  1. I almost went for this, but I have no place to put it. We all know this deal will come back. Rather than buy another 1 TB of storage for this one library, I'm going to begin moving some big libraries around and even deleting stuff I don't use. I'll make the space available and I'll keep thinking about this. I'm going to talk to people who use it. I remember reading something on VI:Control from a guy who had problems with it. The reality is that Sonuscore is going to come out with the winds for The Orchestra 2 one of these days. They're already teasing it. I'll get it and it will probably cost in the $129 to $149 range. I don't remember what the Braaaass of GAS cost If I can go for that and it's just winds and it's not anywhere as good as this, then that shows what a good deal this is. But with a new SSD it's $349. 🤬 As I'm focused on videos these days, I love stuff that helps me quickly make insta-cues. Elysion is going to be a mainstay of the channel I'm building. If I was smart I would be looking for engines that make music I need write now. What engine libraries create spacey music like Elysion? I'd like to know now that the sales are over.
  2. I bought the Elgato Streamdeck+ and sideshowfx templates for Cubase and Photoshop. I would really like the Opus Hollywood Orchestrator, but if I can only last a few more hours, I'll be safe.
  3. I just got an email from them about this. It's back up on the site. All three for $49 https://lunacy.audio/cube-expansions Maybe they took it down so they could make this "special offer" later on? I thought I was crazy and imagined the deal
  4. There are some decent Sample Logic deals on APD. Everything at base price today. A lot of their major libraries in the $89.99 - $99.99 range. A few at $109.99. The original Drum Fury is $59.99 https://audioplugin.deals/developer/sample-logic/
  5. I'd be interested in Veevum Human, Veevum Guitarscapes, and Veevum Beat, but Audiofier has spoiled us in the past by selling three Veevums for $35. So I will wait.
  6. IMHO, this is one of the best deals on APD right now. ISW has often offered deals on packages of their strings, but I don't remember their ever doing packages of their winds. I have Koron, which is a terrific library that I think I paid $150 for. (it lists for $199) It was the biggest world library they had ever done when it came out. In the old days I would have picked this package up in a second, but these days my money is going more to video stuff. And the fact is... I have these instruments covered. But this is a true bargain, particularly if you don't have a lot of world instruments.
  7. 40% off entire site (except for new releases like Tetrality 2) Use Coupon Code BLACKFRIDAY2022 https://www.audiofier.co.uk/ Maybe there will be better deals at stores?
  8. I feel so sure I saw it, but it's not there, so I guess I didn't. Thanks for catching that.
  9. This is an incredible deal. I made a video about Soundweaver once. If you're trying to do unique sound design--it is easy on this. It's actually a more professional tool than I need--I lean towards quick-and-dirty sound design solutions like Tsugi. But I was knocked out by it. This sale will make me go back and check it out again.
  10. Lunacy Audio has a great deal on now: $129 for Cube and all the expansions. https://lunacy.audio/products/ Cube alone is $89. Maybe this deal will be even better in some stores. For Cube owners, the expansions are also on sale for $19 each. or $49 for all three. https://lunacy.audio/products/ If you own Threads or Air, the free presets packs Remnants and Breeze work. They make use of the samples in the expansions. (I posted this in the Cube Mini section, but maybe it's worth posting again.
  11. I think so. I would send them an email, Larry.

  13. Bohemian Violin has always been one of my very favorite VIs. I like the cello too (some like it more than the violin) but I am really excited about all the new features in the new cello. It is a huge upgrade, and I can't believe it is free. Plus it's going to be faster moving in the Gorilla Engine. Don't forget that if you own either the violin or cello, you will be able to buy the viola when it comes out for €99/$99. https://www.virharmonic.com/index.php?route=extension/simple_blog/article/view&simple_blog_article_id=3 Virharmonic describes the The Viola as "soon to be released," which is Virharmonic-speak for "maybe by 2026?" 😀 That's okay, I love that they don't release things until they are done. It's weird that they aren't making a bass, thought. I hope they reconsider some day.
  14. Was AudioThing in the tub when he released the bubbles?
  15. For seven years or more, there has been a much better user interface on the iPad Wavestation than on than on the Korg Collection one. iPad Wavestation is an A++++ and Korg Collection Wavestation is a D-. The design work is done, so why don't they port it? I think that Korg sees the iPad market as alive and growing, particularly with Gadget. They are getting untold numbers of young people, who never owned their hardware instruments. But the Collection is kind of abandonware, in that there is this group of mostly older users who will buy it and not complain that they aren't doing anything to update and improve them. They just want the sounds. They aren't fixing the Wavestation, because they don't think we are worth it. If they do this in an update I'll be happy, but what took them so long?
  16. Are there any noticeable changes? Or is this just bug fixes?
  17. It's free if you buy XO now, but it's eighty bucks if you already own it. 🥵 In other words, you can get it for less if you buy a second copy of XO.
  18. Anybody see the Infinite Beats Bundle?
  19. It's on today, Larry. Solo Strings, Brass and Woodwinds Untamed are all $70 off. $129 instead of $199. Percussion Untamed (a very cool library) is $18, instead of $29. Ugh! I was doing so well this BF, but I am very interested in Untamed Woods. I have the Strings. The whole collection is $344. If you have some of their libraries, email them and they'll give you a special custom price for the set. This goes not just for the whole collection, I got a special price when I traded up to the full strings set. If any of you are unfamiliar with Westwood, check out their videos. Their felt piano is free.
  20. Deal isn't up yet. Next week I guess. https://www.xlnaudio.com/
  21. https://emvoiceapp.com/ Keela $79 ($99) Lucy $39 ($99) Jay $59 ($99) Thomas $39 ($99)
  22. Don Bodin posted about this but his post was closed due to affiliate links. I just want to say that Realitone's Sunset Strings was one of my favorite purchases in years. Honestly I couldn't believe that Mike Greene would come out with something like that. It is more like an Orchestral Tools product, like NI's Arkhis. Or a Ben Osterhouse instrument made with a lot of money. But Sunset Strings sells for $199 ($299). So when he came out with Nightfall, which intros at $129 or $99 for Sunset Strings owners, I thought it would be smaller in some way. Little brother. Niche. But I was surprised to see it was just as good. Just different. It's a huge library. That really surprised me. So I do think it's a deal, something you should consider before you spend all your money on BF stuff. For me, this is a keeper. And I've stopped buying regular orchestral libraries--just stuff like Ben Osterhouse's and this. https://realitone.com/products/nightfall But Mike Greene says that it is selling faster than any of his other products. So I just wanted to say this is something special and maybe other people who have it can give their opinions. Don's post ended up being about people's thoughts on whether he should have been allowed to post it, so Nightfall itself got short shrift. @Simeon Amburgey I don't think you've done this. I would love to see your thoughts on it. (And to hear you play it)
  23. In the old days, when I was really into Middle Eastern music, I definitely would have bought at least one of these. Darbukator Extreme II for $45 sounds good.
  24. A very nice guy named Sam, or @premjj has picked up the torch from me and is covering the November sales on VI:Control. He's doing the freebies on this page. https://vi-control.net/community/threads/44-list-of-freebies-to-grab-during-black-friday-cyber-monday-christmas-new-year-promotions-2022-edition.131802/ which is where I found this. And he's doing the full list here: https://vi-control.net/community/threads/live-now-november-black-friday-cyber-monday-deals-2022-edition.131829/ As with my old Tiger the Frog post, there are some good things to find in these posts that are worth putting up on this forum.
