  1. The only collections I don't own are Dimebag Darrell (which I don't think I'll ever want) and the new Mesa/Boogie 2 collection (which I'd like to have, but isn't on sale). So, nothing for me.
  2. OK, so they haven't abandoned the AD2 and AK executable, but where's the new content? There hasn't been a new drum kit released in the last 4-5 years and even longer for a new keyboard.
  3. The cheapest way to get the Soundtoys bundle is to buy as many individual plugins on sale/free as possible. It took me a couple of years, but I saved about $200 doing it that way. I also just noticed that there was a minor update of the bundle to v5.3.6. Don't know what changed. The release notes page came up blank for me. They must have run that page through Decapitator. 🤣 EDIT: Just found this. Looks like v5.3.6 has been around for awhile. Missed it on release. 5.3.6 Update October, 20, 2021 Fixed an issue where Effect Rack could crash when doing an offline render to a new sample rate with VST. Fixed an issue where Effect Rack could produce an incorrect “out of automation slots” alert during an offline render. 5.3.5 Update September 30, 2021 Fixed issues with offline rendering in certain hosts, where the effect might have a delayed onset or undesirable fade in. Fixed audio artifacts that could happen when editing modulation patterns during playback. Fixed issue where events could be edited to 0 level and then no longer modified. Effect Rack now resets delay buffers on preset changes. Fixed an issue with PhaseMistress sound for certain 2-stage phaser styles. Fixed an issue where Effect Rack could crash on load in Reaper on Windows. Pattern editor stability improvements. 5.3.4 Update March 30, 2021 Fixed CPU Spiking in Bitwig when certain plug-ins were on an instrument channel. Fixed incorrect license expiration warning that would appear in certain circumstances. Fixed bug where Effect Rack could lose signal after re-ordering effects in certain circumstances. Fixed issue where EchoBoy could crash while changing presets during audio playback. Added new transport indicator to Rhythm Editors to convey current location within a pattern. Stability improvements for Windows versions. 5.3.3 Update December 10, 2020 Added support for macOS Big Sur (11). Fixed minor graphics issues in macOS Big Sur. Fixed issue where plug-ins would sometimes crash on instantiation in GarageBand or Maschine on macOS Catalina. Improved handling of bad floating point values. Fixed graphical issues with pattern editors. Fixed tempo sync during offline render in certain plug-ins. Fixed issue where delay of dry signal path in Little AlterBoy did not match host DAW delay compensation. Fixed issue where Decapitator would flood undo history with AutoGain changes in Ableton. Eliminated low level noise from MicroShift. Adjusted levels of Decapitator’s “Dark Drive” preset. Added numpad and arrow key support for string controls. Improved mouse tracking behavior in preset menus. Fixed Effect Rack crash that could happen during certain preset changes. Fixed “Waveform and Rhythm Too Complicated” alert in certain rhythm presets. Fixed Tremolator crashing on selection of “12 Bar Roller” rhythm preset. Fixed Organize command disappearing from the preset menu in certain situations. Fixed rare crash on recall with multiple Effect Rack instances in Ableton.
  4. I forgot about the BF sale. About the same price. It's still worth it. A fine bit of software, it is. [Just watched the latest episode of Boba Fett with Grogu and the Mandalorian; stuck on Yoda-speak 🤣]
  5. Acoustica Premium is excellent. It loads quicker than any other audio app I own. Great UI. I bought it to replace SpectraLayers and was surprised at everything else that came with it. Acon Digital's Restoration Suite is included. No need to deal with iZotope RX (I've had trouble with two different iZotope products not being scanned successfully by plugin scanners, so uninstalled both). About the only Acon Digital add-on NOT included is their DeVerberate plugin. If you do any spoken audio recording, Acoustica becomes very useful. I started with Standard. Liked it so much that I uninstalled SpectraLayers and purchased the full-price upgrade to Premium. No regrets. I don't recall Acon Digital ever doing a sale of this magnitude themselves, so this is a great deal. A nice "hidden" feature is that the Acoustica dev is very responsive!

    PSP L'otary

I haven't used this in awhile (it's a good emulation), but I remember it being kind of a CPU hog.
  7. It's 7h30 here in France. Not up yet here, either. Bwaaaaaaaaaaa.
  8. I received that email, too. Wonder what took them so long?
  9. Some peeps seem to be hung up on the size of the UDS (Ultra Deep Sampled) instruments. A normally sampled version, significantly smaller (equivalent to other companies typical sampled VIs), is available of each of those instruments. The UDS versions are meant for true professionals, which does NOT describe me.
  10. FWIW, v1.04 was released on 17 December. I 've been running it for some time.
  11. Modern U was on a BF sale, but still pricey. I waited, due to other VI purchases. But I want it. Bad! These are three excellent pianos, but still a teaser for the Ravenscroft.
  12. Try asking the dev (Benjamin Botkin) to provide MusicXML files in addition to the Cubase CPR files. Should be easy enough for him to do.
  13. Terrible translation. "Free selection out of 50 packs". Or "from" instead of "out of", which is the more literal translation.
  14. I can't even find where they're installed.
  15. The website says that Stunning Phaser will be released as a v1 early next year. I'll believe it when I see it. It's been in v0.52 beta for the last 4 years without being touched (after the dev threw a hissy fit over some comments he got on it). I haven't even installed it on my new DAW machine, but I still have the license file.
  16. Excellent monitors for the price! I owned the previous version (D2) for years, and was very happy with them. I had to sell them due to 120VAC only, when I moved to France.
  17. That's odd. In my experience, they offer all of the packs you don't already own to select your Xmas present from.
  18. Analog Lab 5 was also updated. I assume it was to support the new Pigments features.
  19. They're identical. This isn't like later releases where the associated MIDI pack provided additional MIDI grooves to those provided in the EZX release. Maybe that's something they started when EZD2 was released. The Americana MIDI pack is for those who don't want to buy the EZX, but what the MIDI. Pure duplication.
  20. Not exactly. From the bottom of that product page: Please note that this is the same MIDI as included in the Americana EZX.
  21. I have generally avoided EZD 1.4 libraries (16-bit), but this looks like a good one, and using points, I got it for 15 € ! Done deal! The sale price on Toontrack is 45 €, so this is a bargain addition to my SD3 library.
