  1. Is your GPU A Nvidia one? Is the driver upto date. Exception C0000005 tends to infer a video driver error for Nvidia cards.
  2. @AlexHomeStudio I do believe if they have an * next to them you cannot reassign them. I may be wrong.
  3. I use the staff view more less exclusively as I can hear/see the music, I only use the PRV for drums. So you are not alone.

    Three

Thanks Nigel, one needs more thingies in ones life.
  5. @Michael Richards one thing to appreciate about the staff view is that it has received very little love since 1992. It was very nearly dropped on the introduction of the X series. I believe it uses a very specific font for notes consequently not all note lengths are available, only the standard down to 1/16 and appropriate subdivisions of triplets etc. No random note lengths.
  6. @Edward Allen what sample rate was the project recorded at?
  7. Wookiee

    Three

    Thank you sir, most kind.
  8. @Edward Allen one PC seems to running at 44.1kHz and one is 48kHz that indicates sample rate difference to me. Your second screen capture notes sound settings at 48kHz. At the risk of upsetting you, you are also using devices with a driver that may not be supported, ASIO4all is an unsupported driver as it is not quite ASIO.
  9. @Edward Allen suspect you have different sample rates on each PC.

  11. Pleasant sounding, mix feel OK
  12. Hot stuff Edwardo and crew
  13. Mix sounds OK here.
  14. Sounds reasonable here, though there is not as much weight in the bottom as I was expecting, looking at it with a FFS analyser, the bottom seems to roll of steeply at the 150 to 100hZ mark. I did download the wave, this is just my two Triganic Pu view.
  15. Better to report to support@cakewalk.com or on the report page with an example project. Personally never experienced it and I use the staff view a lot.

Thanks, kick do you mean tonality, or whats played? I wanted the drums relatively simple against the bass line.
  17. @Pathfinder that is not used to display the Pro Channel, it is a handle to resize things. Try pressing D to display the Multi Dock, or use the Views menu to display the Console. If you want to show the PC in the Inspector it is one of the Icon gadgets at the top, I think it is the one that looks like an audio wave.
  18. @Under A Mile remove Norton's from your machine it is an virus, it is maleware, it is a trojan. It invades every single aspect of your OS, it is a system killer. No serious DAW user runs Nortons. If you want a third party AV/Anti-Malware protection use Malwarebytes. Unless you can't stay away from sites with questionable content or warze, or other basically dodgy sites, Microsoft defender is actually one of the best AV/anti-malware programs out there.
  19. Getting there, walking a sensible amount each day, still no furry four legged friend, but looking/waiting for one who needs a home to find me. Making music, thanks for asking.
  20. @Matthew Carr that has been the case since 1992, there is a limit to how long a single note can be displayed. I have reported it every couple of years since 1992, You learn to live with it. I suspect it is a limitation of the font used.
  21. @brandon I suspect you could treat it as an external FX unit using the external FX plugin.

Another nice cool mix, sweet Autotune is a tool of modern Audio mixing, one uses the tools in ones tool box.
  23. Hum, the random ARP is a tad repetitive, not unlike the video. Mix seems reasonably well balanced, would of been nice to hear a little more variety, just my two Triganic Pu.

    Serenity

    Nicely done Bjorn.
  25. Have to agree with Nigel, the Kick and other drum parts are lost in the mix, the kick lacks real punch and the snare is a little too forward. Bass not so much buried but not balanced with the rest. Just my two Triganic Pu. It has potential though.
