Close! It was actually a large concrete dome building that is put mostly underground. Part of a much larger custom house plan, the lowest level had a full bar next to a full recording studio (set up so a partition could be opened for a band to play towards the bar from the studio). Lots of other features (including a glass elevator that goes all the way from the lowest level to a cupola above the dome - a total of four stories!). Hindsight being 20/20, I really regret not making it now...

They and that one I found through them (the Wagakki Band) both! These guys live up to their nickname the Japanese Black Sabbath! You gotta love Mr. Miyagi (the Karate Shredder Master) on guitar too! ? Not sure about those lyric translations though... "My unclean bowels are devoured by my soon-to-be-dead mother???" (0:41) Um, what?! ?

Well, I like it! Being able to create a dome you could be inside of was exactly why I originally got Blender (long story there!).

This video is like two bands in one (heck, maybe it is? I didn't try to translate...) While the "traditional" instrument stuff is interesting, the song starting around 2:55 is WAAAAAAY more my style! All three are very, very good and I could listen to this stuff for hours. Oh, and a T-Girl warning for all you guys! Yep, the bass player is actually a guy. ?

I'm very impressed with the guitarist! Such clean playing. (The eye-candy is nice too!?)

Wow, was just reading more about them (been around since 1987 and I've never heard of them before today - good job Kenny!). Turns out, their guitarist, Shinji Wajima, who looks about 70, is actually younger than me at 54! Heck, the bass player, whose name is Ken-ichi Suzuki (which means "the Great Yellow Bapu" in Japanese?), is also 54... Both have been with the band since the start, but they've gone through four drummers (Spinal Tap anyone?).
