  1. Apologies but from reading through the answers here, your questions and concerns have all been clearly addressed. Even though the chief architect of the program has responded. But you obviously feel that not to be the case perhaps you would be so kind as to clearly indicate which have not.
  2. Thank you Gary, for your ears and comments.
  3. @crazy sniffable are you using Workspaces? Not all Workspaces have the same commands, it is how Workspaces work.
  4. @Larry T. I was listening on my Adams.
  5. I quite like this, though I have to ask is there any low bass instrumentation?
  6. You can also look in the project file directory tree.
  7. @Keith Wilby do you use versioning in you file saves?
  8. @AxlBrutality Cakewalk Sonar is based on the same core code as Cakewalk by Bandlab (CbB) and S-Plat. Projects from the 1980's through to today can be opened in the Sonar of today. If you study the directory tree of the Cakewalk family you will see that certain elements are common to all versions of CbB/SONAR/Sonar.

    Slow Down

Glad you enjoyed my little noises. 😀 Thanks for your ears and time.
  10. What exactly can't you drag and drop, be interesting to know what you appear to think you can't? 🤔
  11. Toys GForce > Menace Cherry Audio P-10 > Tinkling CA2600 > Mind Worm Arturia DX-7 > The Bell of Doom Toontrack Superior Drummer 3 Avatar Kit (slight tweaking) > The March to destiny To be fair to the GForce OB-X please don't insult it with headphones, unless they have extended bass response, it really needs Monitors to breath.
  12. Then you need to make a feature request, not tell me I am wrong for pointing out that Arrangements in CbB and Sonar don't work that way. There are many things in this software world that don't work how I want them to. Why because they haven't written the algorithm to do it that way simples. Telling people they are wrong for pointing it out is unacceptable? Make a valid feature request, give good reasons why you should be able to mute a section, they might consider it. But is really that hard to just make an alternative arrangement with the section removed, I mean making arrangements is so hard and so brain taxing, isn't it?
  13. At the risk it would appear you very much doubted they were viewed by real people, see the bold underlined comments made by yourself. It is not unusual, especially with a small development team, who also do the support, not to get a specific response as to a problem. They probably are a little pushed for time.
  14. Cyclone was unfortunately 32bit DXi, which is why it died.
  15. You asked how to change the way the grid can be changed, but unfortunately the solution doesn't suit you. Fine your choice
  16. Try turning off smart grid, then the resolution should remain at whatever the snap resolution is set to.
  17. @dubdisciple look at the Bandlab product line. You also are not completely informed as to why this policy has been implemented. As mods we get given a set of rules to moderate by, some of us stick our heads above the parapet to keep you guys/girls/its/thems/theys informed what those rules are, only to receive unwarranted abuse. Abuse that is not always public.
  18. You would think but frequently they hide behind a "normal" type of username.

    Slow Down

Apologies for the new hole, glad it was a good way.
  20. I also suspect that those that look at the Ableton/FL functionality alongside Cakewalk and don't realise they are as different as chalk and cheese. Made of the same stuff but completely different. Historically the first version of Cakewalk I had, had a Fruit Loops licence. But that's another story. Cakewalk has never been a loop or sample software, where both Ableton/FL have. The whole paradigm for them both has been about manipulation of Audio loops, later MIDI loops, from the very start. Cakewalk's paradigm has always been about linear recording of MIDI then audio when computers and technology caught up. Noted Cakewalk doesn't have the all singing, all dancing super sampler. Historically it did but it was based on DX technology. It does now have the X-Sampler, but as one who does not use samples, other than single shot I make myself, its functionality is opaque to me.
  21. I will test my Roland Cloud synths in both tomorrow.
  22. @Sock Monkey at the risk of upsetting you. If you have (Cakewalk) Sonar installed you have Cakewalk Sonar installed, what I think you mean is you don't have Cakewalk by Bandlab installed. There are three products Cakewalk Sonar Cakewalk Next Cakewalk by Bandlab. Consequently when they replied they are correct in referring to the product as Cakewalk as that is part of the product name. Again at the risk, I doubt very much that an AI responded to your email. How did you submit your error?
  23. This thread has done as so many threads do. Oh look a rabbit hole.
