  1. Despite my earlier saying.. I downloaded it, and I'll test it.. I used smart reverb 1 when I had an older computer running on Windows 10... I now run on Windows 11 pro.. so bugs may be gone.. If it's better, I'll let y'all know.. I've got to July 17 before they raise the price for me from $29 to $129..I think.
  2. The first one was so buggy, I had stopped using it.. I can't imagine a 2nd buggy reverb tool. Sonible makes great Smart EQ and Smart Limiter plugins, but all the other plugins I've felt that was pretty buggy.. So more or less I stopped buying from them.. I got smart EQ4 and smart limiter.. and that's all I needed. Smart EQ4 is still buggy, So when I have a project that I don't need it to crash.. I use my smart EQ3.
  3. Even with a discount like that, it's too expensive, while I have many other plugins that can do the same thing... Only if they had a version for the hobbyist guy.. the ones whom don't make money from music, but with a clause that says if you make $5000 or more from music within a year, you'll be required to buy a PRO license.
  4. Instead of sound ID.. Vocoflex.. and basically have unlimited voices, because vocoflex let's you create a unlimited number of voices ... if you use it with synthesizer V, you can then Have the singer sing how you want. I just bought the bundle for $249. I don't have to sing anymore.. I can now just type in words and put them on a scale with midi... It's totally offline after you register it online.. worth it to me. Edit: I just give vocoflex about 10-20 seconds of me singing.. different songs sources.. and then use this little circle. Did I move in between each to find how I would sound best.. and then it blends all my voice samples to make me sound better. I guess the only kicker is you're going to have to send in your government photo ID for thier KYC company thing to try and prevent abuse of this kind of software.. It is very powerful.. You could practically take any sound from anyone and have them sing how you want.. but they do this photo ID to prevent you from doing that because they embed it into the sound somehow..
  5. Nice to know.. I guess if I need higher or lower pitch, I can already use a pitch tool like Waves Vocal Bender or Celemony Melodyne that can do the trick.. I bought Melodyne before it separated into multiple different products at much higher prices... So I ended up owning it forever as they progressed into the Studio edition..
  6. Yeah... Someone in this thread reminded me that I shouldn't really go for the best, and instead think that do I really want.. So I asked myself, who's my audience, and the answer was of simplicity, and not the best. Eventually I'll come back to this thread.. and I will buy One of these other ones that are better than Electric Storm.. But for now it will do the job. So your post isn't for nothing.. It's just delayed.. and I'll be back to buy another..
  7. Overall... Whom will actually listen to this vs whom will be critical of it? That’s the thing no one really answered.. maybe they don’t want to.. or maybe they just assume the ones listening are the same ones judging.. but they’re not.. not really.. i understand Hydra’s more powerful.. more real to the ones who know the difference.. more layers.. more mapping.. more everything.. but if i bought that.. knowing how i work.. it would just sit there until i had the motivation to learn it.. and even then.. i’d likely still use the patterns if it had them.. just like the others i’ve bought plugins before that promised full control.. and after a while.. the only plugins i actually used was the one that got me there fast.. cause when i’m in the zone.. i’m not thinking about articulation sets.. i’m thinking about whether it sounds like it means something.. whether it hits right in the moment it plays Most of my listeners.. they don’t even stop to think if it’s real or not.. they hear the song and either feel it.. or they don’t.. only a few people can really tell if it’s sampled or played.. and even fewer of those actually care unless they’re grading it So yeah.. I’m picking Electric Storm.. not cause it’s the most true-to-life thing.. but because i can finish something with it.. I can get it out, ready it quickly, and create something fast.. and that matters more to me than if the pinch harmonic bends just right under scrutiny I want something that reaches ears.. not something that waits for perfection and never leaves the DAW..
  8. I personally dont have a ton of time to "dig-in" and learn a whole instrument... I guess I could find midi files to buy of pre-made metal guitar playing and get Hyrda.. although.. right now it's not on any sale price that would make me think.. yeah.. let's get that.. although Electric Storm is in the price range of ... maybe.. if it was less, then maybe yes... plus I've seen you can actually drop the midi files into the DAW and further edit them... I watched the walkthru video for Electric Storm and seen you can do quite a bit more than people realize.. not as much as Hydra, but just enough to make it sound more real.. I wouldn't need to spend many hours with Electric Storm and I think that is the whole reason of it.. I've bought instruments that have a complex huge flexibility, but they end up not being used... and I will often find something I can just throw on and use immediately with out much effort.. Overall.. .still looking.. but at the same time, I hate to miss a deal and wonder.. why I never picked it up when it was on a good sale..
  9. You probably right there.. I guess if I wanted to save money, I could "Youtube" find someone and post a question.. maybe have them join Bandlab to play against a song ... or suggestions? The only bad thing about using Bandlab to find people is all you get is a majority of Hip-Hop Artists.. it's really hard to find any other genre other than Hip-Hop.
  10. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=heavier7strings+requires+ilok Edit: I guess if I really want to know.. I can send them a email.
  11. I would have, but I'm on a new computer and I have gotten rid of any plugins that required ilok for my new computer... i will for now on avoid all plugins that require ilok... and i found out that heavier7strings requires ilok. So I won't be putting money on that.
  12. Is electric storm worth getting versus Hydra shredded 3? My price that they have listed is $99 vs $149 regular..
  13. I’m considering using Blue Cat’s Plug’n Script for development and was wondering if it’s permitted to sell VST/AU/AAX plug-ins created with it commercially. I didn’t see any specific mention of this in the documentation or FAQ. Are there any restrictions or licensing requirements for commercial distribution of exported plug-ins made with Plug’n Script? Thanks in advance for the clarification!
  14. Not the lowest prices I've seen for the plugins I've bought... Although, thanks for the heads up.
  15. If you miss this deal, you can still get it cheapest... https://store.dontcrack.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=Blue+cat&x=0&y=0 Blue cats original website usually never gets less than that.
  16. Melda Productions... I believe version 16.09 is the last of their old installers.
  17. Liked thier plugins until they switched installers which trigger https://www.virustotal.com repeatedly.
  18. SoundID VoiceAI requires you be online the entire time to use it and there's no offline mode. So, nope. I only buy plugins that doesn't require to be always online, cause you know one day they might not exist anymore and you'll be stuck with a plugin that no longer works.
  19. Just use the code HP87WS at checkout https://www.hornetplugins.com/ If you don't own these, I highly recommend them: HA2A: https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-ha2a/ H76: https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-h76/ HarmoniQ: https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-harmoniq/ TheNormalizer: https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-thenormalizer/ AutoGain Pro MK2: https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-autogain-pro-mk2/ These plugins from HorNet Plugins is my go to plugins for a variety of music that I work on. I personally feel they are the best of what HorNet has to offer. I've recently bought some new plugins from HorNet and they may also become my go to plugins list.
