  1. @Max Arwood this frequently indicates your picture cache directory is full, try deleting all the files in the picture cache.
  2. @OutrageProductions in windows sound I have found it best, and the general recommendations are that " Exclusive control" is disabled. Just what I have found.
  3. Only happens when I use one of their, Arturia, instruments Standalone, in Sonar it is fine no changes.

Well I know how peeps have to know what toys are in use. Nice to hear you dug the groove Barry.
  5. @Larry T., does the buffer setting get changed by other apps? I have noticed running standalone Arturia apps forces my Clarett to 512. But running Sonar pushes back to either 128 or 96 which ever I left Sonar in.

Toontrack EZBass Rock Bass, the old Pro Channel version of Boz Digitals +10dB compressor in parallel mode 50/50, a tiny little bit of hybrid Quad Curve Prochannel narrow cut at around 80hz to open space for the deep whacking thingy. Thank you nice to know you enjoyed the whatchamacallit.
  7. @IainThompson you could try logging out of all Bandlab accounts, and then use the activation option inside Sonar. It might work!

  10. Not asking for the Ed, just suggesting he reveals what his plugin count is these days, it was 6 figures the last time he dropped it.

    My thanks sir.
  12. @pourfab I use an old Arturia Keylab 88 Mk 1, which did require a little time configuring using ACT. But once done it has worked fine with a couple of different computers and SONAR Platinum, CbB and now Cakewalk Sonar and Cakewalk Next.
  13. @Edward Allen, you are aware that Sonar can display three different scale rules at the top of the track view?
  14. If it helps, I have found SCAN 3SX computers to provide excellent service. I purchased an i9 14900K system from them just over 14 months ago, before we knew about the dred Intel i9/7 14/13 series rot. Unfortunately my i9 fell foul of that rot, even though I don't over clock, and use an AIO for cooling. They immediately arranged for my machine to be collected, repaired, replaced the i9. Run full system tests, and returned to me in 7 days, I did have to pay for the DPD return trip but a small price indeed.
  15. @timboalogo I am aware of one user who runs Cakewalk on a surface pro.

Thank you sir, I just fancied experimenting with a few added 9th, the bass whatchamacallit did work nicely
  17. @Billy86, providing all you delete is the .CWP project file you will lose nothing. If you move to a a new project folder, as noted by @Bristol_Jonesey ensure you check the copy audio files option

  19. @Ted Raven. 1. Open preferences. 2. Navigate to Drum maps. 3. Hold down Ctrl + Shift, 4. Select the top drop downs maping to an output. 5. Change it to point to your IK drums. 6. Save it.
  20. Thank you sir, sorry about the delays.
  21. Simple answer is only those provided, you can modify some of the colours yourself. The reason is because of the way the GUI is generated. This is explained in quite some detail by several staff, in numerous posts here.
  22. @matt sounds like you are using Workspaces which unless you save the Workspace after making changes will always revert to saved settings on starting Sonar. If possible I recommend using Workspace none then all Sonar functions are fully available and things stay where you put them from session to session.
  23. @norfolkmastering You may have done all this but...... 1. Check Windows Audio settings are the same as Sonar/Cakewalk 2. Have you disabled HDMI and the Realtek audio in device manager 3. In Windows Audio remove the check that says allow application to take full control of your audio device. Some people lock the AUD.INI file this ensures your audio settings are the same everytime you start Sonar/Cakewalk, just remember to unlock it if you intend to make changes to your audio device or settings.
