  1. I have a Pro Tools Perpetual license with the support through Nov 2023 (just short of two years). I haven't been using it and was considering selling it. I was wondering what a fair price would be. The perpetual license goes for $599 with a year of support, with support after that $199 a year ($798 value). If I asked $575 which would include the Avid transfer fee, would that be a fair price? Are people still interested in the perpetual license, or are people using the subscription. Any thoughts would be appreciated. If this shouldn't be here, please feel free to remove it (or just yell at me, and I'll blank it out). Thanks.
  2. Just a note, that the ACE plugins are open-source and come from the Ardour open-source DAW https://ardour.org/features.html
  3. If you can show the structure of the folders (I don't own any Acustica products). I could recommend a solution.

  5. Just a note, that the instruments on Pianobook are all free (and a great resource I need to spend more time with). This advent calendar is for featuring the samplists who create the instruments.
  6. Thanks a lot Reid. 😞 I was going to pass on this, but you made we watch the videos. You can use the 10% off at Time+Space, or just sign up for their newsletter and get an instant 10 off. (I bought at their site) What put me over the edge is that you CAN use your own samples!

  18. Yea, they have a huge base of samples to pull from, so it gives them a way to repurpose (in some cases). Although they are also doing new samples for some instruments.
  19. I guess then maybe this is only better for US based people. For example, for me: Plugin Boutique - Oscillation Strings - $64.00 Loot Audio - Oscillation Strings - $54.92 Sorry for the confusion.

  24. Just a note that Syn'X 2 is on the XILS web site: https://www.xils-lab.com/products/syn-x-p-134.html This is the second time I've seen an older XILS product on sale at JRR, not sure what is up with that. Also don't know what the upgrade prices to Syn'X 2 would be. So if you are interested, I'd recommend you check it out with XILS first.
