I think i m gonna skeep ot for now , one of the str.ength of sa3 was that it wasnt vulgarous and seted well on the mix , i m scared that this two patches thing will be omnispheresque and will ead to in your face patches fun to play but hard to make work in a mix . The over concern is cpu hit , uvi last releases are loaded with fx anf handles polyphony like crazy bolemia ... curious to olso have a feedback in that aspect .

Good move , i bought the V7 + opxa ... offer .... opxa wasn't working on my system , never been able to try it at least ....sold it ....now testing it , i regret , but had no choice , why keeping something i can't use .... Anyway they should do offers like V collection + on xtra of choice !! and basta .... i don't care at all about another 303 even if it has a lot of new features ....

No it wasn't but it was an offer like V9 + Minfreak at 149 $ and V9 at 129 or some while minfreak was at 69 $ (crossagrade) it was last winter , i even asked support to set me back with the deal (to ùmake videos but didn't mentio,nned it) and nope , answer was : some more deals coming ...yep sure but seems not this one !! are you using last update of workstation ? if so maybe it's a preset made in falcon that used something not present in workstation ...

By the way if anybody want to trade its minifreak for the acid V i will happily uprade and transfert it Also am i the onlyt one puzzled by the fact that 2023 and still no mouse scroll for paramters on arturias synths ?

Personnaly i wait for 2 versions , kinda like with komplete , if i upgrade i get a lot .... i do missed the offer with minifreak and regret it ...it was fast ... hoped it will be back again but i doubt ...

From v8 it depends , if you want the acid alone , wait for a deal ( if i jump on the offer i will happily sell it to you , don t need that thing at all ) the ms 20 looks interesting , but Diva and korg , are already great ...

Same here the gui is an insult, also i don t see any upgrade price , i hade originaly an nfr of 3 bougth the upgrade of v 3 and dont see any upgrade offer .... seems im supposed to buy new versions evrytime ? Lol better not having an nfr to strt with . what i see is that newresets must be based on this dual concept . my advise for anyobdy seriously looking for those vintage sounds : 1) stickwith v3 2) disable scond osc 3) take of all fx original soundsource will then reveal themselves and will show they true caracter printed by the hw ! the dual approch is the second osc enhnced in v 3 , sound matching is exactly what s present in xln audio XO if we have control over that lfo in the mix area , it cn be great but it deosnt seem to be teh case , a more solid way to play with the mix mod ( enveloppe , seq or several lfo type) is imho a must , maybe its there but didnt seen this ....

Lol giving what you alreay have software and hardware wise , no rush at all imho ... For people that need few software but a re looking fir anlaog feel , uhe and xils labs are exellent .. softube also but fx section is non present ... This one is powerfull and the beauty is the routing capscities thks to 2 lanes of filter ( kinda like uhe hive) but with the voices handling that is superb .

Like stated by Audioschmaudio , the whole bundle move is less expensive , you can then resale your single licences if i recall well...(not the one in bundle but those you mentionned ) To be honest , unless you like to create patches and do your sounddesign , analog lab is enougth for production stage when you use sounds as inspiration and starting points .... I checked some patches last day in FM8 and Arturia , and one thing i noticed specially when you put a good amount of reverb post synth is that on the same sysex file the arturia produces a small clik at start , so it's an enveloppe thing adressed by increasing just a little the attack time ... As far as i noticed , after tests , for factory originals i will use arturia maybe because they're alaready there (called Rom xxxx) (i saved each one , one by one in studio preset because even if you change veloicty settings , it's not global and changes with presets : so in studio one orgionals with my setting , arturia orignals with their settings) But for other banks provided upper , FM 8 will be used for fm duties simply because the simple view is ways fatsre to tweak globaliy envloppes ect .. an,d the cpu hit is x5 less !!! Wondering if opsix from Korg can import also that would be cool , FX in korg one are just top quality (not a fan of arturia , while fm8 inabiliy to choose routing is beyound reidicluous since they put choru /delay after the reverb !!!

This explains why i see zero e.piano on the factory DX7 imports ....

Marc , if ya own the arturia , you can also import those ....try it , be sure then to go in option and change velocity to taste (i've found the full velocity setting s better than the DX7 one , i guess they tweaked it for arturia keyboard or some )

@audioschmaudio may i ask what' syour choice software wise for that FM / DX vibe ?

Nope , i have stuff from original synth so i wondered if i could get thos sysex direct or did it needed something else ....

By the way just tried a random bank , yep FM8 import those and even the Arturia one !!! coooool

There's btoo much stuff , any direct link to those DX presets ? If i get the sysex for a DX 7 , can i import those to fm8 or fm8 needs a specific format ?
