  3. That's actually a pretty perfect way and words to describe it The metallic thing is a pretty common complaint about many reverbs. You can probably get rid of some of that with taming some of those frequencies on the return track with EQ, but it's always good to start with a more suitable reverb if possible. Do you generally use your reverbs directly on the track as an insert, or as a return / FX bus? For lush, one of the best for me, is Eventide Blackhole, but it can easily get too lush out of control pretty easily! Great for ambient, but with vocals you might want to ease back some of the settings. Ducking can help too. Tai Chi by Liquidsonics is also great for lush and has a heap of controls for shaping the sound too in the full version. Their sale is once a year and finishes today! LX480 and Sonsig by Relab are good for obvious and lush. I just picked up Sonsig and I've been loving it so far. Some of the Wave Alchemy ones in this post are completely capable for lush too. There are plenty more, but these ones came to mind.
  4. They're all listed at the bottom of the Products page: https://www.soundtoys.com/product/
  5. They're pretty old now, but I still love lots of my Soundtoys plugins.

  7. Hard to say for sure Satya, but they say 6 free plugins and they have 6 of the little / jr versions and they are: Little Plate Devil-Loc Little Radiator Little PrimalTap Little MicroShift EchoBoy Jr. None of those ones in the list have a price to buy them, whereas Little AlterBoy shows $49, so I suspect not. But Soundtoys have been really generous in the past, so who knows
  8. Elevate Bundle by Newfangled Audio for $66.28 is pretty good!
  9. Song Athletics: Ruiner - 8 ways to destroy your sound (for £10)(50% Off) https://songathletics.com/products/ruiner
  10. I have been holding off on my Komplete upgrades, but if the next one has a new version of Kontakt and Absynth 6 then that might just be the motivation I need 🤣
  11. Not a deal.. Yet.. but awesome: Native Instruments - Absynth 6 https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=625347

  13. Happy to help Marc and glad you got it sorted It can be a bit GAS and sale overload at this time of year.. there were some free samples the other day at another site and it was so horrible on mobile that I decided even if the samples were good, I couldn't be bothered thinking about it!

  15. Pretty crazy to think about how much these would've cost barely even 3 or 4 years ago and now we're spoilt with them all for free. Some really nice sounding plugins in that list.
  16. Day 7 now available https://blackoctopus-sound.com/product/advent-calendar-door-7/ Vocal adlibs
  17. Looks like you should be able to just hit the + on the little cart next to $0.00 to add it to the cart and then check out. Does that not work?
  18. I tried the same thing out of curiosity initially too!
  19. It still normally adds to the cart if you're not signed in with these guys and I tested the link before when I wasn't signed in and it did at least get to the right page, so something is not quite right

  21. Yeah that's the problem with these types of promos, where you have to remember to check back. Hopefully between us all if someone bumps the post each day it should help. Often companies will do a final unlock of all at the end so you can grab the ones you miss. Not sure if they will do that with this one, or not, but they should 😉 Even more so as their timezone might be different to the customer and so the chance of missing one is higher as the end of each isn't the same for everyone.
  22. That's strange Marc, it's all working fine for me. How about if you go to their main page? Can you see it from there? https://blackoctopus-sound.com/ Are you using any adblock software etc?
  23. Very talented and generous developer Doug and all coded super efficiently in C++. There are some gems in there for sure. I haven't used VSTManager. Will have to check it out 🙂
  24. Up to day 6: https://blackoctopus-sound.com/product/advent-calendar-door-6/
