Today, I managed to write a unique lyric line: one that has not (as far as search engines are concerned) been used in a song. And it feels so right. It feels like a line that could have existed forever.... but it didn't exist until this afternoon.
It's a great feeling.
I really wanted to like their products. I got the Lite version on launch, I was really enthusiastic about the sound, but it is just too heavy to use in any projects as well as not playing well when bouncing or freezing tracks and projects.
I wish them luck with what could be a really nice plugin, but I feel it needs more development.
Izotope were very polite and prompt in their email to me. I cannot really fault them on their customer service.
The person who wrote to me agreed that the wording was ambiguous and would pass that on to the marketing department. Hopefully next time they will word it better.
So no complaints from me.
I think it's either a mistake in the email, or false advertising to get you to click through, because the bundle is $299 and the individual plugins are $79
I received an email from izotope with an offer on the Balance Bundle for $79, but when I click through to the site, I cannot see it.
Has anyone else seen this offer?

It's always with izotope products. It might be because I'm in Italy.
When I log in to my JRR account and select the izotope product on offer, I get the following message:
For those of us in the EU, Plugin Boutique https://www.pluginboutique.com/ has offers up on izotope products, including bundles.
I mention this because I'm unable to buy izotope products on JRR Shop. It's a shame because, with the exchange rate, I would have been able to pick up some treats for even less.
I second this - as much as I love Spitfire's sound, their players do not always play well with Cakewalk. I've been using BBC Discovery, OPW, Firewood and Intimate Strings for a while, but it's hit and miss on whether the players will crash my session or not.
It might work better in another DAW.
I haven't updated my AAS products for a while. I remember there was an update (this year?) that made it impossible to open several instances of their instruments and caused agonizingly slow performance.
If they've fixed all that, I'm happy to update.
I got Acoustica 6 standard some years back, and I must say it's a very nice smooth glitch free experience. No nonsense installer, small for size and super clean graphics.
I've only used it for cleaning up audio or converting file types, but I like it.
A great substitute for Cook Edit Pro or Sound Forge.
I'm tempted to upgrade to 7. 👍
