  1. Does anyone happen to know if Synth Drums is included in any of their other sample packs apart from complete, or with their drum machines, like Triaz, Drumvolution, etc?
  2. That's interesting.. I didn't know that. I had assumed duplicates from them too. Not that they would be worth much even if UA changes it's policy and allows us to sell them, but I do prefer having the duplicates anyway just in case.
  3. Yeah definitely can't blame them at all. UA stuffed up and they were caught in the middle. Glad to hear it worked out even better for ya ?
  4. Nah I'm all good, I tested it on myself and made sure it worked before posting this deal and got my keys in seconds too. More so just if UA tries to reverse it for not owing Diamond.
  5. Well hopefully mine went through early enough, because otherwise they only sent me a crappy $50 coupon to upgrade to Producer which is a hard pass! I took screenshots of the product listing saying ANY bundle, so I'd still challenge it. Afterall, it was UAs terrible handling of the situation that caused people to go that route. It might be a little more grey for anyone that didn't own A bundle at all prior, but even still I reckon a lot will get to keep them if they moved quick by the sounds.
  6. It was the AudioDeluxe one at the time. Plugin Discounts were still up. I did see someone placed an order at AudioDeluxe afterwards, so they might have needed to check/refresh keys or something Kal. Looks like they pulled them both for now though!
  7. That link doesn't work now, it's access denied.. I wonder if they ran out of keys.
  8. I have been having a suspicion they're going to be part of Soundwide / Native Instruments.
  9. I did wonder that and it all works to upgrade. The wording is the same across both sites, that it's a crossgrade from any bundle. Likely they meant Diamond and Mix as they already said they were excluding Essentials from custom vouchers and same with Creative. They may update the wording on the pages, but I think they likely pulled this as their helpdesk was going into meltdown with everyone requesting upgrade pricing. Hard to know with UA these days though! Haha...
  10. I do not believe so.. pretty safe to say they have officially left the building ?
  11. Ooops.. at least if they're complaining about no presents you can add some nice delay, reverb and vintage mojo to the voice ?
  12. I don't want to sway you either way just in case, but at best I'd imagine it's the same.
  13. Universal Audio UAD Signature Edition Crossgrade from any other UAD Bundle for $150 Special Crossgrade Offer for owners of any other UAD Bundle Electronic Delivery Sale $150.00 RRP $599.00| Earn $7.50 DeluxeBucks on this product Also get FREE UVI Digital Synsations Vol.1 free with order https://www.audiodeluxe.com/products/audio-plugins/universal-audio-uad-signature-edition-crossgrade-any-other-uad-bundle (Note: apparently it will work without any bundle either, but I haven't tried that personally ?) Works out pretty similar really, as you don't get DeluxeBucks back or the freebie (but we all have that many times over!), but slightly cheaper here now: $142.50 https://plugindiscounts.com/product/universal-audio-uad-signature-edition-crossgrade-from-any-uad-bundle/
  14. I love mixing in Harrison and totally worth it for that alone. Reaper is probably better for MIDI/VST instruments though in that price range. I prefer Cubase, but Reaper is a damn good price!
  15. UA has become totally uninteresting for now and I may even unsubscribe for a bit until they work out decent offers for existing customers based on what you own. UA is in the bottom of my Black Friday sales for now.
  16. I may regret it, as if they do integrate, or bundle SSL, I might end up paying more, but I have been thinking of waiting to see what happens there, so maybe V10 for me. Thanks for sharing the link for the discount though ?
  17. I love some of their stuff... but damn that sounds expensive for it! Haha..
  18. Yep, they do tend to do the really cheap bundle with the basic version. I have considered buying it one time for the plugins more, as they work in 32C which I own and it's cheaper than buying them individually. A couple of them I really like too. Simple, but very good. I don't think SSL will, but it's always hard to know for sure. I can more imagine them having SSL bundles and also integrating some of them natively inside Mixbus, which would be really good if it panned out that way (and the price wasn't absurdly high) With Harrison, everything seems like it's slowly being migrated across to the SSL store.. they did have some bumps though.. I could redeem the iLok version of Mastering EQ for free, but at first it never sent the license to my iLok. It's working now though.
  19. These videos almost always get misquoted and people bring them up and say they apply to the DAW, so you're definitely not alone ? Always pays to think twice, or be suspicious of anything 95% off. Even though in audio, for some stupid reason it's so prevalent so it's a minefield at times! Nice work with posting so many deals too!
  20. These videos aren't really relevant to the DAW, or the included XT plugins, more the separate channel strip to be used in other DAWs. The saturation isn't from the channel strip in this DAW, it was (when those videos were made) in the busses and you could dial in drive. I believe they've added drive to the channels in Mix bus V9 which is good, as sometimes if I was stem mixing, I'd route each stem to a buss, purely for the colour. Dan's great, but this video was quite possibly the worst he's ever made and he omitted so many of the most important parts. Good for clicks though, so I can see why. Personally I don't rate the plugin in the video, or the other buss one, but the DAW has some really nice color ?
  21. I still like this one and that's insanely good value ?
  22. For me I can see why they might not like it, but I don't think they completely take into account the full picture. I like throwing in some orchestral sounds into other genres and I'm not a composer that works in the orchestral space, so at this stage there is zero chance of me forking out $500+ on a lot of those libraries. By making the pricing more accessible it opens up a new market and new customers that otherwise wouldn't have bought from them. Realistically with Komplete Ultimate, IKM Philharmonik 2 and then some individual libraries that were either free, or heavily discounted, it makes it even harder to justify some of the higher priced libraries, even though for sure they will be better than what I have. Sometimes I like using the orchestral sounds just for fun, not even for a track, so it's more of an indulgence. These prices from 8DIO and some of the other more discounted libraries make that pure indulgence easier to justify and they get sales they wouldn't have had. But now I'm really not sure what the best choices would be out of these, as there are a couple of really interesting looking bundles! I tend towards using strings and brass more personally... any recommendations?
  23. That actually looks really good. Kirchhoff is an impressive EQ, so I would not at all be surprised if this was great too.
  24. Wow.. that's a huge improvement.. nice timing right for Black Friday sales.. they're probably going to sell a bunch more now as that was definitely stopping people.
  25. Not sure if it still works, but I was able to get Gullfoss for about $74 US in their last sale by paying in Chilean Pesos.
