Yes, no different sonically, it's just that Cubase users on Mac already can't use VST2 any more with the latest version I believe and Steinberg is dropping support potentially in Cubase 13 for PC which is just to be released, although hopefully it won't be until 14 next year. Many other DAWs will follow for sure. That means for anyone that uses the plugin in projects now, the VST2 version will no longer open if someone upgrades their DAW. That's why I never would've bought this plugin, but as a freebie it's great and I'm likely to pay for the upgrade to the new version when it's released. (After the Audient freebie and now this giveaway, my hunch is its imminent and at Black Friday at the latest)

I never really think of Hornet for their reverbs, but I actually had lots of fun with their recent giveaway one. I have no need for this, but I might still pick it up when it drops down to a few dollars with one of their extra discounted sales ? A lot of plugin developers lately are setting some absurdly high prices, so I love supporting the little guys who provide reasonable and fair prices and don't make my life hard as a paying customer with stupid copy protection applications and hoops to jump through. Hornet wins there easily.

We stopped buying them and got lower minimum spends back... Exactly what I plan on doing now. Ignore their sales if the new vouchers don't work out.. plenty of other developers and sales.

Basically up until OB-X was released the bundle only included OB-E and SEM. They released OB-X which is now part of that bundle but JRR hasn't put the price up yet. So when I bought the bundle at JRR Shop and registered, I basically got OB-X for free ?

I have a feeling we're in different cohorts of users in UA... It seems the deals I get, you don't and the deals you get, I don't.. this doesn't show for me... although I'd mainly be interested in it if the vouchers would combine. With UA I've learnt there's no consistency and it's a bit of a lucky dip as to what deals you get.... you win some, you lose some it seems.. I lost this round so I'm ignoring them ?
