  1. It tells me that I need Lindell series ... aaaand have a little ADHD (which I don't)
  2. I'm dropping a single VST3 plugin file into the default VST3 folder then Cakewalk scans and reports 2 new plugins added. Adding VST2 plugins works as normal. I have only default paths, nothing added there, no 32-bit folder as well. Anybody had that issue before?
  3. ah yes, DCO-160 is surprisingly heavy on my mighty frail i5 Latitude cpu, two DCO's in one project surely are begging for that freeze button
  4. I'm speaking about this one: https://www.jrrshop.com/jrr-sounds-orchestral-percussion-vol-1 maybe they don't plan to give it out as a freebie but I saw an "orchestral kit" mentioned too in one of my jrrshop emails
  5. How many did you get, 20? Have you got the one called Orchestral vol.1? I saw it was advertised as freebies on some emails from jrrshop but I don't have it.
  6. and I just went for that one to check out what it is... I thought it's similar to Waves' Doubler in the core idea
  7. AAX for ProTools $254.66 VST for Windows $25,46 iOS for iPhone $2,54 Dat what.
  8. Well, the latest version of Sitala is updating the drum names in Cakewalk's PRV now. A next step, like implementing something called the Light Guide in Cakewalk, to highlight Kontakt libraries' keyswitches colors next to the PRV keys would be very welcome life improvement .
  9. Just don't enter the forum in just the pants.
  10. Was the Orchestral Percussion Vol.1 Set already on offer?
  11. How do you smooth out the tempo changes in Cakewalk? To extract tempo from a clip you need to drag the clip onto time bar.
  12. No worry, I'll let them know. I had no problem with another AVA plugin - the EQ.
  13. Found the 5th plugin - it's Morphoder. Two more left, but I don't see anything more missing from Waves. I guess I might have a basic idea of what happened. Not so long ago I upgraded some Waves plugins V11->V12 - only a few of the bunch, those that was still covered with WUP, And I did it only through the web account on another pc, didn't update anything locally yet. That leaves a question however, how in the world did my desktop setup, the one I wasn't using for a long while, know that I have upgraded some of the Waves plugins in the meantime? Because I didn't touch anything there, and the plugins that got upgraded disappeared with the next Cakewalk start. It suggests that Waves is calling home servers during the scan...? Think I'll have to update Waves Central and recover missing plugins, then I'll see how much will I get back.
  14. No changes in the VST path nor folders. I keep everything under the Cakewalk's default path only. And yes, I do both VST2 and VST3 but that was never an issue in all years. @msmcleod thanks, you may be onto something. I've ran through my Waves plugin list and did find 4 of them missing so far. Berzerk, Abbey Roads Chamber, and both the bass instruments: Fingers and Slap. Not sure how that would result in 7 (or so) plugins missing in total, but at least it's a good start. BTW you don't have to pay extra WUP to keep using your old Waves plugins, I never did and I have a collection of V9 alongside the new ones installed without WUP and they are working without issues. The Waves guys don't tell you that straight, and they don't make it work out of the box, but you can keep using your WUPed and non-WUPed plugins at once, you just have to dig a bit on the Waves website and read some info prior on how to make it work because they don't make it obvious. That's how it is with Waves.
  15. I have quite a fresh Windows 10 Pro OS, built around a year ago from a clean install. Been adding plugins to my growing collection for a while, all in the default Cakewalk VST folder, until I stopped a couple month ago. Then a few weeks ago I had a break where I had not used this PC until yesterday. When I opened Cakewalk yesterday I noticed that I'm missing 2 plugins (vstscan notification said "2 removed"). Then I closed and opened Cakewalk the second time right away and the scan notification said that it added about 15 new plugins and removed about 20 (don't remember the exact numbers). The point is, now I'm permanently missing few plugins (I believe 7) even though I didn't do anything to them since months. Have never seen something like this in years of using Cakewalk. Anyone has an insight what's going on here?
  16. Yep, the generousness was highly unintentional.
  17. I have had looong similar issues with AVA Deesser. It used to crash Cakewalk when trying to close the plugin GUI window or delete it from fx bin. Since a more recent versions of Cakewalk it makes Cakewalk completely vanish if I try to delete the plugin from fx bin the second time i.e. first load and delete plugin is ok, but following with loading and delete makes Cakewalk vanish without any warning. Would need to check it on my other computer where I have even more recent version of Cakewalk, but there used to be a crash typically too.
  18. Larry's hidden gift for multiplying deals.
  19. And don't forget about DCO-106 from Cherry Audio which is $25 . Personally I would place it between Arturia and Roland Cloud version in terms of the sound, that price makes it even more sweet deal.
  20. Oooooh... my wishful thinking had me seen this thread title as: IK Sunset Reverb for $19! Probably too much time spent on this forum
