New Wide Monitor - Many Problems - SOLVED
RobertWS replied to Sailor55's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Oh...the dreaded 'I' word. Been there, hated that. -
I was mucking around in my old archives and pulled this out....circa 2003. Reed into that what you will!
-
Forget that. What is needed are black lights! Because, as everyone knows, black lights matter.
-
Also, depending upon the pitch-wheel, how it's setup and how steady your hand is, you might not get to exactly the note your were aiming for. You can use the event list to fine tune the start and stop frequencies:

CreativeSauce Cakewalk articulation maps vid
RobertWS replied to Steve Harder's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Great tutorial. No fluff, just useful information. -
Perhaps it was a 3rd party add-in that gave the message.

If you plan on sitting in that chair and playing guitar...the arms have to come off!

I wish public schools taught the students how to right write. -
The specifications for legal ballots are spelled out in law. Problems arise when people ignore the laws.
-
My fervent hope is that all the legal ballots are counted and the illegal ones tossed. Who on earth could have a problem with that?

Count the stops: Stop, Stop, Stop, Stop, Stop......FIVE! Oops, maybe I have ysdlexia.

No. Because.... 1) If you don't need or want it, why have it taking up space in the program? 2) There are plugins that do what you want...and you can pick and choose the one with the features you want...like the one mentioned here:

Hi Hat Randomly Opening and Closing in Midi Track
RobertWS replied to Scott Kendrick's topic in Instruments & Effects
That would be a great feature....perhaps you could suggest it....I know there's a place to do that somewhere on this site! (Filter/Select events by time range, text search, controller number, etc.) -
Hi Hat Randomly Opening and Closing in Midi Track
RobertWS replied to Scott Kendrick's topic in Instruments & Effects
You could look in the event list (Views, Event List). BTW: Open Hi-Hat and Close Hi-Hat are different 'notes' on the piano roll. -
Greatest time to be alive ever! (Unless you've got your head up your....)

How to shorten drum midi notes in PRV?
RobertWS replied to user390096's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
And you're not limited to one note, you can select a bunch and apply the change. -
Cannot Hear Recorded Guitar Track with TH3 Effects
RobertWS replied to Donal McCarron's topic in Instruments & Effects
That is not the Master Bus. That is probably your guitar track and it is being routed to the Master bus. See the O in front of the word Master? (Output: Master Bus). Maybe you don't have a Master bus or need to scroll it into view. You could try changing that output to one of the other available outputs. -

It is being routed to the Master bus. Does the Master bus have it's volume up, not muted and routed to the desired output? You can find the controls in the Console view. -
On the upside, a drum machine never shows up late and drunk. So there's that.

The "Cars for Kids" song. And every commercial jingle ever written.

I can't think of a good rejoinder. I'll circle around and get back to you.

"You may not be aware..." My postulation was spot on! -
SoundFonts... menu option, Version Control & Latency

You will let them? You may not be aware of this, but you come off as intolerably arrogant and condescending. And trust me, there is no reason for you to be either! Perhaps you should google Soundfonts. You might learn things you don't know.
