  1. Always on a lookout for the greatest clavi ITB! Will check out these, thanks.
  2. And just when I was silly enough to think that I don't need anymore plugins from sonible, they came up with these: https://www.audiodeluxe.com/brand/sonible?f[0]=bm_field_on_sale_now%3Atrue
  3. I was always interested in the difference between these two, sonically.
  4. I have a few libraries for UVI Workstation, from Acoustic Samples, Gospel Musicians and UVI, and I highly appreciate them. So that's that 😉.
  5. I just read the OM for RD1000 and indeed, while there are 64 presets, only 8 are sort of a factory presets, the rest are just user editable variations. So you may be right in that MKSensetion has all the 8 core presets, but then they added a few additional layers from O1W, TX816, and some popular among gospel keyboard players acoustic pianos, synth strings, pads and stacks, kind of what VGSG is doing. Pretty sure Xtreme will have way more on offer, also to me it looks like there are many sounds from FMTines and Neo Soul Keys mixed in it. If one is going to sample a synth like DX/SY or MKS, it takes a huge amount of samples across all keyboard with many velocity layers, or cleverly designed filters, to make it work well. That's why these ones from GM, VGSG and Audiolounge do sound good and are playable. But 1 velocity layer... man that's a major disappointment 😄 if they didn't program a clever filters, which I wouldn't expect for this price, than it will sound nothing like the real MKS once you start playing with different dynamics.
  6. I would have hoped it added some subtle ambiance for better, more true effect. That's what I thought the 'air' was there for.
  7. I think it's to add "air" to your recording.. the lowpass is only for control the air added.

    Gone again!

Hoping to hear from you soon!
  9. Correct, it's called Blue3. BTW, I was trying to find a Wurlie at RealSamples website but I failed miserably😅. I'ts possible you meant AcousticSamples?
  10. I have Rhodes Affair 2 and 3 and they are very playable and sound just right out of the box. But they are only a subset of the most popular/used sounds from the hardware, as is MKSensation (I have the Kontakt version, not the Xtreme.. yet:). But a good selection. The VGSG Music I didn't know until your post, which is a bit head-scratching 😄
  11. Craig how do you rate the Hollow Sun VKS-20? I'm not bothered with small footprint, actually that's on bright side for me. But sound quality is in the first, playability a close second. I have MKSensation from GM which sounds sensational and recently bought JX-08 boutique. Now I'm wondering over VKS-20
  12. We had a couple discussions here on forum about Boz dropping the PC support. After Cakewalk comeback with Bandlab there was time he had been considering bringing it back but nothing happened, sadly. To anyone who did upgrade T-Bone to version 2, is it installing alongside the old version 1? I wouldn't want to loose the first version.
  13. acha, now I see the tiny small detail I should have added (but didn't think it's relevant, since maximized is also custom height, right?)
  14. I can confirm that's what has been always happening here for me too after project reopen, on any PC I have/had. I have workspaces off and I never touch screensets.
  15. Oh, great! Happy for you
  16. Did you mean the free soundbank added to purchase for free by a chance?
  17. My roundtrip stays the same low no matter I'll Hoover the Excalibur over the Strat Strip or not (obviously all ITB)
  18. For that you might want to check out this (whether it goes on sale during BF I don't know) wavelet-audio.com/ashen-scoring-cello/ and this little gem as well insanitysamples.com/products/cello-one-expressive-solo-cello
  19. Thanks simon, I'm only looking to have just one of their libraries, and it's quite a recent one, the Gospel EZX and EBX. Obviously that would require buying the base EZ Drummer and EZ Bass version. I'm in no hurry so knowing when the cheapest price is most possible over the year would give me more comfort in making my wallet ready, these are not the cheapest purchases for me.
  20. When it's best time to look for best prices on Toontrack's EZ Drums and EZ Basses in the year, Black Friday, Christmas or yet another time, like summer sale etc?
  21. Plugin Boutique has recently made some changes to their payment policy.
  22. I remember having exactly same problem a few years ago on a 32-bit 2ghz core 2 duo laptop with integrated intel GPU, Win7 and Sonar Platinum. My project was short but there was a massive amount of midi control change data in it, and once it crossed some weight the UI lag started to be apparent to the point I had to wait about 30sek after moving a single event for Sonar to accomplish it, making editing in PRV hopeless. I don't know if both our cases have same root but if yes then it may be hiding there deep for long time.
  23. Oh yes, that quick-groupable effects on/off on all selected tracks with one click is a serious feature pretender for mixing indeed, I've been missing it in Cakewalk for years. Looks like we're now closer than ever to it. Maybe a feature request?
