Should I be sad that I won’t particularly benefit from this additional tier of 7 free because I already own everything available?! Somehow that line of my thinking is a bit whacked!! Kind of like ‘I dont want to pay more taxes, so I better not earn more money!’ May everyone who gets another IKM software title because of the next added tier totally enjoy and prosper with the new addition to their collection!

Just went to 'My Promotions' which show I have a few picks available. Both Ampeg SVX and Ampeg SVX2 are still available for me.

I did get the Fender collection 2 which was listed at $149 on the promotion list. I could not get the Lurrsen Mastering Console, as it didn't show up in my list of available promotions. Dyna-Mu for $124.99 also showed up on the list, but I already have that processor.

Drop IKM a line and ask about shipping to the U.K. On top of the value added post manufacturing, pre consumer scheme, called by many different names, shipping could be a bit depending on the locations of their warehouse. Interesting question as to the usefulness of using this MEM mic for a general recording. Perhaps I might try it out and compare to one of my regular mics! But Right now that isn’t something I could do quickly. May take a few days. or so. And of course it’s only my very unsubjective opinion. After reading my response, it’s incredible how plainly unhelpful I can be at times. Cheers!

The MEM mic comes with the ARC 2.5 cross grade for $99. I think the crossgrade price is for anyone who already owns some level of an IKM product.

While many would say I need a chord track for musical continuity, perhaps I do and perhaps I don’t. But if Cakewalk walk brought this in a functional way, I would be back to CbB 100% of the time.

I received the ARC 2.5 with mic yesterday. All at the cross grade price of $99. Very prompt handling and shipping. I had been looking at this for awhile, but the full price, non-group promotion wasn’t in my wallet. I do have the Sonarworks headphone edition, but wanted something to help look at my overall big ideas, but tiny room office! Registered and authorized. It does seem like I can choose some slightly higher priced items through the current group promotions. Like others I do wish some of the SampleTank instruments were part of this. I would almost guarantee they will be next year. Now, what else to choose? That some day, I might even use!

FedEx says the ARC with mic should be here today. I assume that then I will be able to register it and officially become a group buy participant. I am also waiting for a AirPowered fence staple gun from Amazon to repair some wire fencing out in the pasture. I will have to have all my witts about me trying to decide which tool to use where!

Well, it did finally go through! So we will see what happens in the next few days with processing and shipping of the mic. Oh, and the price was $99, minus a few Jam Points I had, and the addition of $12.99 for shipping. And as I write this, I note under 'My Orders' that IKM says it has been shipped. My experience with companies these days is that 'has been shipped' is the new 'its in the queue to have a shipping label printed!'

I noticed IKM also had ARC system 2.5 with mic for $99 cross-grade as part of the group buy. That would interest me. But the two times I have tried to check out with this I have gotten an unspecified error. Later I will try again.

I purchased this several months ago, and I really like it. It adds a whole new dimension of tones to a few of my guitars. I had been using a Fishman Aura Spectrum, and frankly I was never quite satisfied with it for recording. Definitely worth a trial download.

I got rid of the XLN AAX plug-ins about a month ago, and I was wondering why XLN said an install needed to be repaired when I updated yesterday. Thanks for mentioning this!

Just as a reminder: To use Spectralayers pro v6 as ARA2 in Studio ONE v 4.5, you have to press hold the alt key down and drag Spectralayers from the Effects browser onto the selected audio event/clip (s) you want to manipulate. So, still an extra step as compared to Melodyne. OOPS! Left out that this was for Studio ONE only. Not for CbB, nor Cubase, nor any other DAW that has ARA2 that I know.

Does this include the new outhouse sounds?

This procedure got it registered into my account, and licensing and install were smooth. Not sure if I will use it, but it will be one more Waves plugin to consider not WUP’ing in the future!
