  1. Sonible use a bunch of AI, but I can certainly say they do not use it for bundle prices... They make no sense at all every time I've looked!
  2. Yep, I'm exactly the same. No need to buy, no need to pay a subscription, perpetual licences only and now it doesn't matter really what they do with the vouchers, I'm all set with PA.
  3. New Nation are known for shutting down their website and everyone losing access to everything they owned and paid for, only for them to open a new website and keep selling the same things.
  4. I jumped the gun and bought it the other day and already thought the same thing! Great price for that. I still don't even mind paying $19.99 for it though.
  5. This has already been posted by that Satya character... ?
  6. Haha.. I still get enough frustrations out of some of my plugins so I'm not completely left out there ? I personally don't agree with Steinberg's choice either, but I guess they had to draw a line in the sand somewhere and people just weren't moving fast enough. If they supported it for another 10 years I'd guarantee some of the same developers that haven't already upgraded to VST3 even by now, would still want an extension.. To put that in perspective... VST3 was released in 2008... so developers can hardly say it's snuck up on them! Ableton Live was surprising.. they only started supporting it around 2019 from memory.. All that said, there are some VST2 plugins and instruments that I will definitely miss... yes, I do know I can load them in wrappers and hosts, but I do prefer native
  7. I have heard some cases of that, although I'm not sure I'd say it's many cases. I've personally not had a single one and never had to revert back to VST2 for anything . I wonder if it might be more DAW specific, or certain DAWs. I use Cubase the most and that seems fine with VST3. Some 3rd party plugins are buggy.. but their VST2 versions were too!
  8. Just their homepage or any other page should be enough to get the popup ?
  9. Do you use any ad blockers, popup blockers etc and have you tried different browsers? I got the popup on mobile and desktop OK.
  10. That's a shame Heath, I was actually looking forward to trying this and had wondered what it was like... Will still install it and have a look though. Was there anything in particular you didn't like about it?
  11. Yes, no different sonically, it's just that Cubase users on Mac already can't use VST2 any more with the latest version I believe and Steinberg is dropping support potentially in Cubase 13 for PC which is just to be released, although hopefully it won't be until 14 next year. Many other DAWs will follow for sure. That means for anyone that uses the plugin in projects now, the VST2 version will no longer open if someone upgrades their DAW. That's why I never would've bought this plugin, but as a freebie it's great and I'm likely to pay for the upgrade to the new version when it's released. (After the Audient freebie and now this giveaway, my hunch is its imminent and at Black Friday at the latest)
  12. I never really think of Hornet for their reverbs, but I actually had lots of fun with their recent giveaway one. I have no need for this, but I might still pick it up when it drops down to a few dollars with one of their extra discounted sales ? A lot of plugin developers lately are setting some absurdly high prices, so I love supporting the little guys who provide reasonable and fair prices and don't make my life hard as a paying customer with stupid copy protection applications and hoops to jump through. Hornet wins there easily.
  13. 14. Full version but only VST2... This is likely a giveaway as a teaser for the no doubt very soon to be released new / VST3 version. Great sounding freebie though.
  15. We've already got this one covered Kirean ? https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/68012-hornet-reverb-like-its-the-80s-again-?️-introducing-hornet-80verb-1699€/
  16. That's exactly what I had to do as well. I wasn't expecting that, but it was simple enough. Nice to see the start of official VST3 versions from the Integral Pack coming through.

  18. Note: These are now VST3 Dear Friends, As you might know, our parent company, Plugivery Distribution, also owns and powers Nomad Factory, Plug & Mix and BBE Sound plug-ins. Well today, we are proud and excited to announce that we have finalized and launched major updates to both Nomad Factory's flagship products, Pulse-Tec EQs and All-Tec EQs. These plug-ins are faithful emulations of the legendary PULTEC & ALTEC hardware equalizers, and they are now version 2.0, that brings full support to the latest Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as native compatibility with the latest Apple Silicon chips. This is also a Major Upgrade to both Pulse-Tec EQs and All-Tec EQs plug-ins, adding useful new modules and features to the product line as well as completely redesigned, hi resolution and resizable GUIs, and two different skins (Classic and Fancy White). [These UPGRADES are FREE for all previous owners] The two plug-ins are now packaged within a new Bundle named Retro EQs Bundle that contains both Pulse-Tec and All-Tec EQs installers. See the Online User Manual for more product info The Pultec EQs Story The Pultec EQP-1, the first passive program EQ, was introduced in the early 1950s and revolutionized recording techniques by allowing more control over the sound. The Pultec EQs gained popularity because they improved any signal that passed through them, even in bypass mode. They are still being used today. The EQP-1 was followed by the EQP-1A (with some variations of the low end curves) and other Pultec models such as the MEQ-5 for midrange and the HLF module for high-pass and low-pass filtering. The Pulse-Tec EQs by Nomad Factory faithfully reproduce the original hardware units' curves and offer the three modules in a single plugin. But the new version also adds four unique features that make the Pulse-Tec EQs 2 by Nomad Factory the ultimate Pultec emulation: LINKABLE Boost/Attenuation: The Classic Pultec Trick (for punchy low end) is easier than ever to achieve. 2 MID CUT BANDS: The dream feature that every engineer has always wanted; you can finally remove boominess and harshness at the same time. ANALOG CIRCUITS: You can adjust the amount of harmonic distortion and make it sound clean or you can go beyond and enhance the vintage tube and transformer vibe, just like from the original unit. MIX: You can blend dry and processed sound to create subtle or dramatic variations. See the Online User Manual for more product info The Altec EQs Story The Altec 9063 EQ was a very popular mastering EQ in the 1950s, and the graphic models 9062 and 9073 were also known as the Ultimate Motown EQs. The new Nomad Factory All-TEC EQs v2 (formerly All-Tech 9063b EQ) emulates all the features of the Altec EQs, plus the very precise high-pass and low-pass filters. With All-TEC EQs v2, you can experience the "legend" of the Altec EQs in a single plugin! The adjustable analog saturation makes it sound closer than ever to the original units, and you can also boost the harmonic content beyond the natural level and make it sound more gritty and aggressive. The extra mix control feature is perfect for blending in some of the dry signal and creating unique tone variations. See the Online User Manual for more product info The Pulse-TEC EQs v2 and All-TEC EQs v2 are the perfect combo to bring the classic top-class vintage sound to your DAW. Try them out ! 19. I was totally expecting this to be one of their 1% off sales, or something like that ?
  20. I really like some of the Relab stuff.. I don't think I even want to demo this as I'll probably just want to buy it! Kirchhoff is pretty good.. ?
  21. They should definitely rewrite it, or stop using ChatGPT to write it for them ?
  22. I laughed reading it all as well ? For lots of other companies based on that alone I wouldn't even post it! But I do suspect this could be very good... Haha..
