I get the drift also .. NOT to frighten people away from posting here regardless. To @Ted Haber I did & would say ( hoping to be helpful ) with such a specific Q about Insta INSIDE Studio 1 issues I imagine the Presonus forums this time around is probably best place to go. While we might have a few Studio 1 / CW users here I would say that number drops significantly for those who might have Studio 1 AND insta ( besides @Grem of course )

Put it to you this way @Doug Rintoul .. I really dont mind in general what is asked BUT in this case it was very specifically a Q about something not working in STUDIO 1 .. completely unrelated to Cakewalk which is what these forums are generally about ( by that I mean its Cakewalk Forums ), so unless some here also use Studio 1 AND Insta composer then his Q was never going to be answered So I am having an issue with the woocommerce plugin in Wordpress .. I cannot figure out how to sort a multi size garment product

Yip I think I made mistake. It was showing current version 3.0.25 .. it has now completed update to 3.1.3 on PC

Yes there is an update on PC but you always have to do so via the UVI Portal app not the UVI Workstation App. On PC for me anyway its updating to ver 3.0.25

Ok all that being said. Teds Q was specifically about Presonus Studio 1 DAW. The best place for such a Q .. purely to gain more response from actual Studio 1 users .. is surely over at a Studio 1 forum? Unless we have a huge Studio 1 userbase here? Asking here in a subset section of another DAWs forum definitely guarantees a far lower Studio 1 userbase seeing the question? BTW I dont see any preamble for the deals sub section? I do see one for the Coffee House section: This is an inclusive discussion area, intended to promote music-related discussions that do not pertain specifically to Cakewalk software. Users of all experience levels and backgrounds can ask questions and share knowledge. By making your posts music-related, you help preserve the quality of these discussions. I am assuming and maybe wrong that Music related for Coffee house is about Music in general rather than troubleshooting specific software?

Have ye tried it yet? I have and it works great TBH. Record to phone app, saved to cloud, open CW and import .. visa versa also Loads of EFX also BTW

One could argue .. with regards to an Android / Iphone app ... similar could be done using an app we all have already ... The BANDLAB App on your phone/tablet that is integrated into CW?

@Ted Haber You do realise this is CAKEWALK by BANDLAB DAW forum and not Studio One??? In CW the drag and drop works just fine

@John Vere DONE. Updated image in OP with Insta Composer open also. A sample track with midi data in that ( track 5 ) that you drag and drop to the tracks in the CW workspace. I dont play any of this inside the Insta Comp plugin. Purely generate and then drag drop the midi data to CW workspace VSTi instrument tracks

@Josh | W. A. Production Ran into some trouble with Insta and MIDI tracks. I posted in the general CW section thinking it was CW initially but I think its Insta .. I mention there what I think happened. I am using the drag drop method from within insta to the various VSTi instrument tracks https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/34560-one-midi-inst-track-with-midi-playing-the-midi-from-another-midi-inst-track/ My issue was I had a bass line in track 3 of instacomposer. I do not play the melodys etc in instacomposer, I drag/drop each ( midi data ) to the Vsti instrument tracks in CW workspace. So inside Insta track 3, the Bass "mode" was set to channel 3. used the drag option to get midi data into Track 5 in the CW workspace ( Kontakt 5.1 ) .. press play in CW with track 5 solo'ed .. SILENCE. Unmute, I hear that Kontakt instrument playing the midi line dragged into PIGMENTS track in CW instead ( track 3 ). So .. I went back to Insta and tried changing the 3rd track in there ( Bass mode ) to midi Channel 1 and re-dragged dropped the midi data to the Kontakt track 5 in CW workspace .. TAA DAA that worked. So unless i am doing something completely wrong there seems to be some weird midi channel issue going on in insta inside CW. I did not have this issue with the babylon, Pigments lines for some reason. I also tried another vsti in track 5 instead of the Kontakt, same problem If you have thoughts on this post them HERE as opposed to over there. i probably should have posted the above post here but at the time I didnt suspect Insta

Strange one indeed. It seems IT IS something to do with the INSTA COMPOSER and the BASS track in that plugin generating on a particular channel. It was set to channel 3 inside insta .. set it to channel 1, that seems to sort

Hi Guys, This is an odd one. See image: I am using the WA insta composer to create track parts ( creates AI midi lines that can be dragged to midi / instrument tracks etc ) So Babylon, Pigments and BM Vice tracks all playing fine. But then no matter what instrument I add to track 5 it will not play the midi added to it. In fact if I can get track 5 to play it keeps playing the midi from Pigment track 3. And if I open piano roll for track 5 I hear silence when depressing keyboard left of pianoroll but open virtual keyboard works. I thought it might be an issue with WA Insta composer so I deleted that instrument, still no joy. What I havent tried yet is a new project and import those midi tracks to it and see then. Just asking here in case I am missing something. The instrument tracks are simple via drag vest to workspace

The wow factor in this has to be that its a MULTITRACK auto midi composer, something that other similar tools are not in that generally they are one track chord composers. I think this is the major point. So if you completely change the bass line chord wise, the other tracks will too
