  1. Seems a better deal to buy from them off ebay as it includes free return shipping, and is cheaper if you buy more than one. Same on Ebay without promocode + free shipping returns Direct from Monoprice Indio Power Block Fully Isolated 8-Output Guitar Pedal Power Supply on sale for $39.99 after applying promo code PRES free shipping Make sure to enter code “PRES”.
  2. Not atmos? Pfffft. it’s 2023. Get WIFFIT UAD! I kid, mostly. These demos sound pretty good. And that’s pretty much the same way I’d mic a 122.
  3. Copped it. Still learning the in’s and out's. I slapped it on my 2 mix across several genres of music, within a minute had things sounding better- tighter, more ‘expensive’ sounding I guess. Gonna avoid their “magic” buzzword here, but I think they nailed it. The “mid bump” button is pretty awesome, as boring as a button like that may seem. I kinda rolled my eyes at the preset eqs, but they actually seem to work pretty great on a lot of stuff. The pros of packing a crapload into one plug in may seem like they are balanced with the con of not being able to user define a lot of the parameters, but this doesn’t seem to matter that much. I highly recommend you demo it before the intro price disappears.
  4. sooooo, no MatrixBrute for $1k.... *rats*
  5. I had a lot of reward points in my account that made this obscenely cheap. Something to consider if yours will expire soon.
  6. Korneff Audio Sale I do recommend the Micro Digital Reverb for 21 schmeckles. The others are pretty cool too. I got most of them on sale cheaper, and they are pretty subjective, but it’s pretty obviously they go after “vibe” and character with their plug ins, and I think they succeed pretty well. And as much as I dig the character for indierock, $140 for the delay on sale is a hard sell. That Pawn Shop comp is pretty cool.
  7. Please clarify. Is this a typo on your site?
  8. Love me some Erica Synths. I don't mind iLok. Was very excited about this. No AAX is a deal killer for me. Have fun everyone else! Whoa, AAX! Ut oh!
  9. Thanks. It shows up next to BB tubes and Lil tubes and when did a search for it, so it definitely wasn't there. I just ran the installer in 2 other control rooms and didn't have the same issue.
  10. Got it. I'd probably wait for a big sale for Convology XT Complete. I got it for $100. There's a ton of great IRs in there (it excludes the True Stereo or Real Spaces Libraries). My biggest gripe is the lack of ability to search the IR's. This seems like a very serious feature to lack for the amount of impulse responses. Feel free to email the company and ask them to add this feature. While I much prefer Altiverb and ReMatrix, there's a great deal of value in this one. The plug in is free, and comes with a lot of stuff to get your started. Run that as a demo and see if it works for you.
  11. I'm doing a project this week that involves a bit of experimentation involving midi to cv to branch into the world of eurorack modules. This seemed like it had a good amount of variety for what we are doing so I copped it. The entire download is 7.7GB. This includes any 'bonus' material. The construction kits will be helpful for what I've got going on, but John's wav comment is totally valid (especially with the folders that include a demo song bounced in both wav and mp3). Durr. Here's an example of the spilt sizewise between wav and midi: 35 midi files. 35 wav files. I suppose I'll use the wavs for auditioning. I should note this package comes with a $25 giftcard (purchase $25 and up) you can apply on the newnation site. I can safely state that this collection is not a "$1,224.00 Value".
  12. just a reminder... Zo puts out some great content here available for free. Take the time to shoot some youtube likes his way.
  13. I ran the Mercury installer (did the update in central). Mercury showing "installed" and activated. Not showing up in PT, but I do see Lil Tube and BB Tubes. Had to go to the Waves site, login, do the "get latest version" to go from 14.0.3 to 14.0.4 in Waves Central. I have WUP. Installed again. Launched PT, missing plug ins. Grrr. Opened central. Tried "Fix permissions and ownership". Launched PT. No dice. Grrrr. Opened central. Tried "repair" this time. Took a while- longer than you'd want with a client in the room. Launched PT. No dice. Grrrrr. Ran Version organizer. At this point, Mercury no longer showed to be installed. I installed that again and it finally showed up in PT. When this kinda stuff happens, you kinda don't want to like the plug in. I think this one sets a record for most 'artist presets' I've seen. Hundreds of them, almost jokingly. I probably recognize 1% of the names. Perhaps they are mostly tiktok influencers. No oversampling I can see. Kinda a hot topic these days, I guess.
  14. I own the modules (and spares). Love em. At 48k and 44.1k only. The AutoFlanger is... *chefs kiss*. The AutoPhaser is... There's a low pass filter that rolls off the top end on this plug in that's... wrong. If you automate it on, say, your master fader... you're going to hear an instant filter rolling off your top end. Minus this top end issue, it's great. It's usable in many situations you want a phaser. And perfect at 88.2k and higher. I still bought it.
  15. Atlantis and some of the amp sims are the only Softube stuff I don't own. The Fix Phaser is a good deal. And some you should note that they (like the phaser) work within Modular and Amp Room, if that matters to you. Hail Paul Wolff and all that. But some of these, you may want to pass on if you plan on getting one of their volumes that include stuff. I only find myself using the TubeDelay and SpringReverb within Modular.
  16. Thanks team. Some of these are actually great so don't sleep on them.
  17. Sudotack Professional USB Condenser Microphone w/ Aluminum Storage Case on sale for $72.99 - 65% off when you apply promo code 6584T6WB at checkout = $25.55. Shipping is free. Again, enter code: 6584T6WB Comes to $27.98 with tax here. Probably doesn't sound as good as a Tube47.
  18. Stage Right by Monoprice SIC1 True-bypass Silicon Fuzz Guitar Pedal One of those small batteryless ones. Apparently true bypass. Shut up. It's 14 bucks shipped.
  19. He's a singer. He rides the gravy train.
