Yes, mine came through fine, but it said the same thing and took maybe 30 mins to an hour. I wasn't sure I was going to actually get the serial at that price, but almost fell off my chair when I did! I was already logged into Softube anxiously waiting to register it! Easily the best purchase of 2024 for me so far 🤣

Softube definitely seems to defy that and holds their prices more than most Devs, but this was an absurd price. I picked up MM-1 last year for $59, so with this upgrade that makes it $178 for the entire Weiss Collection which is $999 and generally gets discounted to around $500. You can get it a bit cheaper than that by picking up MM-1 and their DeEsser and I was going to upgrade to DS1 or complete that way, but DS1 alone never sells for $178. It does mean I could've skipped buying the DeEsser, but I got to use it in the meantime and I'll put it up for sale on KVR 🙂 They've pulled the listed from the store now, so I'll need to to mark it as expired.

That's still wrong anyway 🤣 Check the upgrade prices for the other things. They're more expensive to buy and the upgrade is still more expensive than just from the MM-1. The upgrade is never as cheap as $199, not even close for Complete.

I normally snooze on updates for at least a week in case any bugs get found, but I'm actually really surprised there are any with Kazrog. I almost just updated anyway assuming they would be safe, but held off... Seems that may have been a good choice this time around.

Like the guys mentioned, you might have clicked on the options. The only other thing I can think of, is unless you had an existing account maybe and signed in first, but I don't think that would cause it in this case. Hope you got it sorted.

I think these guys need to use different AI / LLM for creating their product names 🤣 As for price, they released some plugins that were a lot more expensive than the competition and got away with it.. Just about always slow for deals this time of year when they've already thrown everything at us progressively since Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas and then New Year's. This is the time of year when they try and say see we do actually advertise at those crazy overinflated RRPs only so they can then discount them again 🤣

Definitely recommend testing SigMod first, it crashes all DAWs I tested and is incompatible with many plugins. They are aware of the issue.

It's a tricky comparison because a lot of users are getting their first set of decent planar headphones for the first time with Slate as that's what they come with. If all Realphones users were buying new planar cans at the same time as Realphones it would be a more reasonable comparison. The edge Slate have is that the correction is based off the individual unit you actually receive from my understanding. You can also get individual correction measurements done by Dsoniq as well though. Note: Slate doesn't do system wide on Windows last I checked, which is a huge let down in comparison to Realphones which does. I'd rather be listening to audio through the DAW as well as YouTube, Spotify whatever through the same correction and setup instead of having to mentally adjust for the differences.

Yeah it's a little steeper than I expected. System wide on Windows is a huge plus over Slate, so everything you listen to is corrected, otherwise I might have given VSX a go. I haven't completely ruled out VSX though. If anyone has the survey code and isn't going to use it, please PM me 🙂

I tried them a while ago and didn't think much of them... hasn't stopped me collecting them over the years for free, but I haven't installed one in a while 🤣

I think Antares uses it as well.. installed some of them, hated the look of Codemeter and then disabled it.

It doesn't seem it to me and even if it's legal, I find it deceptive. They don't even say Royalty Free* and then you find the asterisk and it explains placements. In one sense it is royalty free for you to sell your music, it's just if you place it with a major label, then they want a cut!
