I would be grateful as mine disappeared during a system crash years ago and never thought to redownload it. sjoens Posted February 19 Author Share Posted February 19 (edited) Yes... 8.3.1 was the final FREE update for version 8 and you must have 8.0 to apply it. 8.5 (instead of 9) was a paid upgrade, which can be confusing. Use this download link: https://legacy.cakewalk.com/support/dl.aspx?DLID=92 Essentially, change any download link that starts with http://www.cakewalk to https://legacy.cakewalk and it should work. FWIW, in my case under 8.0 Pro it says there are no download links available. I'm not bothered about this personally as I have 8.5 Pro and all the update patches for that, which I guess contains everything that was ever in 8.0 Pro anyway, but I'm just mentioning it in case it might be a problem for anyone else. Before I only had to set the browser to allow insecure content to download, but that didn't work this time. BTW, your link reverts to the old link when the page opens so you have to manually change the www to legacy in the address bar after it does... then you see the file downloading and the URL revert back to www. Paulo, I don't think the main 8.0 installs were offered as a download, at least mine isn't. The updates were tho. EDIT: Home Studio 7.0.1 update is downloadable. Yeah, sorry, I realise that. I meant the updates to 8.0. They do not show up for me. As I said, it doesn't really matter to me personally, just thought it worth mentioning in case it's ever a problem for someone else. While I was there I was just going to grab the 8.3.1 update file that I couldn't find when I was looking at my old files for you in case anyone else ever needed it.
