  1. Sounds fine here considering your explanation of the capture process. Nice synth keys. Nice Job Bit cool grooving sir cool grooving.
  2. Being late to the party, nuffink new there, I assume I am listening to the latest/last mix. No real complaints, like so many rock songs the vocal gets a little lost in places but that seems to be the norm. MIx translates here quite well nothing seems missing in the mix.

    Late Night

Nice grooving, nice grooving, mix sounds good here.

    Parachutes

As ever a well written, well performed and mixed track, nice job Nigel.
  5. No complaints about your vocal, mix works OK here. Well done.
  6. Not familiar with this one, not surprising not a Maiden follower. One of the better metal mixes I have heard here, sounds balanced all voice auditable within the sound stage.

I suspect the bending is caused by aftertouch. Thanks for listening glad you found it interesting. Trying to get away from four to the floor beats, if you know what I mean.
  8. Misha yet again you have to be the one who finds the rabbit hole. My post wasn't even slightly argumentative, I was posting facts, it was yourself who wanted an argument.
  9. You are referring to the model Gibson offered for SONAR, you seem to forget that that product and offering is no longer available as it is owned by Gibson and Cakewalk Inc, Bandlab Technologies did not purchase Cakewalk Inc or any of its liabilities, only the intellectual property of the code. My post pointed out that you missed significant facts regarding the product on offer. You missed that the primary offering was for a subscription for the product, which came with benefits, not available to those buying just a perpetual licence. Why did I lock the thread because the subject of a perpetual licence for Cakewalk Sonar by Bandlab has been done to death. Repeatedly you and any another's paying attention have been told that at this time there is nothing on offer. You also tried to imply that Bandlab were cheating it's users by not offering a perpetual licence for Sonar. They are not cheating anyone they have obviously decided to follow the route of many software vendors. Conveniently you forget to mention six years of free support, bug fixes, new features and that Cakewalk by Bandlab (CbB) is still free. You are under no obligation to purchase the subscription, just keep using CbB. You have been told it will get occasional fixes to keep it running for the foreseeable future. Finally we are under instruction to shutdown such topics as the matter is not currently up for discussion.

Thank you Timbo, nice to hear the mix translates.
  11. But you missed something, Pre Sonus talk about the best option being the annual subscription plan. Yes they mention the perpetual licence once, but most is talk of the subscription plan. You will be better off buying the annual subscription plan with all its extras. If you are going talk about something, be honest and upfront, they want you to buy a subscription, rather than a perpetual licence.

Thank you Kevin, nice to know you enjoyed it.
  15. @Glenn Stanton do you use project templates?
  16. @Steven Philips, Workspaces can limit the availability of certain keyboard shortcuts, which is why Mark suggested changing the Workspace to advadvanced or none. Personally I don't use Workspaces at all for this reason.

Thanks for the ears and kind words. The DMX comes with a number of different samples. I think I put this through Moogerfooger phase pedal just for fun.

Thank you t you are most kind, the idea of just using Oberheim sources came in one of those odd dreams that invade the proccess of sleep, well I think that is what I am supposed to be doing, not that I feel I have slept at all. As ever your support is appreciated. Perhaps one day I may just do one about you, I never really know what's going to appear at the end of the furry paws.
  23. Looks like your monitor is ready to move on to its next exciting role. What inputs does it have, HDMI, DP, etc. If your card supports different outs and your monitor does to, you could try that. It does look like pixel failure or far more irritating VRAM failure on you graphics card. Not helpful I know, apologies.
  24. Suitable dark sound and video to reflect the disturbing effects of migraine. I suffer with them, no pain I just go blind or can not focus on anything. Good to know you found a solution. Love the tune and incidentals. Great mix too.
  25. Slight latin feel to the groove, nice capture of the bass sound. Cool grooving all round
