craigb Posted April 6, 2023 Share Posted April 6, 2023 I would have loved one of these when I was in high school: 😃 Instead I ended up with one of these: 😕 The real irony is this: I had one of those crazy uncles who, in addition to making millions by inventing the glass elevator, was the chief mechanic on an Indy 500 car in 1965 and 1966 (much to my Mom's displeasure, he took me for a couple laps in the car so, literally, I've been behind the wheel of an Indy 500 car!). Anyway, at his mansion in Dulzura California he had a huge 10-car garage to work on race cars and he put a lot of "special" stuff into my Cadillac! Once done, it might have actually been faster than that Camaro! (It did 163 mph in a 1/4 mile drag race once!)
