Skipping it this round again and might consider V Collection 10 when it comes out. My upgrade offer is $149 for V Collection, so nothing special so I might as well leave it until the new release.. or never.. lots in there, but I have plenty of alternatives to keep me happy. I didn't find the previous plugins from them to be too special, but I still claim these just in case something turns out to be good. I don't even install them these days so hopefully someone posts if they really like one of them!

I had it in my cart and was checking out some reviews and then saw your comment. $299 for Musio 1 seems like a better choice considering everything it includes. Almost seems like there's a catch I'm missing.. This would still have been a great buy though!

I think in some way they've singlehandedly managed to make every customer segment, new and old feel screwed all at once.. it's really quite the achievement ? They have fixed the problems of existing users not liking their upgrade/crossgrade prices though.. currently you can't even log into your account to check, their website is completely broken.. haha...

D16 discounts half the time you don't even need to click the link to know what they will be they're so predictable.. I was a bit surprised by this one and even for Repeater alone it made sense, so I grabbed the bundle. Haven't registered Godfazer, or Spacerek yet, I'm planning on giving them a bit of a demo in case I decide to sell/swap either of them instead, as they weren't on my radar initially and I haven't used them before.

You were definitely not alone there, I'm sure a whole bunch of people did. I think we get better anticipating over time, but I've still pulled the trigger on plugins at a good sale price, only to find them cheaper, or free as a giveaway down the track!

This was a fun freebie and didn't sound too bad. I didn't notice any high CPU, but I didn't check specifically. Hopefully they fix that up in future updates.

I wouldn't surprised if upgrades will be available after Black Friday sales and leading up to new year. First round will probably be just seeing who they can fool into getting to pay for the full bundles and rebuy the products they already own and then they will probably make the upgrade pricing available to those of us that aren't prepared to do that like me ? And if they don't, I'm not fussed either way. At first I was disappointed that I missed out on the first offers, but then I scored the Creative bundle which was much better value. Some of the people that held out got even better offers after that. These new bundles and the essentials bundles are good value. Every step of the way has shown me to just wait and don't jump early with UA right now.

Like always with UA, just ignore them.. the sit and wait game is the key to UA and if they don't recognise already owned, I'm sure you already have plenty of plugins and if not, just buy someone else's ? Lots of good sales over Black Friday, so I'm happy to skip them this round. I just see UA getting cheaper for anyone that holds out.

You can always just download the demos from UA without the sub. I've trialed almost all of the ones I've bought from them first.

I'm not sure I'd say they're getting desperate. They've offered a freebie every month like they do with Plugin Boutique for ages. It's just another sales tactic that's all.

The freebie is for all subscribers, new and existing, the $2 plan I believe is what they were referring to as only being for new subscribers.

Try a different browser. It did the same to me in one, so I switched to another and it confirmed I'd registered afterwards in the second one.

This is one of the Hornet ones that I don't really rate. I think maybe I need to spend more time with it, but it doesn't grab me like some of his others.

These will all be VST2 only and they almost never see any updates. I'd avoid. Good price though.
