  1. That's not far off the mark for me! But some of the plugins are really quite decent and have had quite a lot of use. If they had flashy designs and branding, people would probably be paying a lot more and raving about them, so sometimes they don't give them enough credit. I'm all for freeware, inexpensive, or pricey if it's worth it, it's just about how good they are and never the price.
  2. Yum Audio Spread Light : Free with purchase @ ADSR Sounds for October Stereo Widener Plugin Spread Light - The lightweight stereo tool. Spread as you like: Take Full Control of the Processing Amount with this light-weight version of Spread. Spread it Out, or fold it in. Widen your synth lines or focus your bass. https://www.adsrsounds.com/product/software/yum-audio-spread-light-stereo-utility-plugin/
  3. I have a feeling it just adds them and then maybe you just use the Update function in Native Access each time one is added.
  4. Oh wow, that's messy... I can imagine they're scrambling to get everything up and running well before Black Friday sales! I wonder if the whole grace period thing will still work with the new online shop.. I've always used that to get newer versions.
  5. Title needs to be changed to "Not a deal' ? Love this synth.. do not recommend that price!
  6. Always nice when companies offer additional loyalty discounts and crossgrades and quite a few do, so it's not a bad wish to have ?
  7. I somewhat came to the same conclusion. I'm sure some of them could be fun, but I still haven't even installed and tested some of the libraries from Komplete and from what I can see, there is likely a lot of overlap in that alone, let alone anything else I already have. Great prices though, so it someone doesn't already have other libraries then this deal is amazing.
  8. I'd wait for sure. These aren't uncommon prices from memory and BF could be a good one for a number of Devs this year I suspect.
  9. It depends on the plugin. The Brainworx ones and all the ones that Plugin Alliance does (apart from a couple) are identical code, so there's absolutely no difference. Same with Sonnox. I suspect it's quite likely the same with Softube as well. For the UA branded stuff which they've made native, as the others I've mentioned aren't native via UA yet (possibly ever?), I would say they're at least on par at worst case with most of the Waves ones, but never any WUP to pay ever again ? I've replaced the Waves CLA76 with the UA1176. It responds and sounds very similar. The Pultec I prefer to the Waves version. CPU usage seems OK.
  10. Depending on whether you're recording, producing electronic, mixing more etc you might want to try a demo if you haven't already. I really like Live, but not for everything, so for some things it might be a downgrade from Cubase. As for prices, I think from memory Live discounts tend to be 20% off. The biggest exception I've seen from that was the Focusrite offer.
  11. It's always good to know about those ones in particular that don't normally discount, so good call out. I wonder if there are many others like that on there.

  14. I can imagine it working really well for that side of things. Looking forward to testing it out on more material. I'm not sure about Oxide. You could be right, as they do say it's made by the same team and it's a more basic tape emulation, but they don't seem to say clearly that it is on the page for it unless I missed it. Some of the usual forums might have confirmed it though if that's the case.
  15. They ended up making available again for me too, even though it was removed from my cart after I got Century Channel Strip for free, so I double dipped and got the Studer A800 tape as well. It's quite an obvious tape sound and not always so subtle, but not in a bad way. Just a lot more noticeable at some settings than Softube Tape or IKs. It really rolls off the highs. Pretty amazed that I got the thankyou $25 coupon afterwards without having to contact support for once ?
  16. I noticed their email is wrong as well. It has the "s" on the end. In the cart it doesn't. The email says the code is UADTUESDAYS.
  17. Yeah I had a feeling you would've been onto that as well. Hopefully they sort it out for you.
  18. Is the plugin you're trying to buy over $89?
  19. Oops.. freebie plugin was too hard to resist ?
  20. I'd say so. The original is pretty decent if you use a lot of 808s and subs and for $10 as an upgrade it's pretty much a no brainer. Entirely possible they're about to release and XXL or something seeing this upgrade so cheap!
  21. Looks like they just expired it. I was able to get a plugin for free earlier, although I'm dubious as to whether they will take it back or not!
  22. SubLab XL Crossgrade from SubLab ($10 at Plugin Boutique) https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/1-Instruments/4-Synth/9347-SubLab-XL-Crossgrade-from-SubLab
  23. I seemed to have lost all my previous purchases with these guys when they took their site offline and moved to a new site without warning. I raised two polite tickets on their new site and both seem to have been deleted without any response. Will definitely not be buying from them again unless they resolve it.
