  1. When I insert a midi track or split an instrument track, the midi track starts with a 5-pin din icon. I just inserted a soft synth (simple synth), changed it green with the track color picker , and then split it. The MIDI track was green, the audio track was the default color. Did you test all insertion methods, all background color selection methods, various sequencing of saving and reloading the project, moving tracks, etc.? I don't have the time to try the various combinations at the moment. Sometimes factors like these change results. Hope this helps. Test 2: Inserted a MIDI track, inserted an instrument, changed the color of each to green, pointed each to the same instance of the soft synth, merged them into an instrument track, changed the color to purple, split the combined track. Result: Midi Track was purple, Instrument/Audio Track was green.
  2. That was it. It was still in my cart from the last time it was $37 and disappeared at that price, so it was billing me twice tonight. I had already cancelled it, so it was back to zero, but by stepping through the pages, I saw that there were two in the cart.
  3. It said $37 in the cart, but then when I went to pay it said $74. Hmmmmm.
  4. That's what I wondered, too. Peter replied that it was added to everyone's account. My second guess is that it was easier to do that than to try to program the system to just give it to those who needed it. My third guess is so that if we paid for the full version we now have an option to sell it and keep the CS version. My first guess was something about it being a tax benefit by giving something free to people who don't need it. That one was intended as a joke but who knows? I am not a tax accountant.
  5. Yes. Peter said this in his aggregated reply to several posts. It was after he quoted me.
  6. July 2022: In essence "Cakewalk by Bandlab" refers to the Windows software known as "Cakewalk" and is owned by and available from the company known as "Bandlab." This forum is for Cakewalk software, not the web-based mobile app known simply as "Bandlab." That being said, if you have a Windows computer and want to use Cakewalk, it is possible to export Bandlab files and import them into Cakewalk.
  7. Have you tried contacting Bandlab? https://help.bandlab.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404926548121-How-do-I-contact-BandLab-
  8. Re: Frank Zappa and the Dangers of Fascist Theocracy. More proof that Zappa was ahead of his time. The PMRC was child's play by comparison to what has happened since he passed away.
  9. I never used the MixBox presets, gave these a try, and discovered a "different" use for MixBox. I know some experimentalists that play around with Zero-Input Mixer performances. I suppose its a sub-genre of noise. They use hardware, including some DIY devices. I have wondered if its possible just with software and by booting MixBox (standalone), selecting some of the presets, and then playing with the parameters, I have decided, "Yes, it is possible!" Warning: Noise Jams may be hazardous to the health of your hearing!
  10. (1) Confirmed on my PC. (2) Thanks, Peter. (3) As surmised above, each of the 5 MixBox SSSR modules exposes the 3 or 4 parameters found on the front panel plus the slot on/off parameter. JMO: IK Customers who are use the full T-RackS 5 version and who are used to customizing SSSR settings will probably want to continue that approach. For those circumstances when MixBox is used, for $7 (+ $3 in Jam Points) it is nice to have some options. Caveat: I tested the new MixBox SSSR modules in a Voltage Modular performance patch I have been working on. Since mine is an older PC (2011 era), they require a trifle more CPU than I am willing to spare. Not a big issue for me since (1) I have a hoard of other reverbs and (2) for performance purposes, I really do favor delay!!! I defer to others with newer computers (probably everyone here) for opinions on other uses.
  11. Thanks for posting them for the benefit of others (who might not have the time to click on the link I included). I would have posted it myself, but I am too lazy to remove some of my earlier maxed out images, to set up a folder somewhere for additional images, apply for and figure out how to use a third-party image hosting site, etc. Besides which, I enjoy playing with music / audio software much more than visual and hosting software!!
  12. Thanks for the screenshot! It jogged my memory and I found the IK page that displays the MixBox SSSR modules. For the time being (until I learn otherwise), I will assume that at most the specific parameters exposed by the MixBox Studio 1 [SSSR-based] modules are the 3*** or 4**** found on the faceplates plus the general slot parameter*. *** pre-delay, decay, mix ****pre-delay, decay, mix, plate 1/plate 2 * slot on/off Footnote: I examined a number of IK resources on MixBox CS as well as the full version of MixBox updated to 1.5.0 and cannot find any differences. So, I am hoping that the free MixBox CS added to my account was an administrative error and people like me with valid licenses for both of MixBox and T-RackS 5 Sunset Reverb should have gotten a free license for MixBox-SSSR Expansion . That makes sense to me. A free license for MixBox CS makes zero sense. And yes, I am an optimist and I believe that Peter can help sort this and the other issues out on behalf of loyal IK customers as he has done before.
  13. @abacab Thanks for the details. You have inspired me to try navigating IK's support ticket system for the eligibility issue. (Yes, I know its a pre-sales issue v. yours which is a technical issue, but who knows.) I have a few presets-in-progress in Voltage Modular that use MixBox and its rack board UI can be very handy. Each of the 8 slots has up to 20 parameters exposed including a slot on/off for each, plus there are 4 Rack Parameters (Power, Input Level, Output Level, and Bypass). If multiple MixBox, T-RackS 5, and T-RackS 5 Sunset Sound Reverb licenses don't qualify me for either a free MixBox SSSR Expansion or the under $10 deal, I will pass. Its easy enough to put other T-RackS modules into VM. Update: MixBox --> non-MixBox SSSR works. SSSR exposes 7 parameters (Input, Dry, Wet, HP Freq, Low, High, LP Freq) plus Bypass (not On/Off). Interesting: When Bypassed, the 7 parameters can be changed remotely as the other SSR UI Parameters, but the new settings don't take effect until SSSR is unbypassed remotely. I am wondering how the MixBox SSSR compares, esp: (1) How many and which parameters are exposed? and (2) are the (a) SSSR presets (29 Inserts and 29 Sends) selectable via MixBox and (b) are the Reverb Types and their individual options exposed? No longer wondering about this after looking at the 5 MixBox SSSR-based modules (as explained below).
  14. Yes, I have Objeq Delay. (In fact, I might even have a second license somewhere.) I like it. The modelled parameters add a nice touch. At first had been wishing it had midi learn for the knobs, but then I discovered the parameters are exposed in both the dll and the vts3. The vst3 version also allows for program changes (not bank switching, though, so far as I can see). It also works well in Voltage Modular.
  15. I thought the saying was, "You can never have too many delays, delays, delays, delays, delays, delays . . . ." And I have enough of those, too! ๐Ÿ˜œ
  16. I finally made the time to check. I have two different T-Racks Sunset Sound Reverb licenses as well as two versions of T-Racks 5 MAX, one from before SSR was added and one from after it was added. Maybe at some point there will be another version that has the new SSR modules and presets (maybe others, too). I hear voices telling me, "You have plenty of reverbs already!!!!!!" I don't think they are the voices of my ancestors reaching out to me from the pool of universal consciousness. It think they are memories of other experiences where I jumped on the bandwagon and had buyer's remorse. The divine works in mysterious ways! ๐Ÿ˜‰
  17. So after updating Mixbox to 1.5.0 and deciding that I didn't need to see the greyed out options, I reverted to 1.2.0. Not sure if I need to delete 1.5.0 first because 1.2.0 still has the SSSR presets but they cause MixBox to crash (i.e., sudden shut down).
  18. I have a number of things I can Transfer (Syntronik, TS2MAX, MixBox, Syntronik Deluxe, and maybe TS3.5 MAX), but since SSSR was purchased as part of a large bundle, evidently I am not eligible. Thanks for the suggestion. I give up. Why? ๐Ÿ˜œ Seriously, though, has anyone figured out why consumers who have MixBox need Mixbox CS? Does it add anything that the updated Mixbox doesn't have. Maybe IK accountants use it for a tax advantage?
  19. IIRC, I have 3 MixBoxes: one as a separate purchase, one that came with TS MAX 2, and a third that came with TS MAX 3.5. I also have several licenses for T-RackS, and at least one for SSSR. Evidently, I don't qualify because I don't have TR-500-SSSR-DD . I assume that's SSSR purchased individually at full price as a single product. As I have said before, I do not understand IK Multimedia's modus operandi. Yeah--I bought it as a single product before I knew a whole lot about how IK does business. To me it does seem silly that if someone purchased SSSR as a single, they qualify, but not someone who purchased MixBox. Situation Normal . . . ? Well, according to the Custom Shop, I have SSSR as a T-RackS Reverb. As a Collection, I also have the T-RackS 5 Max Upgrade. Maybe if I Restore My Purchases . . . . ? Nope. Its $50.00 no matter what. Forgot to mention: Product Manager was kind enough to tell me MixBox CS was added to my account. What's that other saying? Don't look at a gift too closely? ๐Ÿ˜œ Found my original invoice for MixBox. Because I owned Syntronik, I qualified for the Crossgrade edition (MX-BOX-DDC-IN). Maybe that invalidates eligibility? Or maybe it was invalidated because I got SSSR as part of the T-RackS 5 MAX Upgrade as part of the TS 3.5 Update? I think somewhere the IK rules says Crossgrades and Upgrades don't count for things like this. My headache from a couple of weeks ago is back with a vengeance.
  20. This is scary--"could improve text readability!!" Syntronik is is much more readable (text and images) than Syntronik 2 on my PC. Evidently the folks at IK have a way of optimizing UIs so that they look better for some users and look worse for others. Oh, well. As the saying goes, "You can't fight City Hall."
  21. Just think of it as a persistent reminder to upgrade to TS MAX 4 when it comes out. ๐Ÿ˜œ
  22. MP2 presets work under ST3. To me that says its a ST3 based library. No?
  23. Thanks for the additions. From my own tests, I understood both of these points. When I wrote this: I didn't mean just parameter settings, but the state in which it was saved, including the UI. It is a royal pain to not have the all of the previous state information staring me in the face when I open up the project and to have to go looking for it each and every time I open the project for every instance of the plug-in. It is a serious workflow killer. Possibly I did misunderstand something, though. I thought you were saying (or implying by the context of the Topic) that this issue was new with the Syntronik 2.0.4 update. If you were saying/implying that, I am still not sure that is true based on my preliminary investigations. Sorry for the hastiness of this reply; I spent a bit of time exploring the bug and don't have the time at the moment to elaborate with more details on how it is a workflow killer. Besides which, I don't have time to reinstall Syntronik 2 plus I have a few other things to test in a search for some satisfactory workarounds.
