  3. Does anyone have Focusrite drivers working in Debian Linux?
  4. Install it on VMware Virtual machine with Windows on it.. then you could copy the snapshot to any computer and it's "sandboxed" inside a virtual machine!
  5. If they would just make it easier on the eyes, it would be less of a headache to learn. ???
  6. Plugin creators can create any price they want for plugins... I'm thinking of getting Blue Cat's Plug-in Script, creating plugins like HorNet does for a low price, and run with my ideas on new ideas that people haven't yet created. Or I was thinking of hunkering down, using Delphi and building mine from scratch. There's a GitHub of a Delphi wrapper I forked https://github.com/War3Evo/RMSVST3 I was playing with that VST wrapper, which currently only example is how to create a instrument and not an audio effect. I also forked CLAP https://github.com/War3Evo/CLAP-for-Delphi Which, I have not tested yet. I have just been wanting to create plugins, but haven't given myself enough push to do it. The main issue I'll have is, in order to create Apple/Mac plugins, I'll have to own a Mac/Apple computer to compile it on. Delphi would do it, but still requires I own that. So, I could write one code and create Apple/Mac, Linux, and Windows plugins using Delphi 11 Enterprise. Anyhow, would creating new plugins be worth the effort or ?? What's your opinion?
  7. I don't like to throw all my eggs in one basket. That's why I don't do subscription plans with Audio based programs or plugins. So I avoid Waves Audio subscription, Pro Tools subscription, Adobe Subscription (music videos) I use outdated adobe software, or anything else subscription. I have given thought to subscribe to Loopcloud for the TimeShaper plugin, but in the end...it's the subscription that kills the deal for me! OFF TOPIC: I was using Reaper for about 6 months, and I've recently updated Cakewalk and switched back. I like how much more productive I am when I use Cakewalk vs Reaper. Plus, Pwr-3 makes Cakewalk audio files sound better than Reaper for my genres. On my HS5s, when I dither a file from 96khz-24bit to 48khz-16bit, the file is more transparent with Cakewalk than with Reaper. The dithering for Cakewalk sounds more true to the original file vs Reaper's dithering ability. The most important feature is the ability of Cakewalk turning a clip into a tempo map convenient! Which is being able to drag the audio clip up until it turns blue then release it. Cakewalk will start Melodyne which will analyze your clip for a tempo map and sets the tempo map for Cakewalk based on that clip. That's time saving. *** In Reaper, I would have to open up Melodyne Studio, drag in the file, let it analyze, export the tempo map, open Reaper, drag and drop the tempo map. *** Cakewalk just makes this a no brainer, easier and more productive.
  8. I just don't get why all the fuss about Tape plugins.
  9. Even though for complex chords it's not accurate, I'll still use it whenever I don't want to break out Celemony Melodyne for quick reference!
  10. White Sea Studio says "Better than Fabfilter?"
  11. Did that deal include TimeShaper 3? ... Cause that's my main interest in loopcloud. LoL
  12. Saverio is practically God here on these forums All plugin developers should strive to create plugins at reasonable prices like he does with good solid updating.
  13. I was debating on getting a subscription to get the TimeShaper 3 plugin in loopcloud. Any advice? Audio plugin guy has a deals section I was browsing weeks ago and never closed the page.
  14. I got that plugin for $10. It's horrible. It's blue theme makes it hard to read the screen. It's complicated like hell and back. It's usefulness is zero. I've played with it..I can't think of any reason some poor soul even bought it for $200 at one time!
  15. It's no biggie. I don't see myself needing that type of plugin. So, I'll not be getting it.
  16. Yes it's horribly slow! Since they've added that "DDOS protection website" they've gotten extremely slow.
  17. Hornet's website is so so so slow for since unknown reason nowadays?? Why I'm the world are they so slow when it used to be fast? I don't see any use of the ThirtyOne. I do use the TheNormalizer a lot. I used to use AutogGain Pro until I bought HA2A then I starting using it and wow! It's a great plugin! So, I continue to use it instead of AutoGain Pro to level certain tracks that are giving me a hard time with erratic volume spikes and dips. I'll sometimes use Total EQ for "band specific" listening / side chaining. Special occasions where I'm not really EQing but doing neat stuff. I've got Harmonics Pro, and I've tried really hard to use it on multiple tracks to change sound, but I just can't seem to find a place for its use. I was going to continue this conversation wife browsing the HorNet website, but it's awfully slow that I can't get to the next page to remind myself of any other plugins I use ..LoL!
  18. My controls look different: Although, with the help pop-up .. it says " interleave = stereo" and press that, it says " interleave = mono" If I turn on track mono, instead of using MUtility, I have to turn down the input volume by -8.0 using TUBE on the PRE Prochannel... some reason turning interleave into mono increases track volume. The native plugins will probably do better than the non-native plugins. So I'll use interleave mono instead of the other way!
  19. I will definitely try it out... first I'm going to put all my electronics into my EMP shelter for this evening's 2pm - 4pm Presidential alert.. Then I'll try it out. See y'all in a couple of hours.
