  1. Yes thanks Tom!! I am using a beta MidiEQ plugin. It is by Viramor! I requested this plugin. I played this piece on a different sampled piano than the one you hear here. The new piano was too heavy on the left have and had some notes out of balance on the very high end. A few out here and there. MidiEQ is phenominal!! You can adjust the velocity of every single note! The beta is a little hard to make minute adjustments. The next version will be great! I knew someone could write this! I also used CSMidiCompander for midi compression! This song would not be near as good without these 2 plugins. (I could have used the piano roll and spent a few weeks doing this - now I just drag the mouse on an EQ graph!) Thanks for the suggestion - this is the 1st post I have ever changed the tiotle on - didn't even know how! Max Arwood
  2. The Flute Track is expanded in both photos. The tracks left panel not synced to the right panel. This happens right before I lose complete control of Cakewalk. This happens from time to time. Anyone else ever had this happen? Any ideas? 56 Tracks Thanks, Max Arwood Normal Misaligned
  3. I have used autotune in front of oVox. It does seem to help. oVox does some weird pitch shifting stuff not good for all types of songs. Nice for a special effect on a bridge or chorus. Max Arwood
  4. You can use Melodyne to move in pitch and time audio notes. Melodyne will also convert audio to MIDI. Max Arwood
  5. You can also do this by dropping all the old takes in a folder. You and use the top "Folder" lane to trim and do editing like cuts and fades. Then make you new takes outside the folder. Quick groups is even another way to edit all the tracks in a group. Max Arwood

  7. Nice song. I listened to Better Day too. I really like it. Max Arwood
  8. Love that pulsating organ pad. What was it? Good kick and snare pop! Nice song. Like they said Pink floydish in a good way! Max Arwood
  9. Ok next time I will go straight to the events to see what is there. Thanks!
  10. Cover Arrangement - Getting close to finishing this song. I just changed the piano VSTi on this version. Had to tweak the velocities on this one. CSMulticompander was GREAT! Any suggestions. Thanks, Max Arwood https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14039946
  11. Nice job very well done. Always loved that song. Max Arwood
  12. Tom - I think I have everything all set to stay screen drives etc. right clicked all under Device manager USB Controllers and set to not save power. Screen saves and all that stuff off. Gswitz - I loaded the Event viewer, but I don't know what I am looking at LOL! Thanks, Max Arwood
  13. Duh - Thanks!!!! I appreciate all your help! Max Arwood
  14. Wow a drum map! Never thought of that. I saw that it has Velo(+only) and VScale(+ or -). Never used these before so I tried a few notes to see how well it would work. If I finished then it would convert all the songs. Next Question - I have been playing with a drum map. Is there any way to get the percussion dots to look like a normal PVR with lengths when I am finished? This would take a crazy amount of time to do this because there is no specific note where the volume jumps. Each note would have to tweaked. I still might like to look at the note lengths and it is much easier to see the notes with length visible. I wish I could write a 88 note bar chart kind of CSMultiCompander. Thanks, Max Arwood
  15. Last time I posted it was iLok that might have caused this so it was updated. Still having these lockups. 05042020_212103.7z
  16. I could do it in the piano roll by selecting different octaves or 1/2 octaves and dropping by a percent. Lots of trouble. I was hoping some where I could draw a curved line on a graph. The only ones I know about are like CS multicompander. The VST had velocity curves (CFX Concert Grand) but \tThey affect all frequencies and only differentiate by in coming velocity amount. I see where the CAL would work. I haven't studied CAL or written any scripts yet. Not sure If I could do it or not. Thanks, Max ARwood
  17. I can't EQ it because it will mess up the tone so - Midi plugin? The left hand is louder than the right hand a little. It there a fix for this? I would like to scale the velocity by notes. Below middle C slope the volume down, or above C5 slope velocity up. Any Ideas? Thanks, Max Arwood
  18. I'm working on some piano pieces I did 20 years ago - Cakewalk. So you got me beat by one year! LOL! Max Arwood
  19. 1) open new project. 2) right click in track area to add a midi track (Choice #2) or look for a midi track (a white circle with dots in it.) 3) press Alt+6 (use keyboard 6 not numpad 6) 4) you are in staff view - start composing music. (click note value then click on staff Max Arwood
  20. I had a friend telling me how nice it was last week. So 2 friends - installing it now. Had no idea it was that good. I've had K6 for a while and never downloaded many of the sample libraries. Nice demo - Thanks for the reminder! Thanks, Max Arwood
  21. The loop parts remind me of some fruity loops stuff from 21 years ago. Now they call it FL Studio. Good balances - it is mixed well. Did you do some of this outside of Cakewalk? Max Arwood
