Carlos Posted February 28, 2020 Share Posted February 28, 2020 When I watched the video first 20 secs, I was with my headphones on (the Sennheiser 599), and I was this sounds so great but... is my interface working correctly? Felt the sound was actually coming from the room, it was a weird experience, then I took the headphones off, yeah, it is working just fine. simon Posted February 28, 2020 Share Posted February 28, 2020 (edited) Picked this one up (plus the violin) initial thoughts.... Sound is good but the GUI/instrument control is very very basic. It's the same GUI as the freebie felt piano No Legato No Portamento the improvs are good (interesting) but the basic sound less so. No way to change articulations via the GUI - has to be a midi note (which isn't great on smaller keyboards) Volume matching between articulations is a bit out of whack - especially the improvs Vibrato is not totally convincing and is very limited in range will keep playing with it ..... ----- quick edit - not saying it's bad though - but it's not a replacement for emotional cello or the embertone one (or the spitfire solo strings..which I don't actually like) - and got to bear the price in mind Edited February 28, 2020 by simon 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
