  1. are the Windows binaries not signed at all? If they aren't signed, Peter, could this be considered a feature request/bug and investigated, or re-evaluated if a known issue? It has some benefits to your users, and if someone wants a tangible benefit to prioritize something, it helps smooth the install process on Windows. on Mac the product manager seems to be signed but IIRC Apple mandated this for 10.14 or 10.15.
  2. New promotion page design and grouping items by price is nice! Like many here I'm in the category of having almost everything from the last group buy. Great deal for new users. If anyone needs to run them on multiple computers at the same time (simultaneous use, not just installs), I think this could be a nice way of picking up second licenses.
  3. Wasn't able to find this on the product pages -- outside of the multi patches being discussed: is there any difference in the host software between CS and Max? The group buy references the highest level being MAX twice: and Since it hasn't been asked in the thread I imagine it's obvious to everyone else CS plus all the synths is identical to Max and it's safe to unlock all the products in the promotion page and start installing? Or is Max different somehow and would it unlock somehow, therefore we should hold off installing? edited last paragraph for clarity
  4. 5x as expensive per TB though -- already there for two primary drives. 18TB? hopefully someday!
  5. Lemon: Promo of the weekend: €49 (€129) save 61%! https://www.acustica-audio.com/store/products/lemon this one is various delays Camel: Promo of the weekend: €69 (€159) save 56%! https://www.acustica-audio.com/store/products/camel Calrec and Trident For US readers, the Acustica store always operates in euros, and the dollar has been getting stronger at 1.05 dollars per euro vs 1.20 a year ago, so that helps a little as well. For readers in the EU, it's still 1€=1€; sorry for any pain you've had on US-currency storefronts Still active from this week: Emerald and Cola at 70% off.
  6. For Apple users, it seems it's not M1 native yet. I'm still on Intel but hesitant to buy new plugins or upgrades until compatibility is added, or at least committed to. That is notthing against propellerhead, just a thought since another manufacturer recently placed M1 compatibility behind a significant paid upgrade. I know Reason isn't unique in not being m1 native, but we are now one month away from the end of the 2 year platform transition that Apple announced in 2020. I am on the perpetual license path, but isn't this supposed to be a big justification for subscription software, that developers would have the resources and requirement to keep the software current? of course, porting and validating all of Reason is a much bigger undertaking than a single plugin.
  7. multiband stereo imager, possibly similar to the one in Ozone, or Melda's MStereoProcessor? the advertising says the phase limiter is the novel feature; it's discussed in the manual but it seems to reduce the effect as the stereo correlation goes to -1, so you don't get phase-related effects that you would if overusing a stereo enhancer. I don't use that type of plugin much to know how much of a problem that is.
  8. is the 16 based on 1/3 of the purchase price? In case your thought process is the same as mine on some of these promotions, I sometimes mentally calculate 1/3 but the JamPoints actually cap at 30%. They're even rounding the other direction a tiny bit since 30% of $49.99 is 14.997 points. I'm also in for $35 and 15 jampoints
  9. Yes, this made me hesitant to use them frequently even if I'm mostly on one machine and not my laptop much in practice. However they just released v7 which includes 2 ilok activations per license. But v7 is a paid upgrade. Some users seem a bit upset at some aspects of this: they held M1 compatibility behind it, it costs $29 per plugin, and there is limited loyalty discount for upgrading multiple plugins, gearspace is suggesting it starts at 10% off if you upgrade at least 5 plugins. In my case upgrades for 3 of my 4 purchased mcdsp plugins would cost more than what I paid for the plugins originally. note this doesn't affect the deal the original post is talking about; those would probably be v7 licenses from the start
  10. One more - Green4: 79€ (219€) save 74% as usual, loyalty program codes can be used on discounted prices
  11. At first the FAQ was cut off but it has been filled in now. I am sure they have thought this through but this seems a little crazy:
  12. Points 1 and 2, it sounds like owners of the DSP plugins get a permanent native license for free. I am not in the UAD ecosystem but saw this link: https://uadforum.com/general-discussion/56898-uad-spark-22.html#post409347 edit adding that the free license is reported to be iLok dongle or cloud based. I know some people don't use pace.
  13. These sample Taupe: several tape machines. Crimson: Vertigo Sound VSM-2, VSC-2 Amethyst: Amek. via the community at https://justpaste.it/AcusticaAudioAcquaMasterList
  14. $59, and free for existing VLA-2A users
  15. https://www.acustica-audio.com/pages/promos Diamond Lift (Studio DMI collaboration) 60% off Pink (API) 70% off Each €59; loyalty vouchers would discount further.
  16. also not in need of chip sound effects, but does anyone know how it compares with free tools like sfxr and the ones it inspired? some of them are free and browser-based like jfxr: https://jfxr.frozenfractal.com/ similar categories, randomization, etc.
  17. Finally, a professional multi-mic accordion library recorded at a world-class studio.
  18. for Apple users planning to eventually upgrade to a new Mac, note that as of right now Trash 2 is not on the list of plugins iZotope is planning to port to M1 native.
  19. Does Softube calculate upgrade based on the most expensive eligible product owned, but only one such product contributes? I picked up an upgrade to their Volume 5 collection inexpensively recently thanks to this forum. It looks like Volume 2, 3, 4, 5 were released May 2018, May 2019, March 2020, and March 2021. They make good stuff. But there is a chance V6 will be out soon, and maybe they add another amp to it. Nothing's been announced. But the idea of completely losing the cost of a standalone plugin later makes it tough to be impulsive here. at the same time it must be tough to deal with all the paths everyone's coming from. If anyone from softube is listening, maybe this becomes a little simpler with the move away from resellers for the single plugins, if that trend is correct (resellers seem to be carrying Console and Volume now. Edit: jrrshop does have some singles though).
  20. Yes, interesting point. it seems that Hal Leonard owns both groove3 and sheetmusicplus
  21. it's one of the perks for paid groove3 members, and is 20% off a mic that seems to have a street price of $949 US. https://www.groove3.com/perks I imagine the code is unique for each member, but if not I don't think they'd want it to be shared directly
  22. 'Purple-style' never heard that industry term before. this is their Pultec models
  23. Thanks! I have a couple McDSP products, including a prior EC300 license, and they are the same, only one activation, either hardware ilok or cloud.
  24. Amplitube 5 Max, no, does not seem to include the pedals, since they came out later. I think Total Studio 3.5 does include them though: https://youtu.be/kZrpYaeVW-s?t=43 but I'm not certain. I'm on At5 standard plus the various other pieces from the group buy.
  25. from the 'deals' link off the acustica front page, this sale may be: Brown for 65% off: €80 post edit adding that can be reduced further with loyalty vouchers. other sales and intro prices may be running at the same time
