Oops, did you mean to post that on WebMD?

I used to be a banker, but then I lost interest. I dropped out of communism class because of lousy Marx. All the toilets in London police stations have been stolen. Police say they have nothing to go on. Cartoonist found dead in home. Details are sketchy. Not puns per se but.... Did you hear about the fire in the clock factory? There was a lot of second hand smoke. What did the fish say when he hit a concrete wall? "Dam!" Two cannibals were eating a clown. One says to the other, "Does this taste funny to you?"

Ya know, upscale restaurants, really good ones, have very few items on their menus. But the items are excellent. Just saying, sometimes, less is more. -
"Anyone here using Strap On Tool?" I thought this thread was going to be about lesbians.

Check the driver settings for anything that says 'Exclusive'.
-
Maybe you have the driver set to exclusive mode... WASAPI Exclusive - Enhanced for Windows 10, WASAPI Exclusive provides low latency audio and direct access to the audio driver, bypassing the Windows audio engine. Only one application can access the driver in Exclusive mode. WASAPI Shared - Enhanced for Windows 10, WASAPI Shared allows multiple applications to access the driver.

Let's say we have a song in A major....440 Hz. Now we transpose it to 444 Hz. Is there really any significant difference? I believe that any perceived difference in the character of keys is in the physical instrument. Saxophones, guitars, guitar amps, violins, the human voice, etc. all seem to have 'sweet notes': Notes that when played, sound better than other notes...on the same instrument. If a song is transposed to a key that hits an instrument's sweet notes, it's going to sound much better.

I hear the voices in my head....clearly. But they're in a language I don't understand.

Standalone Keyboards as MIDI controllers
RobertWS replied to Douglas Brett's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
You probably don't have a 5-pin MIDI (joystick) port on your PC. Use a good converter (to USB) cable, plug it in and see what happens. -
You could walk into a Micro Center or Best Buy and ask them for their best computer under $500.

[Solved] How do you delete Markers, and why so difficult?
RobertWS replied to kday's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
3rd way: left click the marker and holding the mouse button down....press the delete key. It should be an option in the marker's dialog box you get when you right click a marker. -
Nope. The problem is the width of the selection changes after using Control D. Changing Snap to/by Whole didn't have any effect on the problem. PS: I have the latest version.
-
Do you have a song open? Did you try Alt-8?
-
When using Control-D to duplicate notes, the selection is getting reset after every duplication. It is truncating the 'white space'. The selection has to be manually adjusted to a full bar after every duplication. Control_D.mp4

You didn't answer the question.

The wheel is old technology. Have you stopped using wheels?
-
None of the notes you sent were grayed out. The Pitch Wheel events are gray, but they can still be edited. I'm guessing the Guitar/Midi transducer is trying to reflect slurs, pitch bends, vibrato, etc. in your playing. You can see a visual representation of them in this view:

War, disease, famine....but this is beyond the pale! I'm glad I didn't point out how the word 'foreign', with it's stupid silent g, caused me to not get a perfect score on a spelling test in the 2nd grade.

I'm really sorry I asked.
