Yes, you have to download and run a 1.5 gig installer to get the freebie. I just deleted all the others from my vst folder, didn't seem to cause a problem.

There is a bug in XO when using it in Cakewalk. If you try to Export WAVs, and press the required Render WAVs button, it will hang when creating Stems (if you have updated to 1.1) and the Beat as WAV. This process causes a drop out in the Cakewalk audio engine, so you will need to press the Cakewalk Run/Stop audio engine button to get it to continue. You may need to press the button numerous times to get it to complete. XLN is aware of the problem, but don't have a fix yet. Exporting MIDI does not have this problem.

Yes, if you use Search and Filter (magnifying glass) you can specify which sample folders are included in the Space display.

Everybody is trying to update now, wait a day or 2 and the speed will be back to normal.

I had something similar a few weeks ago. Go to Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Manage Audio Devices, select your audio card, then properties, check the Advanced tab to make sure the update didn't change your Default format.

I've got Acid Pro 8 rewired as a slave to CbB and it works as expected. I have 6 additional stereo ports and 6 additional mono ports sending audio to CbB. There is 1 trick though, if you need to change the number of additional audio ports, you need to run Acid as administrator.

If I remember correctly this product was abandoned a couple of years ago, and never worked properly in Sonar/CbB. It's looping function would stop working after a couple of iterations. This may be a new and improved version, but I'm not sure. I gave up on it long ago, though it did seem like a good idea. You had to upgrade to liquid music to get the newer version of liquid rhythm and it wasn't worth it for me.

Moxica, is the play button green, and the record red (on your keyboard)? If not press SHIFT and the middle button on the right (above the big wheel) to change modes.

My a49 arrived yesterday, so it's firmware was not current. You may already have the current firmware. I updated KK from Native Access, the firmware updater came from somewhere else

I did a firmware update yesterday, I think the first time I launched KK. It downloaded a firmware updater that had to be run separately. Don't recall where it can from or if it is relevant to this functionality or not. I will check to see if I can find the link.

I didn't have to do anything. It seems setting up the midi devices properly takes care of it. I have Komplete Kontrol running in this project, and can play and record midi with it, and the transport controls work as expected. Pressing SHIFT and the middle button on the right changes the KK mode from plugin to midi, but it works in either mode.

Thanks msmcleod, got my a49 transport controls to work (using your Mackie surface enhancement), now off to try with Studio One. Or maybe quit while I'm ahead and play with it here in CbB. My a49 just arrived yesterday, so this update to Komplete Kontrol came at a very good time for me.

If you are willing to wait until December, they usually have a sale and the upgrade is $99.

I set up Kontakt 6 last week and created some track templates for the configurations I typically use, 2 stereo pairs, 4 stereo pairs and 16 mono outs (for drums). Then use Insert from Track Template to load the configuration you need.

I just put vst2_bin as scook did and it worked great (didn't rename it). I inserted the instrument, loaded up a patch I did with VCVRack, and it actually recorded the audio without needing to route it to an aux track.
