@Metalhawk what Ryzen CPU are you using, is it a recent one? I am aware there were two, historically, Ryzen's that didn't play well with music production, sorry don't know which one's as I have always been an Intel furry alien. Just an experience thing I suspect, having used PC/Intel computers since the 1980's.

Do you have an Bandlab account? If you are asking about Sonar you need to have an account and paid your subscription fee. If you are referring to CbB the free version you still need an account. Just use the activate option under Help.

@Amberwolf why are you not using the plugin version of MIDI guitar 2 in Cakewalk, it works reasonably well. Wish he would get the Windows version working of MIDI guitar 3.

Do you have it set to Workspaces = None? If not you are using a workspace.

You have tried increasing the samples just fir the freeze? No need to disable wired networking it is only WiFi networking that screws with DAW operation.

You are incorrect in your assumption regarding my level of prejudice towards yourself, neither publicly nor privately. I have no feelings one way or the other towards you, I do have a task to do in these forums and that is to keep things as correct as possible. You have repeatedly been told by staff the position of Bandlab regarding to topic of perpetual licensing but persistently bang the drum, possibly believing if you bang it long enough and hard enough you will brow beat the management into concededing to your demands. However your actions have now had a detrimental affect on this thread. Apologies to @Loody1985 but the actions of one give me little choice but to lock it. As has been suggested you try the free trial. Sonar has functionaly moved on from CbB, the basic workflow is the same as CbB, though it looks a little different due to the method used to generate the GUI. There have been serious improvements to the Audio engine and general operation of the whole program. You are correct in there is now being a charge to use it. There is a choice of monthly or yearly subscription, like so many audio software vendors are now doing, Roland, UVI, etc. The price is not unreasonable historically SONAR cost $450 to buy new, yes it was a perpetual licence which you had to renew each year to get the latest updates, features and bug fixes. The subscription offers near monthly bug fixes, new features when they become available and very diligent support when bugs are found. It is your choice stay with CbB or join the many that are helping Cakewalk Sonar to be a excellent audio tool.

Obviously you have never read the EULA that has come with software since the beginning of software for computers. You don't buy software, you buy a licence to use/operate it. The EULA gives you a licence to use the software, but you don't own it, it also gives the owner of the software, i.e. the issuer of the EULA, the right to withdraw your right to use it at anytime it feels like it. Recent changes to EU law now give the user the right to transfer that licence to a third party. The third party is subject to the same rules as the party who purchased that licence in the first instance.

Interestingly dark lyric, in the main the whole thing ain't bad. If I was to raise a small issue I found the snare a bit to hot and relentless, bit to in the face during the verses, just my two Triganic Pu. What do I know though. Still enjoyed the song.

When I contacted their support, they basically said, 1. They don't test it in Cakewalk SONAR, this was in the Gibson days of ownership of Cakewalk. 2. They weren't interested in testing it in Cakewalk software.
