TDL SlickEQ and Nova Families Updated (Not A Deal)

Recommended Posts

The SlickEQ and Nova plugin families have been updated. You can find
detailed changelogs at the bottom of this email.

This update accumulates several patches silently released in the past weeks,
introduces a fixed latency mode, improves the main EQ display's options and
context menus, and brings other small enhancements.

Particularly interesting for geeks is a new experimental feature now found
in SlickEQ and SlickEQ GE, allowing to reconfigure the UI controls and even
build your own EQ models. This whole process is documented in a dedicated
tech article here: https://docs.tokyodawn.net/slickeq-custom-models-guide/

If that's too confusing, don't worry. Similar to how SmartOps developed, we
plan to greatly improve the usability of this feature in a future update.

As always, freeware can be updated by downloading and running the latest
installers:

Customers find updated installers in their libraries:

Analog-Based Model: Pultec MEQ5 Clone
Analog-Based Model: Pultec EQP-1A Clone
Analog-Based Model: API 550A

That's a really cool feature they've open up to the users. But it will be REALLY difficult after the fact (without looking at pics) to tell which parameters are which. i.e. Pultec Preset in the document.  They need to add a UI piece to those parameters.  Still a really cool idea though and I'm sure they'll come up with something brilliant.

For sure. My inteligence threshold only let me load those 3, as it is explained on the manual 🤪
I hope smart people can create some presets too

Same here.  And based on that pic, I would barely be able to operate it!  😛

@LAGinz  The site seems to be working for me...
