  1. Best way I found is if you have enough JP, buy 100 gear credits ($99) and use 30 JP to bring the price down to $70. Then use those 100 GC to buy MB2 in the CS. Other than that, it's use the $20 discount or pay the full $99.
  2. OK, it is in AT5 CS. It's hard to find. To buy it you have to choose Gear Credits or CC/Paypal. If you do Gear Credits, it doesn't appear to give any discount (IOW no $20 off for previous owners). If you use CC or PAYPAL, it will take you to the IK webstore. And I am also assuming that you will get the $20 off for being a registered user of something from IK.
  3. Seems it's not available in the CS yet. It may not be offered there at all. IDK. Can't use any Jam Points with it. The $20 discount is all I can get. I am assuming that no/none of the improved IR responses are not available in AT CS, so the IR tech that comes with this MB2 won't be available to just AT5 CS users. I am thinking that only AT% full version users will have access to the new speaker tech. But it's not really clear on the IK website.
  4. This requires NO PREVIOUS VERSION OF AMPLITUBE! Works inside of the new and improved AT CS. Lots of questions to be answered.
  5. The 1tb version is $96. Not a bad deal. These are good drives. The 4tb is $359. And that's not a bad deal at all either. Good drives. Good prices.
  6. Pulp Fiction Forest Gump Wizard Of Oz It's A Wonderful life A Christmas Story I am also a westerns fan. Almost any western will work. And I do like both versions of True Grit. Big fan of Gone With The Wind. Pretty much, if it's a good movie, I'll watch it.
  7. They don't know why it does it. Larry was asking about it a while back. It's never done it to me. But now that I have said that....
  8. Yes, that's what I meant when I said I started with the old newsgroup.
  9. Yes great people here. I started with this back when it was a "newsgroup". The helpful and knowledgeable peole here was the biggest factor in my going with Cakewalk, and staying with it. I have Studio One from the beginning, Reaper from the beginning. And tried those forums. But none were even close to this one. Best forum on the web.

  11. I forgot the Pop at the end. Modern Pop.
  12. That was a good time to get them. Good sale they had. The only thing I really wanted from them was the Pete Thorn Suhr amp. And I started to get it at the sale price. But I siad I would wait and got the Komplete stuff instead.
  13. I just drink the coffee. They got good coffee!!
  14. I got Komplete 13 Select Full Edition!! uJam Solid EZX Midi pk - Modern Drummer And 2 TC UniTune Clip-on tuners. No duds!! That's a wrap! 😁
  15. I got both, haven't used either yet. But I do like to mess around with them. They are good. The best? IDK 'bout that!! I am VERY limited in my sample libs compared to some of ya'll!! : ) But I do like them. [edit] I got the midi pack from T&S. Didn't realize I didn't have that one!!
  16. Agreed. But I still like TT stuff. I just got into uJam stuff. And it's not bad at all. I just ain't ready to give up on TT!!
  17. Alright, this is my first jump into the "Free Kontakt Rabbit Hole"! Wish me well!!
  18. Let me try and be clearer. I already have Syntronik. No plans at the moment to get Syntronik 2. I installed Syntronik 2 CS because it's a freebie and wanted to try it and see what it's about. I was worried that my Syntronik stuff wouldn't work anymore. (Until I re-read Larry's post) So now that I installed Syntronik 2 CS, I started it up and to me it appears to look just like Syntronik, with the ST4 UI. IOW, nothing really new to me. If there is, I ain't seeing it. Syntronik 2 CS installed it's sample lib on my C drive. I don't want that for future installations. Right now it's only 3 -4 gb. But I want to try and move that before it installs anymore libs there. : )
  19. Yeah I just saw that. I still might grab this. Demoing it now. I do like the UI. Really simple to understand and control. Very easy to change the settings to achieve different sounds fast.
  20. OK, now I see what's going on. I can use Syntronik 2 CS just like I used Syntronik 1. Seems to me to be almost the same UI as far as I can tell. IOW, a lot like ST4. How ever, when I look at the locations that Syntronik 2 CS has for it's libs, it is showing a C\: location. I don't remember if the installer asked me where to put it's files or not. Wondering if everytime I install a Syntronik 2 lib, will it install on my C drive? Can I move it? I don't see a way. I mean I can move them in Explorer, but the sample folder in Syntronik 2 just says Samples. So I am wondering if it's dependent on that folder structure. Might drag the folder over to my sample drive, rename it and see what happens!!
  21. What if you don't have Syntronic 2? Is Syntronic 1 still going to work?
  22. I know!! I just bought it while you were posting!! I went to the link you posted and saw the $199 deal. But when I went to the regular website, did a search for Komplete Select, it would not give me the $199 deal!! It was like over $300!! So I am go to go. Others make note, you have to click Larry's link (or the Cyber Monday link on the main age) to get the $199 deal.
