on UVI Shade to go on sale.... Unless Cableguys surprises us! Let the best one win!
-
I like a lot of HorNet plugins, but mainly for GAS. I hardly use any of them in actual songs, except for the Normalizer.
-
I thought about buying UVI Shade instead of Shaperbox.... but going to wait to see what happens on Black Friday (unless either goes on sale before then at a really really low price :P)

I've got other plugins made by W.A. Production, but since their plugins don't seem to be well polished, I never have used them in any song I've produced. Their plugins tend to be not really "good" or "quality" sounding and sounds usually like they are missing audio within the audio. It's just poorly made plugins, not even worth "free".

The 4th gen supposedly can handle Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 ohm ohm now!

KRK GoAux 4 is less expensive for their automatic acoustic adjustment.

M-Audio AIR 192|6 USB-C Audio Interface for $69

I've seen this stupid deal twice this year. I wonder if that's the price that musician's friend buys it for? I'm also curious if that one can operate Neumann NDH 20 headphones without a headphone amplifier? -
Mastering The Mix Manufacturer Focus Sale (Exclusive)
GTsongwriter replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
LoL... If Reso or any of his other higher priced plugins reach the $20 mark would I consider buying. I've tried them out, and decided it's nice, but I've found work arounds that makes his plugins just nice and not a need. -
Nope. I just logged into everplugin and they don't say anywhere "Spend $50 get a select plugin of your choice free".

Is the free plugin Waves Plugins only or any they have?
-
Actually the subscription option is what keeps me from buying Plugins. I keep telling myself, no need to buy them. If I ever need any, just get a 1 month subscription. Then I never do it. So, I end up saving money because I talk myself out of it, Thanks to the subscription option!

You know, the best Waves Audio Sales is when plugins add up to be $20 or less. This sale is that sale. $60 you spend actually gets you 3 plugins = 60 / 3 = $20 per plugin. I've never seen it less than $20 per plugin unless they give it away free. Even the buy 2 get 2 free added up to be $20 per plugin. Anyone ever see it it for less?

Looks neat, but I've already got a multiband splitter with parallel processing abilities that I can use with any number of plugins. So, multiband / parallel features of plugins are a thing of the past. Now I just look for single use plugins instead of those offering parallel/ multiband features... Thanks to Waves Audio for Studio Rack

If you wait for the sale... You could get 7 of the best plugins from https://unitedplugins.com/UnitedUrbanBundle/ for $99!

? HoRNet MultiFreqs version 1.1.5 Update Now Available!
GTsongwriter replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
oh I thought they might have updated it so that it would show conflicts in Total EQ... I guess that will never happen -
So, I had a discussion via comments on Emily Bowie's channel about her Mastering video about my saying that music sounds better if it's LOUDER and she disagrees. So, maybe I didn't explain it correctly in the comments section OR maybe I am wrong altogether?? Please join the comments section to help explain to this "mastering engineer" about loudness perception can be misleading you into thinking something sounds better. She also doesn't believe in A/B ing tracks normalized while using EQ. Is this opinions or anyone know of any research that can be referenced in this subject? Any of your help, big or small, will be thanked!

There's like thousands and thousands of places selling acoustic panels. I want to be able to deafen any outside noise from entering my home studio room and any music to escape this room. If you have experience in this area, your knowledge will be much appreciated!

It says amp. I've already got Guitar Pro, so I don't need that.

I was mainly using Omni Channel for the De-essers, but after I learned how to use a combination of Renaissance plugins to create my own De-esser, I no longer feel the need to buy it. The combination was using a EQ to find the frequency of the Esses on a duplicate track and feed it into a compressor on the side chain of actual track that would lower the volume of the Essing when ever it happens. Also, what's stopping me from buying is that if there's ever a need for a few of their plugins, I could always just buy the subscription for that month instead of spending a hundreds of dollars or so. The Clarity products are my reasons for that. Clarity VX De-Reverb Pro is the best of all products I've tried so far. If I ever need to use it, I'll just buy subscription for that month instead of paying for it. It's rare of I ever need it... I end up talking myself out of buying anything because if I really need anything, I could buy subscription, but end up finding a alternative method. If they ever lowered the price of their Clarity PRO products to $29 and began thier $29 dollar events, I would be probably buying Plugins again. Placing products out of my reach has pretty much halted my buying power. I have to watch every dollar I spend.

There's people still using windows 7 and XP that I know of. Even if support ends for those systems doesn't make them useless. If your afraid to use the internet after support ends, get yourself a Raspberry PI zero, set it up as a internet firewall and put it between your old computer and the internet for protection.

Sonible Smart: Sale and Release of Smart: Gate
GTsongwriter replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I've not used gates (that I know of)... What's the usefulness of a gate?
