Not Liking the look of the New Sonar Interface

Make no doubt, compliments are preferred, right or wrong. That doesn't mean they are the only form of legal tender though. -

Am I reading the “tea leaves” right? (Sonar Activation)

@Hillmy, I think I am catching on, could you just explain what you mean in the last post from 'Oh,' on wards? -

Amen Will Kaydo ? -
and to think I had to have my content moderated for 2 weeks or so, twice, because of very angry geeky individuals needing acknowledgment.

I would agree that that is the most likely scenario. I can tell from your tea leaves that there is nothing but tea in your cup (maybe a bit of sugar and milk, but . . . ) and that you are drinking them, not smoking them. I couldn't gel with the idea that they would just make you pay again for what you had already paid for and were in the process of using. (although some may bring up Lif. . . . . , well you know what they might bring up) -

Either I'm reading what you are saying there wrong, or they be some truly spun, waked out tea leaves you got there, where can I get me some? -

You know how they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, well to this beholder, and no offense intended, we are talking about Computer Software GUI, not pic's of your wife or mother in their wedding dress, that 'Dark' version is magnitudes better than that 'Light' abomination above, having said that both of them make REAPER, heretofore the fugliest DAW known to man look like a thing of beauty. Remember this is from the eye of this beholder, YMMV, IMO and all that. This is why I asked for perhaps someone make a 'Screenshot' thread earlier on, as I have seen things like this posted before somewhere. Surely there must be other themes that don't look anything like this, I have seen shots claiming to be from Sonar somewhere, but I have no way of knowing as I don't have it installed, and won't do so up until something grabs me enough, and not necessarily aesthetically wise, to install it on one of my test machines. But I could not bring myself to look at something like that day in day out. Again, in the eye of this beholder, no offense intended, YMMV, IMO, and all that, talking about Computer Software GUI not pic's of your wife or mother in their wedding dress. -
Activation issue-LOST over an hour of work :-(
Heath Row replied to Pathfinder's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I apologize if you think I was taking things as "a big fricken joke" I guess I should have just used text instead, but I assure you I wasn't making fun or any such, I was serious about the folly of placing such feelings/emotions in an internet forum and it's inhabitants, least of all the Cakewalk Forums and it's inhabitants, I've been around in the old forum days and am familiar with those 2 inhabitants you mention. So again my apologies ? As for your ailments, I to have multiple ailments and have spoken multiple times on these very forums regarding the heavy pain medication I must take to be able to function even remotely pain free, and the side affects that come with that like involuntary movements of things like arms, hands and digits, which as primarily a guitarist make things challenging to say the least, not to mention simple things like typing on the keyboard or phone or any other thing that requires any amount of accuracy with your fingers. So I certainly wouldn't make fun or joke of your conditions. You can check back through my post history to find that I have indeed spoke of these things. So they have come to visit me, maybe not in the same manner, but visit none the less. Anyway, again my apologies good sir. ? -
Excellent once again, justice certainly done ? All the best with your issues ?

^^^ That's it It's more so a workaround for a bug which IK are aware of but seemingly don't want to or can't for whatever reason fix.

I actually find them to be generally exactly the same, going by the readout in Studio One it has them exactly the same percentage number of CPU. After you do the little routing trick in Amplitube 5 it cuts its CPU usage in half, all thanks to Zo for discovering it.

Not Liking the look of the New Sonar Interface
Heath Row replied to mark foster's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Welcome to the club, the exact setup I use on my test machines, which were my previous main machines. If I decide to give Sonar a run after evaluating all the feedback etc (in no hurry) that's the setup I'll be running it on. -
Sonnox ? Save £70 on Sonnox Claro EQ Plugin - Sale Starts Now! ?
Heath Row replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Oh dear ?, give Claro a bit of love and use and you may find it's not as bad as you think. I've had it since release and it's still on the regular rotation, I quite like it. Dude up there ^^^ if you can still get it for that price, even more so if you can get it for the $9 someone said, go man go. -
and hence "at least for the user" ?
-
I think you'd be on to a winner there, at least for the user.
