  1. Dante, I also have a 4i4 (3rd gen) and it seems you can get really confused when things are not sounding right, believe me I have spent many an hour trying to unravel this. The trick is in the Focurite Control and how each section is routed. It is great to be able to Mute and send different outputs to speakers, headphones and the Loopback (which I just now was able to get to work on my livestream today and it was fantastic!). Let me know if there is anything I can help you with?
  2. I just discovered this company today and put a very quick livestream together to take a listen. It is a very nice Upright Piano sample library for HALion, HALionSonic and the FREE HalionSonic SE player. Take a look: http://sonicatoms.com/novel-piano/
  3. I have done a couple of videos about installing LABS, it can be a very frustrating endeavor for sure. Thank @TheSteven for sharing your insight on this. Here is the first one I did when LABS was first introduced. Spitfire Audio LABS - How To Install https://youtu.be/PZV8uY6ngU8 This is one I did recently but ran into problems with a few LABS titles that have since been addressed in recent updates. 4. I continue my journey exploring some amazing piano libraries. Yesterday my livestream featured The Grandeur by Galaxy instruments in partnership with Native Instruments. I had a wonderful time sharing and here is an edited replay of the livestream; enjoy!
  5. This offer has been extended for another 24 hours!
  6. I have used my Focusrite 4i4 3rd gen with ODeus and it seems to have worked alright. My recent frustration is with trying to use the 4i4 with VB Audio Voicemeeter. Voicemeeter is very strict as to how it handles ASIO drivers and will not tolerate some ASIO driver, namely Focusrite. I have contacted Vincent who coded Voicemeeter and he confirms there are many issues with how the Focusrite drivers are written. I tried using my PreSonus Studio 6|8 and things were a lot cleaner so I suspect it was indeed the Focusrite ASIO drivers. The 4i4 is a great interface but it seems to fall short in some specific use cases.
  7. Thanks @Matthew Sorrels, just removed these before going live ;^)
  8. Just downloaded this and am planning on doing a really impromptu livestream to demo the patches so it might get very interesting ;^) Join me LIVE a little after 1:00 pm here:
  9. So glad you enjoyed it. Well honestly I was not really thinking about it too much, being a musician in ministry most of my life it is just second nature. I am so grateful for all of the opportunities to share and as I always say the instruments sort of take me into different places which I am always amazed when it happens. Thanks again for watching and the kind words.
  10. I did a livestream featuring My Piano and Scoring Piano, very fun. There was a twilight zone moment so to speak but everything was put back in the right dimension. Live-streams can get pretty crazy at times. Enjoy, and yes please support this effort if you can; last check they had raise around 10,000 euros. 11. Here is a livestream replay featuring Ivory II Grand Pianos and American Concert D. I saw where they have extended special pricing for these at Ilio so I am thinking this would still be good at JRR as well. Very upfront and playable pianos.
  12. I had a wonderful time experiencing Fluffy Audio's Scoring Piano and My Piano. Remember that Fluffy Audio is donating the proceeds from the sale of their My Piano (currently at $10) to help support the medical needs in their area of Lombardy, Italy. Links and more info are in the video description. Tune in here and thanks so much for the support:
  13. I have been working with Morphestra 2 for a few weeks and there are a lot of amazing and wild sounds in this library. I just saw where Audio Plugin Deals has it on sale for $89.99! https://bit.ly/audio_plugin-deals-morphestra2 I was able to do a fun write up and demo for Audio Plugin Deals here: https://audioplugin.deals/blog/alien-inv Here is the video.
  14. This one looks like a lot of fun! Available now at the intro price of $189 (re. $249) until April 15th. https://www.fluffyaudio.com/shop/spaghetti-western/ Conceived as a joke over a year ago, we were looking for something particularly fun and easy to play and settled on this idea. We found it to be an inspiring tool that could strongly drive the hand, the heart and the mind of the composer. As in the desert, where mirages can drive you far away from the planned destination, you’ll find the same happens in Spaghetti Western: time flies and you’ll find yourself wandering the Old West, surrounded by unsavory figures. Not to worry, though; in Spaghetti Western you’ll be equipped with the necessary gear to be the hero of the story.
  15. It is in the house now! I love how this is a very playable and nice sounding Wurli.
  16. Yep, I am having a harder than normal time getting this to download and install so I think you are right that the bandwidth is getting slammed.
  17. Bob, My first thought was they did it with a Yamaha CS-80. I thought I would find a clip of the solo and thought I would watch the official video; I did indeed see the CS-80 but they danced through the solo 😂 I guess the reasons I thought of the CS-80 were; polyphonic after touch and the ribbon controller. I would love to see what you found out. Now to see if I can find a good clip of the actual solo. 😎
  18. WOW! This was a fantastic time tonight exploring this massive sounding piano library, just beautiful. I hope you enjoy watching the replay? Thanks everyone!
  19. Just finished this stream featuring Due from Xperimenta. Xperimenta is an independent sample library developer based in Italy (see my post in deals concerning his Italian hospital relief efforts). Check it out as these are based on a Yamaha C7 and a Yamaha C3 with each having a very distinctive tone and spirit of their own.
  20. This happened to me last night during my Acoustic Pianos Livestream!!! Ack! Will definitely reach out to support to see what was triggering it. I also tried in Cubase 10.5 but same crash. The VST2 also seemed to be causing the crash as well. Watching this thread!
  21. Xperimenta is a wonderful developer in Italy. It is a crazy time for everyone and just looking for ways to help support other musicians and creators as we work through this together. From Flavio's email received today. You will receive his Kitchen Kit and a bonus LoFi Drumkit. Checking it out now. I'm Flavio, from XPERIMENTA Project. My software house is based in Italy and, as you probably know, my country is struggling with the coronavirus emergency. Every day thousands of people are fighting with this virus, but to win the battle is important to have the right medical tools. Every day the news are heartbreaking, and hospitals in the north needs urgent assistance. All the money raised from Kitchen Kit will be sent to the Italian hospitals of Milan and Bergamo to buy life support machines, and the Spallanzani Research Institute. You can learn more about this project as well as his other instruments (especially his DUE Piano library for Kontakt) here: https://www.xperimentaproject.com/ Here is an interesting video featuring his Kitchen Kit.
  22. OK, so the piano train keeps rolling along 😀 One of my viewers asked to do a vid focusing on SampleTank4's acoustic pianos so here we are. I hope you enjoy watching and find it fun and informative. Thanks as always!
  23. Well SSDs are definitely the way to go. The new system I put together at the first of the year includes 2 1TB NVME drives, a 2TB SSD, 500gb C:\ Drive, a 120 GB Project Drive and way too many External USB3 drives for system images and project archives. Oh, just a heads up you can follow me on Twitter @praisetracks and subscribe to my channel as I have been doing mostly livestreams lately on playing through libraries and such. I am looking at going through the SampleTank 4 pianos and later this week the Garritan/Abbey Road Yamaha CFX piano library. I have just been having a crazy time working out some video glitches. Thanks for the humor and support, I definitely want to approach things in an objective, honest and transparent way. One of my greatest blessings is to have had the opportunity of actually playing most of the piano models represented in the libraries I review. Last year around Christmas I actually was able to play a real Yamaha CFX which NOIRE and now the Garritan/Abbey Road piano was based on. I am very grateful to be able to share with all of you. See you on The YouTube
  24. Well, it’s almost like asking the question can God create something so heavy, He could not lift it....hmmm oh, and you have not hear the Garritan/Abbey Road CFX Grand or Impact Soundworks Pearl yet! (coming soon). I will have to think about this some more....what was that ? It sound like a gunsho 💥
