  1. So is it allowed to sell legitimate licences on this forum? There's no formal thread or sub forum as per KVR etc, so I assumed it isn't allowed. I don't have plans to sell anything but I have a bunch of freebies that I plan to dispose of at some point.
  2. $14.99 using the April code by itself APRIL-25-OFF

    WUP is back

The free stuff I have from them are all NFR; I have Quadravox and the full H9 Bundle. If you look in the ilok app it will confirm the status. I enjoyed Quadravox when I installed it and plan to use it more. I also have MHarmonizerMB as part of a bundle and don't recall ever using it. That's the problem I find when buying large bundles; there are 36 plugins in MCreativeFXBundle.
  4. I'm really pleased for all the people that would have taken a big hit on this. At least they have the choice now on how they wish to proceed.
  5. Very handy for arranging Tom Waits tunes for kids up to the age of five.
  6. I think they are all the same price via the glitch, so the higher the usual price the better the deal, with the Perc being a standout. Some are cheaper to buy in the normal way.
  7. Exactly. If you could pay £10 a month and get access to 90% or whatever percentage it is Spotify offer, of ALL plugins, regardless of the vendor, including new releases, the take up would be tremendous. Can you imagine how overwhelming that would be though! But to get the equivalent of what Spotify offer in terms of market coverage, would cost over £300 a month easily. Plus with music, you can typically buy it outright if you want to.
  8. This is ridiculous. I bet they are massively losing margin on some sales but gaining a lot of new sales at the same time that they otherwise wouldn't have made. They will gain a lot of goodwill for letting this continue. All the goodwill has deserted Waves and gone to CineSamples.
  9. I use Flux Scotty a lot on vocals as it gives everything a Scottish accent.
  10. You have probably added the wrong bundle, so try this one: https://store.cinesamples.com/bundles/the-everything-bundle
  11. Presumably, WUP still gives you an extra license, so not completely wasted for those that bought it for that. Do they mention how many activations you get with the sub? I couldn't see any mention which I take as a bad sign. The only upside is that you can still sell your licences which still have WUP. I have a few , so after fees that might add up to a whopping $10, or a WUPing ten bucks.
  12. That's just not right Larry. Surely you mean, "hung, drawn and quartered".
  13. People here are anti music production software subscriptions which is very different. I have an Office 365 sub because it gives me OneDrive, plus I can install it on 5 devices and share it with up to 5 other people. I pay about £35-40 per year and share it with 3 other people and use 3TB of OneDrive. If Waves do a £40 a year deal which can be shared amongst six people, with five activations each, I think some people would put the pitchforks down!
  14. RAM and NAND chip prices aren't like most PC parts as they are traded commodities. So they tend to fluctuate in both directions like other commodities such as oil and wheat etc, due to there being a market to trade them. The market is for the chips only and not the finished sticks or drives. There has been a large oversupply of both chip types since roughly the middle of last year, so these price drops have been well signposted. The reports are saying that prices will continue to fall until the oversupply has been corrected. It's hard to say when that will be as it depends on demand (the economy!) and how aggressive the manufacturers are in managing or even reducing supply. At least one manufacturer has said they will reduce supply; not sure if that was for NAND or RAM or both! There are only a handful of companies making both types of chips in volume, so the volatility can be induced by the actions of just one company. To be clear, many sellers of RAM sticks and SSDs buy the raw chips made by the handful of chip manufacturers. https://www.dramexchange.com/
  15. It's a promotion for new customers only, so not a sale in the usual sense. Not that I give a flying Roger Waters.
  16. You have to be patient to get the Upgrade for around $175, but I have seen it around that price multiple times.
  17. The cheapest I have seen is to buy the Upgrade from Lite and then pick up Lite from KVR or Knobcloud. About $190 in total.
  18. Do they allow license transfers? I tend to generally avoid products if they can't be, unless they are cheap or considered essential.
  19. I just looked and unsurprisingly they have removed the info on Convology, Ozone and Melodyne. It might put them in an awkward spot with some buyers, who could have bought the bundle specifically for some of those. Convology XT Complete is the one that I have never seen bundled this cheaply.
  20. One thing to be aware of this when you click on the link, it will show you an inflated price, of £25.84 in my case. The whole bundle is available from £20.84 but they automatically add an optional extra. So if you want to pay the base price, click on the button saying “Entire 15 item bundle” and it will revert to the base price. You can also pay a custom amount or adjust the ratio of money that goes to the vendor, Humble and the charity.
  21. It always looked wrong, so a copy and paste error from someone! Why give away Convology with X5 on Humble, when even X7 (non Suite) doesn't get it when bought direct? No Melodyne 5 Essential or Ozone 9 Elements either. I have the free version of Convology but wasn't tempted by XT Complete. Anyone here digging it? I'm just not much of an IR person.
  22. I bought a Magix bundle from Fanatical in the past. It came as a single redemption code as opposed to a bunch of serial numbers. I redeemed that and received a bunch of serial numbers beginning with P3. So if Humble just give you P3 serial numbers, you won’t be able to access any of the extras that require serial numbers from 3rd party vendors.
  23. Nostradamus predicted that Waves would trouble the people of the Earth in 2023. He said something about a commotion in the clouds, which I believe relates to all the sellers on Knobcloud trying to dump their soon to be worthless licences. So this must be what he referred to, unless I am mixing it up with The Mayan calendar or a cataclysmic flood. I must stop watching conspiracy theory vids on YouTube.
