  1. Even CD's perfer at least -0.1 below. Personally I prefer to be -1.0 for CD's people do have volume controls. If you get the Pro version of Youlean loudness meter, he has a number of presets for the different popular streaming services.

It starts as a drone then gets a little confused, runs off in some odd direction, remembers what its is gets lost again but ends droning on. In D minor. Wild Side

I assume the AutoTune artifacts are intentional? Mix sounds fine and would not doubt work well in a clubs chill out room.
  4. Is it me or is there a little bit of a sync issue between the image and the vocal? Mix sounds quite reasonable.
  5. Interesting, what did you use?

Thank you sir, always nice to know when the sounds work together.
  7. Sounds quite good here, all the voices have their own space and can be clearly be heard, just one tiny little nit, could do with a little more weight on the kick not quite punching through the mix, I can hear it but it doesn't quite have the presence I would expect. . Unless you were going for a more retro mix.
  8. The vocal gets a little lost in the overall sound wash, whilst I can hear a kick it has little weight. Probably a good song hiding in there, if the vocal was a little more forward. The left and right channels are louder than the centred vocal.
  9. Search for Workspaces not workspace. Best recommendations is to set it to none as noted by Bristol Jonesey.

    Better Than You

Suitably laid back groove, as noted by Mark nice use of Synths Bass and Kick.

    Wine o'Clock

Mix sounds fine here, perhaps a little like 30 minutes after Wine O'Clock, but its works.
  12. Pleasant, easy on the furry lugs, mix sounds fine here.
  13. Yep shaker a bit high Steve, re 9/11 my brother had that day off. Apart from the shaker the mix translates quite well here.
  14. Sounds fine here considering your explanation of the capture process. Nice synth keys. Nice Job Bit cool grooving sir cool grooving.
  15. Being late to the party, nuffink new there, I assume I am listening to the latest/last mix. No real complaints, like so many rock songs the vocal gets a little lost in places but that seems to be the norm. MIx translates here quite well nothing seems missing in the mix.

    Late Night

Nice grooving, nice grooving, mix sounds good here.

    Parachutes

As ever a well written, well performed and mixed track, nice job Nigel.
  18. No complaints about your vocal, mix works OK here. Well done.
  19. Not familiar with this one, not surprising not a Maiden follower. One of the better metal mixes I have heard here, sounds balanced all voice auditable within the sound stage.

I suspect the bending is caused by aftertouch. Thanks for listening glad you found it interesting. Trying to get away from four to the floor beats, if you know what I mean.
  21. Misha yet again you have to be the one who finds the rabbit hole. My post wasn't even slightly argumentative, I was posting facts, it was yourself who wanted an argument.
  22. You are referring to the model Gibson offered for SONAR, you seem to forget that that product and offering is no longer available as it is owned by Gibson and Cakewalk Inc, Bandlab Technologies did not purchase Cakewalk Inc or any of its liabilities, only the intellectual property of the code. My post pointed out that you missed significant facts regarding the product on offer. You missed that the primary offering was for a subscription for the product, which came with benefits, not available to those buying just a perpetual licence. Why did I lock the thread because the subject of a perpetual licence for Cakewalk Sonar by Bandlab has been done to death. Repeatedly you and any another's paying attention have been told that at this time there is nothing on offer. You also tried to imply that Bandlab were cheating it's users by not offering a perpetual licence for Sonar. They are not cheating anyone they have obviously decided to follow the route of many software vendors. Conveniently you forget to mention six years of free support, bug fixes, new features and that Cakewalk by Bandlab (CbB) is still free. You are under no obligation to purchase the subscription, just keep using CbB. You have been told it will get occasional fixes to keep it running for the foreseeable future. Finally we are under instruction to shutdown such topics as the matter is not currently up for discussion.

Thank you Timbo, nice to hear the mix translates.
  24. But you missed something, Pre Sonus talk about the best option being the annual subscription plan. Yes they mention the perpetual licence once, but most is talk of the subscription plan. You will be better off buying the annual subscription plan with all its extras. If you are going talk about something, be honest and upfront, they want you to buy a subscription, rather than a perpetual licence.

She was a wonderful person and a skilled musician, my thoughts to her family.
