As ever a class production with cool song writing nice job Nigel and Devine Lie.
  2. Classic Freddy, nice as ever, like you I have a couple of distractions so far this year.
  3. You miss the point, they are monitoring the use of the free product. They are in effect checking to see if it is still needed.
  4. @jinchul kang are you using in ARA mode as a region FX, or as a VST plugin?
  5. @adwsail first post and you seem confused. Firstly, Cakewalk Sonar, Cakewalk Next and Cakewalk by Bandlab have absolutely nothing to do with the old Gibson regime, just some shared code but no shared ownership. Bandlab Technologies owe you nothing. Cakewalk Sonar, Cakewalk Next are both subscription based products. Cakewalk by Bandlab or CbB as it sometimes known is most definitely free. If you can remember your old username and password, then download the latest version of the CCC where you can access all your old Cakewalk products. Or if you download the new Cakewalk Product Centre and login with your, free, Bandlab Account you can download CbB for free. If you so desire you could take out a subscription to the new Sonar, Next, (Next also runs on MAC OS), and the extended version of the Website Bandlab app, plus all the Bandlab MIDI and Audio loops. I hope that helps you with your apparent confusion.
  6. 2. Did you create a new folder? I believe there is a tick box that says copy audio. 3. You can save as but change the type to template, and the location to the template directory.
  7. You do only have one program open? Find AUD.INI for CbB and rename or delete it.
  8. Did you follow the instructions about removing restrictions to the BIOS?
  9. Really wow I didn't know that, which I obliviously did. It is however still the XLN plugin management tool, whatever name it has, as it helps users manage the installation of XLN plugins, does it not? As you have corrected me so efficiently then perhaps you should advise the OP of my stupid mistake.
  10. Have you changed the .inf file as instructed in the article you quote in the first post here? Why Roland put the restriction in 8s bizarre but there it is.
  11. Check activation of AD drums in their plugin management tool.
  12. @ZincT do you have the Sandbox feature enabled in Preferences > VST > Scan ? This can help get around the sticking issues by pushing tricky plugins into a sort of private scan to allow the others to continue.
  13. I don't use loops or samples, I record what I need.
  14. Actually why are you stretching something you recorded? Why not record the right length?
  15. @Cobus Prinsloo there is an option to select automation, with clips, when copying, you may need that to be selected.
  16. @Andrey_rbkPage 632 describes the differences between different type stretching and the difference between offline and online render. Did you read that?
  17. @Andrey_rbk the loop algorithms are changed in Preferences >Audio. I would recommend reading the reference guide on how and what the different type work and do.
  18. @Benoit Alary TTS-1 Was removed at the request of its owner Roland. Do yoy have a history of Cakewalk Sonar ownershownship pre Bandlab?
  19. Because I missed the word YOU out of the question why do YOU use it. Simples
  20. @pwalpwal back in the 90's there was a lot of very unnecessary infighting between the technical press. During the 80/90's transition you have to remember it was not a matter of PC/Apple but also Amiga's, and Atari's and all the other computer platforms trying to dominate the DAW market. There was lot of evidence that those who could afford to "pay" the press got exposure. Twelve Tone Systems, the company that gave birth to the Cakewalk products was a really small one or two man band, who had no money could not afford to make such payments. Unfortunately those who have so called "power & influence" are very fruit based computers biased. Consequently they push the fruit based computer platform.
  21. Two questions. 1. If it isn't main stream why did the piano great Mr Ray Charles use it in his studio? 2. If it is not mainstream why are you using it? Would you not rather be in with the cool kids, down with the main peeps, in with the mainstream crowd.
